Responses to "(Don't.) I'm begging you."
“And you do it so prettily.”
“Don’t do this to me. Don’t put me in this position.”
“Okay, okay.”
“Figures you’d put up a fight for this/them.”
“And I’m begging you.”
“I’m sorry.”
“If it’s that important to you…”
“I’ve heard you begging before, and this is not it.”
“Oh? Where was this energy before?”
“I overdid it, didn’t I? I was just messing around and-and… I’m sorry.”
“Do you think I want to do this?”
“Fine. I’ll think about it. No promises though.”
“Let’s hear it then.” “What?” “I want to hear you beg for me/this, [name]. Can you do that for me?”
“You’re so easy to rile up.”
“Oh yeah? What’s in it for me?”
“I didn’t think you’d care.”
“You really (don’t) want this?”
“I have to. (I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. …I love you.)”

Late Night Call Prompts
“One more night, and then you’ll finally be back in my arms.”
“Your last emergency call was you crying over not having any more sweets at your place, so excuse me for being distrustful.”
“I wish you were here with me.”
“Could you just… stay on the line? It’s weird having to fall asleep without you.”
A quick call to confirm that they got home safely.
“I know I said you could call me anytime, but… It’s the middle of the night.”
“You’ve been holding the phone to your ear this whole time?” “...Yes? How else would I have been able to talk to you?”
“You’re two rooms over. Why are you calling?”
“Pick up, pick up, pick up.”
“Now?”
“I know we said we’d take a break from us, but I miss you. You and your love for cacti and weird bedtime stories.”
“Take your fucking late-night calls elsewhere! I’m trying to fucking sleep here!”
“You pretending that cushion is me?” “Maybe I did. But then I had to realize that it’s a better cuddler than you are.”
“Sorry. I had my phone on silent.”
“We saw each other earlier. Why didn’t you tell me then?”
Getting a call from a hospital/police station/etc. late at night.
“Then why do you keep picking up?”
“You still there?” “Mhhhmmmm.”
“Did you really think you could run away from me, [name]? No, I will find you everywhere.”
“Can you– Can you pick me up? Please?”
“Let me get this straight: You’re calling me at 3 am, disrupting my beauty sleep on a workday, to ask me out?
“Are you alone?”
“I know it’s stupid, but I needed to hear your voice.”
Threatening to hang up on the other every time they mention something specific.
“What are you wearing right now?”
“Ugh. I knew it was a mistake to give you my number.”
“Why are you whispering?”
“...The only reason why I did pick up was because it’s you.”
“Are you seriously suggesting there are benefits to not sleeping next to me?” “You always steal my covers! I almost had forgotten what it feels like to sleep through the night, all sound and warm.”
“Call me cheesy or a fool, but I needed to wish you sweet dreams.”
“...I thought you forgot about me.” “I’m sorry. Today has been… a lot and I– I wish I could have called you sooner.”

"I'm weak for you." Prompts
“I’d do anything for you.”
“Ha. Don’t think too highly of yourself. Just because I crave your company every now and then, doesn’t mean you’re my weakness. You’re not.”
“I can’t control myself around you. Don’t even want to.”
“Fiiiiine. I’ll do it. For you. Just for you.”
“Why do you have to make keeping a distance from you so damn difficult? I’m trying my hardest and you just…”
“That was but a moment of weakness. Think nothing of it.”
“Having a weak spot for someone doesn’t equate to wanting to be with them. Those are two completely different things.”
“Why can’t I say ‘no’ to you?”
“It scares me to see how far I’m willing to go for you.”
“No, wait. Stay- Stay back. I need to think rationally.” “...What’s that got to do with me?”
“You just can’t stay away from me for too long, huh?”
“My knees have gone a bit weak. Do you mind holding me?”
“It’s like… You have this power over me, and I- I guess I’m wary of where it might lead.”
“I don’t care about anything but you.”
“No other person makes me feel both weak and strong.”
“Stop it. Can’t you see that staying away from you is torture for me too?”
“I’m weak for you.”
“You have me all wrapped around your finger.”
“I don’t want to scare you away with my… infatuation.”
“Right now I think you could probably talk me into anything.”
“You’ll be the death of me, [name].”
“You’re the only one I have opened up to like this.”
“Aren’t you at least a little ashamed of how blatantly you’re exploiting my feelings for you?”
“For you, I’ll take on any challenge.”
“(Fuck.) I need you to say that/make that sound again.”
“Just when I think you couldn’t make me go even weaker in the knees, you go and say stuff like that. Do you want me to collapse? Maybe melt into a puddle too while I’m at it?”

