Senior dress up day

Well today is senior dress up day and I received my cap and gown so excited to graduate. Now I’m sitting in Shadyside hospital waiting for my dad to come back after yet again another procedure. Also he had a feeding tube installed Hallelujah! He’ll finally be able to get some nourishment into his body.

Yes, I am only seventeen. My father was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer a month after I started my senior year of high school. Fast forward to today - missing school about to leave and visit my father at upmc Shadyside. Since then he has gone into remission once, Lost his appetite completely, had many stents installed, lots of cards and flowers sent, received numerous fluids, cancer returning, cancer spreading to lymph nodes and liver, and many many prayers.
