We're just 2 weeks away from the release of The Menagerie! To thank everyone for the amazing support, I'm doing a spicy art print giveaway!

There will be 5 winners of a set of five 6"x9" art prints from scenes from the book (previews shown above).

life has settled, it has slowed down. so, they find themselves going back. reconnecting. redoing. revisiting the place that saw their love bloom. where they played little league, shotgunned beers, tried to fight the butterflies in their bellies. where they fought and cried, reunited and loved. all of it lives here, under the bleachers. they make sure to come back now. every year. making up for lost time. spreading a blanket out, sharing a cigarette, and waiting for the sun to set. every year adding more and more memories to this place that saw them grow.

Galladrabbles #172 - Panic

Hi @michellemisfit thank you thank you for this week’s @galladrabbles prompt. You all know I love an anxious Mickey so this was perfect for me

He doesn’t get panic attacks much anymore, but when they do hit, they hit hard.

His chest tightens, his heart races, his hands shake and his palms sweat. His eyesight goes blurry and his hearing gets fuzzy and no amount of rational thought can pull him out of it.

It’s been nice having Ian by his side through them. Even if there’s nothing he can really do about, just having him there is a little grounding.

Ian presses Mickey’s hand to his chest, and Mickey feels the rise and fall of his breath, tries to match it with his own.