Like A Moth To A Flame Prompts
“Let’s not imagine the worst, okay? For all we know right now, they could be harmless. A light bulb instead of a flame.”
“I’m not good for you.”
“I just want to be close to you. As close as you allow me to be.”
“Fuck. I’m so attracted to you right now.”
“No! I’m not doing this to myself again.”
“You’re my light.”
“I know I should stay away from you, but I can’t.”
“We both know you’ll be back for more.”
“You’re self-destructing.” “I’m enjoying the moment. Ever heard of that?”
“I can’t resist you.”
“Have you forgotten how it all ended last time?”
“You’re obsessed with me.”
“Why did you have to come back? Why? I was doing so well without you.”
“Stop looking at me.” “I can’t. And I don’t think you want me to either.”
“They don’t make me feel the way you do.”
“So? Guide me. Help me see.”
“I’m clearly not strong enough to leave you in the past. (So, you do it. Please. Leave. Set me free.)”
“You have too much power over me.”
“I don’t want to hurt you, but I will. I will hurt you, [name].”
“I got burned one too many times.”
“The only thing left of our relationship, [name], is ash.”
“I can’t continue on giving you everything. I– I deserve more.”
“You’re dangerous.”
“I don’t want for this to end the same way it did last time.”
“You were always on my mind.”
“It’s… different. With them, I spent most of my time longing for something that wasn’t even accessible. With you, I simply feel alive.”
“I can’t seem to think straight around you.”
“I knew this would happen. I knew, and I still came back to you like the idiot that I am.”
“But what if we don’t burn alive? What if we just burn for each other? Isn’t that a possibility too?”

"You're rejecting me?" Prompts
“Have you ever wondered about - I don’t know… - what could have been had I not rejected you back then?”
“You’re rejecting me? Me? Do you not know who I am?”
“One of these days, I will stop trying.”
“Are you saying that you never got rejected before? Lucky.”
“I knew this would happen. Anytime I dare to dream - BAM! - it gets crushed.”
“I’ve never seen you taking a rejection so poorly before.”
“That was brutal.” “I was just being honest.” “Still. You didn’t have to be a jerk about it.”
“You already said it all when you rejected me back at the–” “Rejected you? What are talking about?”
“I take it back.” “What?” “My words. I take them back.”
“I don’t know what else to say or do for them to realize that there will never be anything between us.”
“I reject any and all realities where you don’t agree to give me - us - a chance.”
“You thought I was hitting on you? That’s just ridiculous.”
“I thought I could handle it, being around them after that. But… I don’t think I’m doing all too well.”
“I feel awful. Their face when I-” “You did the right thing by telling them that you feel differently.”
“Can I ask you a question? For future reference? What about my approach made you not want to get to know me?”
“It’s been weeks since–” “They trampled all over my heart? And my dignity?” “It’s time to get back up, don’t you think?”
“I’m not strong enough to say ‘no’ to them.”
“Nice. Another humiliation/rejection to add to the pile.”
“No, no. I do. Believe me, I do genuinely like you. It’s just… Ugh. This will sound like a lame excuse, but… I’m not yet ready. Not for you. Not for us.”
“I’m not afraid of getting rejected. I just… don’t want to bother them.”
“I… I don’t think I can give you that. I’m sorry.”
“So now that they rejected you, you think you can just come crawling back to me?”
“I completely understand if you need some space.”
“Why? Why do you think we wouldn’t work?”
“I would never reject you. Never.”
“Why would I keep chasing you? You already said you’re not interested.”
“Be honest with me: Am I a complete mess? Because that rejection just made me want them even more.”
“I’m going to pretend they are in a relationship and that that’s why they rejected me.”
“Damn. Bringing up my childhood trauma would have been less painful than this.”
“Are we going to be okay? I don’t want this to have changed anything between us.”
“Still. I’m glad I said something.”
“You deserve the best. And that’s… That’s not me.”
“You know what I think? I think you’re scared.”
“All good. You reciprocating would have been far scarier anyway, so I’m… almost glad you don’t.”

