Hi!!
Thank you so much for answering my last question.
These past few days have been amazing — with the release of the new chapter, the new cover for the second part of the second season of the anime, and to top it all off, the trailer with the new opening song! I felt so happy and excited about everything.
The only sad part was hearing that Aida is unwell... I really hope she can get some proper rest and recover soon.
By the way, if you've already read the new chapter, would you mind talking a bit about it? Honestly, I found it a little confusing — especially when it comes to Akane. I didn’t quite understand which reality he came from or how he managed to find Yashiro.
If it’s not too much trouble, could you explain the chapter and help clarify those parts? I’d really appreciate it! 💖
💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Everything is going amazing!!!
Well, let's wait for Aida to recover, everything will be fine.
Akane came from one of Nene's attempts to fix the past. It was the attempt where she managed to save the two, but they both stayed in the house. Nene told the truth and with that Akane went back to the past and found the Nene we saw, who would try to change the past again.
Got it?
Nene went back to the past >>>> managed to save Akane, but she got stuck in the house and told Akane the truth >>> Akane goes back in time to before Nene tried to change the past once again, where the future would be her and Aoi being stuck in the house and Akane being saved >>>> he goes back and sends Nene to the twins' past.
It's confusing, I know, that's what happens when they try to change the past too many times XD
Nene put the responsibility in Akane's hands again, who gave it back to her later.
I hope I helped!!! 💖

The Mermaid's Memories
Have you ever stopped to think that Amane may ALREADY have a serious relationship with Nene in another timeline, and the current Amane KNOWS this and that's why he finds it so easy to touch her?
He always seems to remember her, doesn't he?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just a thought that I think would be funny if it happened
Although Amane was very incredulous that Nene would start to like him at first.
Tumblr media
He resisted kissing her several times, even though he had so many opportunities.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I always imagined it was so that she wouldn't get involved in the story of his past (and of course, because he's a ghost and all the impossibilities that result from that), but she had eaten the scale, they were already connected to each other, so maybe there was some other reason.
But, have you ever imagined that, while Hanako made several attempts to save Tsukasa, in all of them he meets Nene from the past/future, and falls in love with her, and in all of the possibilities Nene ended up dying?
Hanako explains that only those who are close to death can summon him, yes, but, if the reason for Nene's premature death are the yorishiro seals, then the reason for her death is directly linked to Hanako?
Imagine that Hanako lost her and Tsukasa several and several times, so in the new attempt (the old reality where he is Hanako-kun), he knew that she would die if they two got together, because it may have happened other times in other realities, so he avoids it?
He actually tried The boy couldn't resist and kissed her XD
It seems that he remembers many things, others not so much, I always thought that this was because of Kako, who must be responsible for the loss of these specific memories of Amane. If not him, then the entity.
Amane's memories seem to be jumbled, but he remembers some things.
Nene not knowing Hanako = doesn't remove the seals = Nene doesn't die.
But the question is, why does removing the seals lead her to an early death?
My first theory was that she would be a sacrifice, after all she is a Kannagi. So, Hanako would use her to remove the seals, get the wish from the "God" and sacrifice her to get that wish, saving Tsukasa, but he fell in love with her, and now he would have to choose between her and Tsukasa.
So, he may have tried to convince himself not to fall in love with her in other realities, so that it would be possible and he could save Tsukasa.
But he always fails and falls in love with her.
If he falls in love, he can no longer use her as a sacrifice.
He's at an impasse again.
Hm….
Possibilities to think about.

*Just random thoughts, don't take it seriously XD

Hey you! Missed ya!
Did you like chapter 127? I’m definitely thinking Amane figured out the clock. Hopefully him and Yashiro can work together to make things right, and maybe he will even recognize her!! Eeee I’m so excited to see where it goes. What are your thoughts? :)
Hello sweetie!!! ohhhh how cute!! thanks!! I've been a bit absent around here, haven't I?
Tumblr media
But I always come to comment on one thing or another haha
Well, I'm not going to lie to you that I was disappointed. I thought that this time Nene would have the chance to mature and save everyone by herself, but Akane showed up to solve most of the main problems.
At least I can imagine that all the experience will be useful for her in the future, but it was a waste of opportunity.
Let's see how things turn out!
Could the boy be Amane? hahaha Will he be really shy with her? hmmmm Let's see what will happen!!

