Hey gang about the oc x canon I have created, it's name is either ochomari or 'mochi' idk yet.

Lore drop?

Mari and Ocho were old rivals in the octarian army, Mari getting one rank above ocho, as ocho was elite rank 008, and Mari was elite rank 007. They both wanted to get to the surface, so ocho came up with the bright idea of stealing maris plan and escaping on his own!

After a few years or whatever, they met again in Splatsville after ocho decided to call mari out like he was a superfan, kinda like the sound

"OH MY GOD IS THAT TALIA MM2 FROM TIKTOK"

but instead it was:

"OH MY COD IS THAT ELITE RANK AGENT 007 FROM THE OCTARIAN ARMY?"

and they got in a little bit of a fight. They're on the same team sorta for a few years and Ocho is making it his mission to annoy her or whatever. he knows fine well Mari isn't exactly used to affections, and he uses it to his advantage.

I came up with some Splatsvilles best 8 / hierarchy headcanons! But this is ICE SKATING EDITION?!

Mitsuami

• she would be a chronic wall hugger

• tried to take the blade off of the skates to store with her scrap metal

• tried holding barreleyes hand when coming off the wall and fell, bringing poor barreleye with her..

Horn helmet

• Same as mitsuami, but a lot more vocal

• fell once and got her horns stuck in the ice

•laughs at little kids falling and proceeds to fall too.

Barreleye

• Can actually skate, not a profeshional, but can skate!

• He crashed into a kid once. He got hurt more than the kid did, somehow.

• his skates are a mess because he tried to paint on them and it failed miserably.

Shellmet

• figure skater! Has her own skates.

• flexes that she can easily do spins, much to hornmets displeasure.

• has won a competition or two

• tried to teach the best eight/hierarchy, wireglasses being the worst because he didn't listen. His excuse was "I don't listen to the weak." Or something along those lines.

Shady

• Can skate, but is a little wobbly

• he keeps crashing into everyone because he isn't allowed his scope on the ice, and therefore can't see too well.

• doesn't trust being in the same rink as wireglasses or 8-bit...

8-Bit

• ATTEMPTS to speed skate.

• Belly-slid the full length of the rink once (a few times really..) after falling.

• during said belly slide, she knocked over a total of 17 people. This is becoming a regular occurrence. 8-bit's excuse for that is "they shouldn't have been slacking and should've expected it!"

Ocho

• refuses to go near the wall because of his pride (despite the fact he CLEARLY needs it..)

• actually listened to shellmets coaching, but he had to hold her hand the full way around the rink because he just couldn't get the hang of it.

• when skating, he kept repeating "I won't fall because I'm strong! The ice is weak! And the weak are silent! I'm not silent!" He was infact not silent. He screamed when he fell. Twice.

Wireglasses

• CANNOT SKATE FOR THE LIFE OF HIM, BUT HES SO CONFIDENT. His confidence gives off the illusion that he's great at ice skating, somehow.

• pushes people over, laughs, tries to skate off, and falls immediately after.

• shockingly doesn't have any major injuries from how much and how violently he falls. Wireglasses is probably only still living out of spite.

(Also I know a lot of the dialogue is something the hierarchy would say BEFORE the aftermath of wireglasses battle, but a HC for the majority is that they still say things like that but a little less maliciously?? If that makes sense. ALSO CREDS FOR @myshirtis0nbackwards FOR DEALING W ME WHEN WE WENT ICE SKATING AND HELPING ME COME UP W THESE HCS)

Here's some of my ocho headcanons nobody asked for.

• loves making bets, specifically ones where "the loser comes shopping with him" AKA, hold his shopping bags and maybe go to one shop you want. Ocho shops until YOU drop.

• VERY overdramatic. He did higher/A level drama.

• super impatient. Five minutes is like five business days to him.

• not good with tech at all despite being in the octarian army.

• chronic gym-goer.

• cries at movies.

• is a mic stealer in karaoke.

• irritatingly funny.

• is a pro at chubby bunny challenge.

• gets very drunk in drinking games out of pure spite/competitiveness to the point he literally has to get someone to drag his heavy ass home.

• LANKY BUT HEAVY.

• blanket hogger.

• has been knocked out by a punching bag while training more than once.

• INSANE vocal range. Ochoana grande who?

• has a chronic stuttering problem when trying to insult someone.

• has NO NOISE CONTROL when drunk.

• normally playfully punches people's shoulders, but when drunk or hyper, the punch is BASICALLY fatal.

• chronically snores. It actually rattles the room.

• walked around for a full day with a black label attached to his shoe without even knowing until someone asked him who he lost to.

• accidentally charismatic.
