Ranting about Morgan again because the latest episode made me mad. (Spoilers)

Hiii, it's Tumblr's number 1 Morgan Freeman fan again (not that one). You don't know it yet but I am it's true I think about her an abnormal amount for a character that's got less screentime than Agent Schmegan. Just finished the latest episode and it was hilarious and emotional and all those good things great job guys. BUT I'm still genuinely so disappointed and a little mad at the fact that Morgan was so overlooked this episode (s2 ep 45).

In an episode that was primarily about her family, Morgan was mentioned twice. 1. In reference to Glenn and Jodie's feud over her, and 2. At the end when she showed up defeated and in handcuffs Great acknowledgement of her existence as Glenn's partner and Nicky's mother and Taylors grandmother etc etc etc! /sarc

We've had two opportunities now in season two to see what Nicky and Morgan's relationship is like and to see her interact with her grandson, and neither time did the cast think to include her in the family dynamics. Back in her first s2 appearance she literally didn't acknowledge her grandson at all, not a single greeting to Taylor. I don't get it does she just suck?? Has she been a shitty mom this whole time or something?? So much is going on in the Close/Foster/Freeman family tree and Morgan has no thoughts on any of it I guess.

You'd think that after how integral she was to Glenn and Nicky's stories in season 1 it'd be, you know, a really big deal that she's back now and not dead and part of the family as we the audience know it. But nah, she's just a thing for two men to fight over now.

I genuinely don't know what Anthony is thinking, how he could go through all of those flashback scenes and not think to mention where Morgan might have been during the birth of her grandson or after?? I know this podcast is about dads but Jesus Christ even Jodie got a passing mention where is Grandma Morgan???