Meet Cute/Ugly Spring/Summer
A writes a message/draws something into the pollen on - what they assume is - their friend’s car when B appears and asks why they are touching their car.
A makes their garden presentable and runs into B over and over again in the same store. Seems like they too are picking out new plants/seeds.
A watches a (soccer/baseball/etc.) game, loudly encouraging their team while bashing the rivals. The stranger standing/sitting next to them turns out to be related to the one person they criticized/booed/etc. the most.
A ends up on a carnival ride with B, having been too preoccupied with their thoughts to notice that they’ve been mindlessly following a random stranger.
Allergy season causes A to tear up in public. A worried stranger approaches them and offers a tissue/their handkerchief.
Too caught up in a game with friends and focused on the ball/frisbee/etc., A walks right into someone’s laid-out picnic/falls over someone relaxing in the sun.
In the festival haze, A mistakes a stranger’s tent for their own.
A takes pity on B who is burying their friend’s lower half in the sand and offers a helping hand/to show them the right technique/to loan them a bucket.
Upon their return for the season, A, the undisputed Surf Champion in the area, discovers that someone new is now drawing everyone’s admiration.
The new neighbor overhauls their garden and one of the chopped down trees falls onto A’s flower bed/vegetable patch.
A stranger becomes A’s ‘savior’ when they lure away the ducks that previously cornered them. Apparently, they were hoping to be fed.
A stumbles upon that annoying cyclist that overtook them a while back after incessantly ringing their bell. Now, it seems they need help as they hurt themselves/have a flat tire/etc.
A returns and climbs back into the hammock they previously shared with their friend. Only, it’s a stranger lying there, looking back at them.
A gives up their spot in front of the stage by allowing B, who is shorter than them, to stand in front of them.
When an insect nears them, A jumps up in a panic and hurries away. B, who sat separately but nearby, does too and flees in the same direction as A.
A plucks a beautiful flower from a garden, realizing too late that the homeowner saw them.

Responses to "Careful, or I will fall for you."
“Careful, or I might catch you when you do.”
“I hear the landing is rough.”
“Oh, the horror.”
“Haha. Yeah… That would be bad.”
“Had I known you were this easy, I would have done that long ago.”
“If you haven’t already, I think we’re safe.”
“You’re jesting.” “...Yes.” “Good.”
“You’re just saying things.”
“That would be a long fall, I’m afraid. Not sure your heart could take it.”
“You've been threatening me with that for years now."
“Don’t expect me to do anything nice for you ever again.”
“That’s what gets you going?” “Hey. No judging."
“We always knew that day would come.”
“Rather sounds like you’d be enamored with what I have to offer, and not with… who I am.”
“With how clumsy you are, I’m surprised it hasn’t already happened.”
“How about you stop flirting with me and pay attention to your surroundings inste—?” “Ouch.”
“Please. You’re already halfway in love with me. Just admit it.”
“...Would that be so awful?”
“You’ll be fine. I’ll buy you some knee pads.” “Knee pads but no helmet?” “If you’re falling for me, you’ve already taken a hit to the head.”