Remember Nene wanted a hot guy to fall from the sky to be saved?
it ended up foreshadowing how chapter 127 ended with Nene on top of Amane
*screaming*
i hope you're having a lovely day <3
Hahahahaha yessssssssssss!!!!! and wow!!! who would have thought that Amane would live Nene's dream!!!!! XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

🧩 Question about Tsukasa as a yorishiro in Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun:
Hi! I hope you’re doing well.
Thank you so much for your last response!
By the way, have you seen the new cover art for Volume 24 of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun? I think it looks amazing! I also heard that Aida-sensei had to go to the hospital — thankfully, it seems it wasn’t anything serious. I really hope she gets some rest and recovers well.
Now, onto my question:
I’ve been thinking about Tsukasa and his role as Hanako’s yorishiro, and I’m a bit confused.
---
What I understand:
It makes perfect sense that Tsukasa is Hanako’s yorishiro, since he’s clearly the most important person to Hanako.
---
🤔 But here’s what confuses me:
1. Comparison with Sumire (No. 6’s yorishiro):
Sumire kept her human appearance and was stuck in a time loop, reliving the day she died until she was removed from the boundary.
But Tsukasa is a ghost — he floats and has a ghost-like form.
So why didn’t he stay in a human form within the boundary like Sumire?
2. About him leaving the boundary:
I understand that Tsukasa forced his way out, or maybe Sakura helped him.
But still, why does he have supernatural powers like Koku-jodai, and why can he grant wishes and float?
3. His connection to the Red House:
Tsukasa is clearly connected to the Red House, which likely explains some of his powers and behavior.
But as Hanako’s yorishiro, wouldn’t that mean he belongs more to Hanako now?
So why does the Red House still seem to have such a strong influence over him, maybe even more than Hanako?
4. His ghost form:
If he’s a yorishiro, wouldn’t it make more sense for him to appear human, like Sumire, while still having powers?
In other words, why does he need to be a ghost, instead of a human preserved within a boundary?
---
✅ Summary of the question:
Could you help me understand — from your perspective or opinion — why Tsukasa still has a ghostly form and supernatural abilities, even though he’s Hanako’s yorishiro?
What explains this state and power, especially when compared to other yorishiros like Sumire?
Hello sweetie!!! sorry for the delay!!!! Annnnd thank youuu!!! I wish you the same!
I saw it!!! hahahaa I'm glad you liked it!!! Aidairo always surprises us with they artistic skills! And yes, I hope she's okay! I wonder what must have happened, I hope everything turns out okay.
About question 1
Human yorishiros are still mysterious, theoretically both Sumire and Tsukasa were sacrificed to the entity, right?
The difference between them is that Tsukasa was still human while he was in the red house with the entity, just like Sumire, but he returned to Amane.
Tumblr media
And why is this important?
Because Amane killed Tsukasa, and so he became a ghost. Which may indicate that whoever is inside the red house didn't actually "die", at least not the red house of the old reality, after all, the 4-year-old Tsukasa was warm and had a pulse, as Nene said.
Tumblr media
And in order for him to be killed, he would need to be alive, right? He became a ghost after being murdered by Amane, just as Amane became a ghost when he killed himself.
About question 2
Some say that the Joudais are the ones who keep an eye on the twins, as if they were being monitored, perhaps by that God who kept the Yorishiro seals. It's a theory, but it's quite likely to be the case.
Tsukasa floats because he's a ghost, it's a common ability, Mitsuba also floated when he was a ghost.
The abilities to grant wishes that he has seem to be from the entity inside the twins.
About question 3
Tsukasa's connection to the house is linked to the entity. No matter how strong the connection between Amane and Tsukasa is, the entity is stronger, it's rooted in that house, which also connects to the school.
Amane (apparently) tried to get rid of the entity, but so far he's never been able to. That's why he's still trying to find a way to "save" Tsukasa from the influence of that thing, even making him believe that Tsukasa might be an "impostor".
About question 4
Because that was the form he took after death, as Amane said, not all humans who die become supernaturals, but the twins have a connection with the entity, implying that they were already supernaturals before (Tsukasa got involved with one when he was 4 years old). Therefore, the ghost form is still considered better than the other form by Amane.
And about the summary
Yorishiros take the form of anything their owner loves, and that was Tsukasa's current form, a ghost because he was murdered, and with supernatural abilities because he was fused with an entity that grants wishes.
Sumire had no connection with any entity, she was sacrificed and was trapped in the red house. She did not die naturally nor did she merge with the entity, like Tsukasa.

