With all that is going on, I would like to share some positivity & gratitude. My Spring was very productive/successful. I was chosen to be a PM for the XR Showdown at The Ion Houston working with ExxonMobil. My team & I were able to accomplish winning in several categories, even taking home the most coveted award, Best Overall Project. Sadly, Corona came and created some setbacks. However, I turned that energy around & won a dozen awards in various Digital media categories & finished my degree at the top of my #ClassOf2020 #SummaCumLaude Also, during this time I finished 2 Albums, in Production on 2 others, Collaborated on a VR multiplayer Party Game, Re-Scored a TV show scene, Composed Music/SFX for several video games, & wrote 9+ pieces of sync music for a syndicated series. You can let the negative slow you down, or you can let it motivate you to work harder. I never let anything stop me from being a juggernaut & neither should you. If I can come from where I did, get to where I am, graduate a 5 year degree in 2 years, you can get back to grinding. #oneofthegreatest of all time. This part got me today 😢 #neilpeart as many hard working and driven young drummers, I had aspriations of being one of the best drummers in the world when I was coming up. I always believed if I ever wanted to being considered in that conversation, I had to follow in his giant steps. He was the drummer that I practiced several hours a day (specifically this album signals and moving pictures) he was the biggest influence in my journey and set the bar of what an amazing, technical and most importantly musical drummer was (not to mention intriguing lyricist). through his amazing career and work he pushed so many drummers to heights may otherwise not have been seen without him. This man changed drumming and music forever.