Laundry Prompts
“It was either this or doing my laundry, so… Here I am.”
“This is neither the time nor the place to air out any dirty laundry.”
They find something in the other’s trouser pockets/etc. right before putting it into the washing machine.
“This is about as exciting as watching the washing machine spin.”
“I love you. But that first night spent sleeping on freshly washed bed sheets? Superior.”
“I found this in the washer. Is it yours?”
They are too lazy to do the laundry, so they decide to walk around naked instead.
“You’ve never done the laundry before?”
“Don’t tell me you’re going to throw the towel.”
“Did you accidentally climb into the washing machine and got spun around and around and around? Because that’s the only explanation I can find for all that gibberish you’re talking.”
“But I don’t want to do the laundry.”
“How did you do that?” “What?” “The folding thing. Takes me usually ten tries to make it look even somewhat okay, and you just…”
“Their kissing technique was reminiscent of a washing machine.”
They accidentally ruined the other’s clothes when washing them and are now afraid to tell them.
“You have more issues than there are clothes in the laundry basket. And I haven’t done the laundry in days.”
“Ugh. Did nobody ever teach you to throw your dirty clothes into the laundry basket?
“Sorry. It’s laundry day.”
They met someone in the shared laundry room of the apartment complex and now always dress up when doing their laundry. Of course, it is the one time they don’t that they run into the other once more.
“The clothes are going to smell badly if we leave them in the washer any longer.” “Hmmmm.” “We should probably get them.” “Hmmmm. Probably.”
“You’re ironing your underwear?”
“Don’t you think it’s too soon into our relationship to do the laundry together?”

"Is that a smile I spy?" Prompts
“Oh my god. You’re smiling!” “No, I’m not. Fuck off.”
“What? What’s with that smile?”
Try hard not to stare at the stunning (first) smile they see blossoming on the other’s lips.
“Why did they smile at you?”
“I can’t just smile on command.”
“Remember to smile every now and then, yeah? (We don’t want you to scare them all away.)”
“You’re so bad at this.” “I don’t know what you mean.” “The corners of your mouth. They are twitching.”
“You have the most beautiful smile, you know that?”
“I can’t stop smiling.”
Think their smile is ugly and try to hide it. The other is having none of it.
“I hate when you smile like that.”
“A smile a day keeps the doctor away.” “Yeah… I don’t think that’s how the saying goes.”
“Is that a smile I spy?”
Take on the (almost) impossible task to not break into a smile.
“Say cheese!”
“I just want(ed) to make you smile.”
Cover their emotions with a smile, hoping nobody will notice. The other, however, catches on (almost) immediately.
“You can’t even hide your smile. So, spill. Who is this mysterious person that makes you all giddy and insufferable?”
“Uh-oh.” “What’s wrong?” “That’s their ‘oh, you messed with the wrong bitch, bitch’ face.”
“Stop smiling.”
“A smile could go a long way.” (“Well, mine went all the way to [country] and is currently enjoying its vacation there. So, you’ll have to come up with a better plan/idea.”)
“One smile from them and they’ll be putty in their hands. Watch.”
Their fingers tenderly pull up the corners of the mouth of the other.
“It’s almost like you don’t know how to smile.”
As soon as the other leaves, their smile drops.
“You look like an idiot.” “You know, other people would say it’s nice to see me so happy. Or that I have a beautiful smile.”
“My face hurts.”
"That should wipe the smile off their face."
"Uh-oh. I know that smile."
“So you can smile!”
Cannot help but smile in response to the one already on the other’s lips.
“There it is, just the smile I was looking for.”
“Your smile is a knockout, baby!” “Why are you still standing then?”
“You look like you’re going to your doom instead of to a celebration/etc. Smile, for goodness sake.”
"You know very well what that smile of yours does to me."
“You just had to smile back at them, didn’t you?” “What else was I supposed to do? Ignore them?”
Feel the other smile against their lips/skin.
“I don’t like that smile.” “Then I doubt you’ll like what’s coming next.”