If the entity is no longer sealed, does that mean that the other God, the one that the mysteries followed, has ceased to exist?
We wondered how there could be two gods, one being the entity and the other that the mysteries follow.
Where is this "second" God now?

Hi 👋
I was watching the first season and I noticed that tsukasa wouldn't fully appear until after destroying 2 yourishiros. I think this supports Kako' s words about the hole entity inside tsukasa that gets stronger with the destruction of the yourishiro ? . I also noticed that hanako appeared and moved well despite being sealed . Does this mean that the twins are two opposing forces that shouldn't come together with the same strength and fight against each other ?
I apologize , my thoughts are chaotic 😞 help me !!!
Hello!!!!
The seal theory is real! The proof of this is that the absence of these seals allowed the entity to become free, and consequently stronger. I can't say if it is fully recovered with full strength, but it is active.
So yes, apparently, the seals really exist to keep the entity weak. But still see this as a theory until we have the truth from Aidairo.

face you make when the world is falling apart all around you and you just kissed the girl of your dreams (that you thought you'd never see again)(whose best friend you have ritually sacrificed to extend her life span) and kinda sorta confessed that you like her and she pulls out a pure white 2000 piece puzzle in response

Hey O_O long time no see. So i've had something in mind since the beginning of this weird thing with travel time.. ok, so the clockepers in theory his objective was to eliminate Tsukasa or the "thing" inside him, that ended up with a beautiful world, I'd say superficially bc Amane is soooo umm (I don't really wanna go there), but yes, is beautiful, Teru's mother is alive, Mitsuba is alive and for what we've seen, most of the tragedies of the originals timeline never happened, Mei is alive too. And here's the thing, it's beautiful not just bc it is or bc the clockepers were looking for the best result (in that case I don't think Amane would be like that) but bc they changed something related with Tsukasa that prevented those tragedies, does that mean, from the beginning all those things happened by his influence, by his fault? I mean, Mitsuba took a photo of the red house but what abt the others? I hope it's understandable what o want to say, I don't know, it's a thing in my mind, ¿What do you think? ¿Why?
Hiii!!!! Sorry for the delay in answering!!! Ahem, I'm here now u.u
Tumblr media
Well, if it weren't for Mei, I would really believe that the tragedies are directly linked to the Red House. So you ask me, but why is Mei an exception?
Her memories are not related (as far as we've seen) to the Red House, she didn't even study at the same school either, she died of a terminal illness, strangely similar to Amane? Yes, yes.
The question is: how does Tsukasa's return affect Mei's lifespan?
In the reality in which she dies, Mei (apparently) didn't make any request to Tsukasa or the entity to survive the illness, proof of that is that she is dead.
We also saw that Shijima was born from Mei's desire to be healthy, but the two only "met" many years after her death.
Tumblr media
This is where the question lies.
How is she directly involved with Tsukasa or the Red House?
Mitsuba had gone to that house, he took a picture, like you said. Teru's mother died, and I always thought her death was directly related to the twins, Teru's hatred for Hanako is very strong compared to the other supernaturals he's faced before, which means that maybe the twins are involved in this. You know, the entity.
Still, it's strangely convenient that Amane, Teru's mother and Mei all had a terminal illness, isn't it? Quite a coincidence.
Sometimes I think this illness was purposefully provoked, maybe by the entity, so that it can influence someone to want their loved ones to be saved.
Well, I'm still curious to know Mei's connection to Tsukasa, that's what we have so far.
And so far we can't blame Tsukasa. You've seen the effect the entity has on those it possesses. Amane, Kou, Nene, Tsukasa in the current reality is also possessed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They are possessed and don't know what they have done until they "awaken".
In the old reality, Tsukasa is (apparently) aware of things, but he is still under the influence of the entity.
Tumblr media
In the end, it is the entity's fault (so far).
That's what Kako himself said.

I wanted to ask about Akane’s like haniwa figure thing? Were told Aoi gave it to him but it’s about protecting the deceased so why would she have it, and why would she just.. give it to him? I read up on it and google has very contradicting thoughts. One part says it also protects the living and the other says it only protects the dead
Hello!!!
Wow, I once saw a post about this, a long time ago and I don't remember which blog did it, but they had these same questions that weren't answered.
They are kept in cemeteries or buried with the dead, which means that it is most likely that they protect the dead. Despite this, it is still uncertain even for researchers as to their real function.
