Is there something lurking in the tunnels stalking students at RIT? Or is it just a student with a camera and a semi-creepy shot? You decide.

Tips for procrastination
1. Watch the first Harry Potter movie. After you watch the first one, you're immediately going to want to watch the second one, and then the third, and so on. 2. Rearrange your room. Nothing like some feng shui to keep your mind away from homework. 3. Build a blanket (or pillow) fort. Once you're done rearranging your room, you can build a fort out of blankets and/or pillows. 4. Watch the latest episode of "Community" before the new one tonight.

Tips for procrastination
by Carly Rumpf
Is week ten dragging you down? Don't worry! RIT Confessions is a hilarious page on Facebook that will give you a smile!
RIT Confessions is a Facebook page run by a couple anonymous RIT students! People can submit their secrets, the administrators will look over it and post it to the page!
They get a lot of submissions everyday. In order to raise your chances of getting picked make sure your confession:
doesn't include personal information
isn't a "diary" entry
and makes sense
Spill your guys and relieve stress while laughing it up and loving your school! :)

Five Questions with Adam Hartley
Tumblr media
Photo Credit: Melissa Bromley In the Valentine's day spirit, I thought I would ask my loving boyfriend a few questions! He's the goof on the right side - he and my brother were about to go on a "scuba excursion"... When did you start playing hockey? I think when I was five years old. I moved to Canada when I was 4 and that was the first time I skated, so I was enrolled in hockey the next year. My skates were brown; I don’t know why I remember that. I might even still have them… What do you like most about hockey? Umm, that’s a good question. Well I kept playing because it was fun and I enjoyed it, and I was good at it. But looking at it from a sports fan’s view, it’s really unpredictable and I like that. If you could play any other sport, what would it be and why? Tennis in a heartbeat! I like the grace of the sport. I like the fact that if you mess up or if you lose it’s typically on you and you can’t make excuses – other then the fact that you were beaten. And if you make it to the pros, the traveling would be unreal. All over the world, and if you’re good enough, you could be known as an international icon. What is it like having your head jumbo sized at your home games? (Check the picture - he is on the left side)
Tumblr media
Photo Credit: Caitlin Kempski It's creepy but hilarious at the same time. I love the support though, it is pretty funny though! How is your week 10 going? Well I just found out that I have no finals, so I’m pretty pumped. Time to watch all sorts of Harlem Shake videos.

Five questions with Dom Bellardo
Tumblr media
My Dad is quite the character and never short on sarcasm. I decided to ask him a few questions the other night.
1. What was the best part of your day today?
The best part of my day today was when I turned on my Xbox 360 to play "Call of Duty Black Ops".
2. What was the last movie you watched?
The last movie I watched was "Alex Cross". I found it so poorly acted that I went to bed halfway through.
3. If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life what would it be?
Wow, that's a tough question. It would be "Glory Days" by Bruce Springsteen.
4. Do you have any special plans for Mom this Valentine's Day?
I am taking your mother out to dinner with Grandma and Poppy to the Lakewood Rod & Gun. How romantic is that?
5. How excited are you that I am going to be home for nine days straight?
Is that a real question or are you just trying to trick me? I am so excited words cannot express my joy.

Tips for procrastination
1. Cook your favorite dish. Sometimes when I'm bored or just need to get distracted I like baking cookies. I only know how to make oatmeal rasin though, good thing there my favorite : ) 2. Texting! It's pretty much self explanitory, texting is a source of much distraction and can keep you procrastinating for hours. 3. Try a new make-up or hair look. Sometimes when I'm procrastinating doing my work I try doing different hairstyles and see what looks good. I like looking at natural hair videos Check out Jarmaine's video about procrastinating: http://youtu.be/xfJ1CzlWY1A

Tips for Procrastination
By Emily Clark
Happy Week Ten! Can you believe it? Like most, I have been doing what ever possible to procrastinate through this week. Let's just say I have gotten myself in over my head with work. In case you need a break, like I've been convincing myself I need every two minutes, here are some tips!
1. Follow @Earth_Pics on Twitter or "like" Earth Pics on Facebook
These pictures are AMAZING. Seriously. Check them out for shots of exceptional locations located around the world. Pick a few you'd like to go to on vacation. The, try to brainstorm ways you can possibly save enough money to go to somewhere like Bora Bora or the Maldives.
2. Try to have an entire texting conversation in emoticons
This is a tad bit more exciting if you have an iphone because they have some seriously kick-butt emoticons. Regardless this is a fun, different way to communicate with a friend. See how long you can keep a conversation going with actually understanding what the other person is saying.
3. Go to Wegmans
I think until the end of time, I will always being the biggest fan of Wegmans. What's not to love? You can pretty much get anything you could ever need there and it's gorgeous! Make sure you check out Calkins road Wegmans or the Pittsford location. You can literally get lost in both. Walk around, explore, find some new foods/products, and enjoy!

Now you see it, now you don't. Pizza is most definitely a delicacy in a house with four poor college kids!

This photo was taken nearby the campus center and the student Alumni building.  It is a sculpture of the RIT’s icon which was made for Freeze Fest. It looked pretty neat so I took a snapshot of it.

5 Questions With...JULIE APPERSON aka my mom
Tumblr media
Photo Credit: Jennie Thies Inspired each day by my mom, I figured I'd give her a minute in the spotlight. Love her. 1) What is a typical day like for you? A typical day for me consists of me inevitably waking up late, subsequently trying to keep a 2 year old to cooperate in a congenial manner and flying out of the house armed with what seems like 20 lbs of luggage to get her to the sitter and me to my job where I can spend the next 9 hours feeling stressed out and unappreciated. My reprieve is my lunch break where I typically chip away at my frustration with a 3 mile run at the local YMCA. At the end of my work day, I pick up the same little cherub and we go home to have dinner, playtime, bath time, reading time and bed time. Then I get to start my homework at 9:30 or so as I thought it would be a good idea to return to school in my 40's until about midnight; at which time I cannot sleep so rely on my ruzzle and words with friends partners and "dvr'd" episodes of The Real Housewives of... (whatever city they are filming now) until the wee hours of the am; when I will finally drift off only to wake up late and start the same cycle all over again. 2) When you were a teenager did you predict your life to be this way? Absolutely not... I really thought that I was destined to be a millionairess, marry Ringo Starr and adopt all the children in Ethiopia through the mail. LOL 3) What is it like going back to college as an adult? In all seriousness, I love learning and if I had the money and the opportunity I would be a professional student. I feel blessed to be back in school now and in pursuit of self-betterment. I may complain about the lack of time and being tired along the way, but I wouldn't change it. I love school. 4) What motivates you to get out of bed each day? To silence the alarm clock in the next room over which yells "MOM...MOM....MOM....MOM...Oh Ko Shea Kos MOM???!!!...MOM". Believe it or not, I got that little living breathing alarm clock at Walmart. 5) Who is your favorite child? This is a trick question and I refuse to be baited.

Tips For Procrastination Part II
1. Watch Re-Runs of One Tree Hill on Soap Network (Weekdays from 11-3 and weekends from 8-10). This show is seriously addicting and you will not be able to stop watching until they stop playing it.
2. https://www.stumbleupon.com/ a free website dedicated to finding random websites to waste your time.
3. Realize your hungry, then stand at the fridge for (x) amount of time until you decide what you should eat. Then realize that wasn't what you wanted and your still hungry. Repeat cycle.
4. Organize your closet by color and category. Depending on how much of a shopaholic you are this could take up a pretty large chunk of your day.
5. Look up vacations online that your never going to actually go on because lets face it, we are all broke college kids.