"All in." Prompts
“You’re it for me.”
“Fuck it. I’m in.”
“Too late. I’m already yours.”
“You know what your problem is? You never follow through.”
“For you, I’m willing to risk it all.”
“The world is going to hell anyway. Might as well add to the madness.”
“Not even you will be able to stop me.”
“I love you.”
“For once, I’m completely serious.”
“Maybe it will fail. Maybe it will ruin everything. But I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself if I didn’t at least try.”
“I want to know everything about you.”
“It’s you and me against the world, baby.”
“No, you weren’t. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have done this.”
“Count me in.”
“Nothing - no matter how weird or dark - could ever change the way I feel about you.”
“For now and the rest of our days, I’m yours. Completely. Irrevocably.”
“I’ll do everything to prove it to you.”
“I’m not going anywhere.”
“I don’t give a damn about the consequences.”

Schedule Prompts
“Am I just an appointment to you? Something you can simply tick off your list?”
Know the other’s schedule by heart (- which might lead to a few raised eyebrows and suspicious/teasing looks from other people).
“I barely see you anymore.”
“That wasn’t on my schedule.” “And you weren’t part of my life plan.”
“Could you drive [name] to school/etc. tomorrow/etc.?”
Pencil themself into the other’s schedule.
“My schedule unexpectedly freed up, so I thought… Why not visit my favorite person?”
“Don’t let me keep you. (You clearly have more important things to do than to talk to me. Your partner.)”
“I’m going to mark/put that in my calendar right now, lest I forget.”
“I know today is your free evening/etc. and I wouldn’t ask if… If I didn’t need your help.”
Since they know their partner/etc. is/should be occupied, they use the free time slot to prepare something for them/do something (they shouldn’t)/etc.
“Wouldn’t you rather spend your time living than planning out your every move?”
“Can it wait? I don't have time right now.”
“I know, I know. I’m a little behind schedule. But…”
“This is not supposed to happen. Not now. I have things to do. Things to take care of.”
Be stressed because they have fallen behind schedule. The other offers them some stress relief.
“We agreed on this weeks ago.” “Well, now, I’m not in the mood for it anymore.”
“Could we reschedule?”
Be stressed and annoyed because something (or someone) disturbed their schedule.
“Right on schedule. Like always.”
“I don’t want to hope for a gap in your schedule just to be able to see you.”
“We’re going to make the most of it, okay? Quality over quantity.”
Only truly realize how used they got to the other’s presence when their schedules don’t align/intertwine anymore.
“I’m canceling my plans/appointments. You’re more important.”
The weekly scheduled meeting with the other becomes the highlight of their week.
“I hate having to schedule dates with you.” “I know. Me too. Yet it’s better than not being able to see each other at all.”

Flower Prompts
“Did you pick them out yourself?”
Stumble upon a dried flower in their partner’s book/private stuff. (One, that looks vaguely familiar. Is that the one they gave them for their first date?)
Wonder if bringing flowers to the date is too much.
“I’ve never received any before.”
“What did you do?” “What?” “You only ever give me flowers when you have something to confess. So, shoot. I'm listening.”
Know the other is well versed in the language of flowers, and spend hours trying to pick out the right one for them.
Put a flower in the other’s hair.
“What’s not to like about flowers?”
Gift the other flowers they are allergic to.
Only realize this is a date and not just a normal hangout when the other gives them flowers.
“You spoil me.”
“You need to buy a vase.” “Why? This does perfectly fine.” “For now, sure. But what if I wanted to give you flowers every single day from now on?”
“Let me get this straight: You broke into [name]’s garden to pick some of their award-winning flowers for me? How are you still alive?”
Only realize how meaningful the flowers gifted to them are when the other explains why they picked those specific ones.
“They love me, they love me not,...”
See a vase of flowers at the other’s place and wonder if someone else gave them to them.
“Flowers make me sad.”
Stare at a vase of flowers, gifted to them by the other just hours/etc. before their argument/breakup.
Receive a flower bracelet/crown made by the other.
“Do you give all your dates flowers?”
Place a flower on a casket.
“Did I forget our anniversary (again)?”
Receive gifts from an anonymous admirer. First a vase, then a new flower every day.
Walk into a room that has flower petals strewn all over the floor.
“They smell almost as good as you do.”
“Don’t read too much into it. It’s just a flower. It doesn’t mean anything.”
Date someone who, contrary to them, does not have even a single plant in their apartment/etc.
They imagined lying in a flower field with their partner/etc. to be more romantic than it truly is.
“For something half dead, flowers sure are expensive.”
Think the other wanted to express something specific to them with their flower choice. Turns out, they simply thought they looked nice.
“What’s your favorite flower?” “Huh? Why?” “One of these days, somebody might want to surprise you with some.” / ”No reason,” only for them to receive some a few days later.

"Together." Prompts
“You and me, together for the rest of our lives. How does that sound?”
“You can count on me.”
“It’s none of my business, but… Are you guys okay? It’s been a while since I last saw you together.”
“You already are a handful. Together, you guys are insufferable.”
“Together? As in ‘you and me’ together?”
“We’re a package deal.”
“It’s just me. And you.”
“Just to clarify: We are in a relationship, right?”
“Without me?”
“I’ll go with you.”
“We started this together, and we’ll end it together.”
“I’m here.”
“We’re in this together.”
“I can’t imagine life without you.”
“You’re practically glued to each other’s side.”
“Us? There is no us.”
“I could always use your help.”
“Oh? Do we have the honor of catching you alone today? It’s been a while since that last happened.”
“Together?” “Together.”
“You won’t get rid of me so easily.”
“Let’s do it together.”
“Those rumors about us are getting annoying. How many times do we have to tell them we aren’t together?”
“No, I mean… Just you and me.”
“I’m glad it’s you I get to/had to experience that with.”
“But we share everything.”
“We go together like Bert and Ernie. A pair of socks. Or vegemite and oreos.”

Dreams & Nightmares Prompts
“Daydreaming about me?”
“Want to talk about it?”
“Shh. I’m here. I’m here.”
Have a nightmare concerning the other and be worried it might come true.
“In your dreams.”
“They dreamt of you last night.”
Wake up because the other kicks/moves/screams during their sleep.
“That’s one disturbing dream. Are you sure you’re okay?”
Be woken up by the other and immediately realize they once again had a nightmare.
“I had the weirdest dream last night.”
Have a recurring dream. Surely, it doesn’t mean anything. …Right?
“I’ll watch over your dreams.”
“What do you think it means?”
“You never dream?!”
Be mad at the other for something they did in a dream.
“Is this a dream?”
“Need/Want me to show you how real I am/this is?”
They never dream - or maybe they do and never remember it. Last night, however, they did. They dreamt and remembered.
“Could you stay up with me/here? Just for a little while?”
“I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fall asleep again.”
Lose the other in a nightmare, and cling to them when they awake.
“This is a nightmare.”
“What can I do to make you feel better?”
Well, looking up what their dream apparently means does not make them feel any better.
“Last time I did, I had nightmares for weeks.”
Have trouble facing the other after having dreamt of them.
“What?” “Nothing. It’s just… The dream partner you just described sounds a lot like…”
“That’s the stuff of nightmares right there.”
“Sorry for waking you up.”
Be reluctant to fall asleep because real life feels like a dream. A blissful one. What if it is just that and they’d ruin it all by falling asleep?
“You look terrible. Did you even sleep last night?”
“Please tell me that dreaming about this is normal.”
The dream is so nice that they don’t want to wake up.
“Sweet dreams.”
“I’m going to be/turn into your worst nightmare.”
Frequently have nightmares until they fall asleep next to the other.
“I might be able to help you make it come true if you tell me.”
“You’re safe.”
“As much as I love you, you are a nightmare (to deal with) when it comes to that.”
The other murmurs/does something while asleep. Does it mean anything? Should they wake them up? Should they ask them about it?
“Not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined someone as wonderful as you.”

Secrets Prompts
Keeping this secret should have been a good thing. Instead, it hurts/threatens to ruin them.
“Everyone hides stuff.”
“You lied to me.”
“You’ve been oddly secretive lately.”
“I knew it!”
To keep something from the other, they go to great lengths.
“You can/could tell me.”
“I didn’t know how to tell you/how you’d react.”
“You need to trust me. Please.” “How can I when you kept this from me for years? Years, [name].”
Put a hand over the other’s mouth/Shoot the other a warning glare when they start to reveal the secret.
“I want to tell you. I really do. But I can’t.”
“Admit it. You secretly like it.”
“Tell me! Tell me, tell me, tell me. Pleeease.”
“Promise me that nothing will change [when you know]. Promise me.”
“Subtlety isn’t your strong suit, is it?”
“So you don’t trust me?” “No! … I mean, I do. I do trust you. It’s just that…”
“You’re making me nervous, being secretive like that.”
“Don’t take this the wrong way, but I wouldn’t tell you even if…”
“What are you doing?” “Nothing!”
They are good at sniffing out other people’s secrets. For some reason, however, they can’t figure the other out. What are they hiding?
“I’m tired of being your secret.”
“Were you hiding (that) from me?”
“Your secret is safe with me.”
“Wait. That’s it? That’s your big secret?”
“That’s no a secret. (Everyone knows.)”
“You had no right to tell them!”
“You’re my secret weapon.”
They already know the other’s secret but wait patiently for them to trust them with it.
“I can keep a secret. Sometimes.”
“That’s a secret. For now.”
“I’ve made no secret of the fact that…”
“Spill.”
“I should have known you’d tell them.”
“No more secrets.”
They try hard to keep the secret. They really do. (But now, they feel like they might burst if they don’t talk about it.)
“I know your secret.”
“Thanks. I needed to get that off my chest.”
“Why did you feel the need to keep that to yourself?”
“You should/could have told me.”
“I’m glad we’re honest with each other.” “...Right. Same.”
“The secret to a great relationship/success/etc. is–” “No offense, but do you really think you are an expert in that field?”
The person they trust the least knows their darkest secret.
“I wouldn’t keep that from you.”
“Do you really think that - if it were true - they/I would have been able to keep it a secret for this long?”
“I want to unravel you and discover all your secrets.”

"Hold my hand." Prompts
Reach for the other’s hand. “Let me hold that for you.”
Wear gloves to hide their hideous hands and only take them off if they truly trust the other and want to feel their warmth/skin.
See that the other’s hand trembles and reach out to hold it.
“You look like someone who wants to hold my hand.”
Platonic handholding that… doesn’t feel completely platonic.
“I guess we have to hold onto each other for this part.” “…” “Believe me, I don’t like it any more than you do.”
“I’m right here.”
Hands brushing against one another until fingers intertwine.
Secret hand holding (e.g. underneath the table).
“Do you want to hold my hand?”
Swinging the arm while holding hands.
Refusing to part with the other, holding their hand for as long as they can.
“Sorry. They are a bit sweaty/cold/etc.”
Recognize the other by how their hand feels in theirs.
Doing stuff while still holding the hand of the other is difficult, yet, as it turns out, not impossible.
“Awww. Do you need me to hold your hand?” “Shut up.”
See partner/crush/etc. hold hands with someone (else).
“Let me warm them for you.”
Grabbing someone’s hand as they move away.
Always hoped the other would initiate body contact. Yet when they finally do, it’s rather… unsatisfying.
“Hold my hand.” “?” “Just do it. (…Please?)”
A quick squeeze of the hand before they pull away.
Want to hold the other’s hand for comfort but restrain themself because they are aware that the other doesn’t like PDA.
Move through the crowd while holding hands so as to not lose one another – and not letting go afterwards.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have.” “No, it’s fine. I… liked it.”
Turning a kiss on the back of the hand/cleaning the other’s fingers/admiring their nail polish/etc. into handholding in a single fluid movement that momentarily stops the heart.
Subconsciously reach out to the other (, only to pull the hand back at the last moment).
“I’ll (even) hold your hand(s) if that’s what it takes.” (“Who knew you were such a romantic?”)
