In the slow but steady lead up to Honeyden’s release I’ve been feeling really emotional, nostalgic and reflective. The first songs for this album were written three years ago so I’ve been reflecting on everything that’s changed since then which is surprisingly quite a lot. In honor of that, I’ll be posting some memories on IG from the time between when Honeyden was first coming into being and the very fast approaching date in which the world will hear it. Endlessly grateful for all our kind friends that have given their time to listen to the things we make.

Had a late start in the morning, in an effort to squeeze in some extra quality time with friends in Boise Idaho. Drove to Cedar City Utah, listening to the radio and generally feeling happy and good. Made it to Cedar City just in time for the show, didn’t even bother changing out of my comfy driving clothes. The Basement was a literal basement but I found it was filled with warm and friendly people and even though I had broken my looper pedal (it fell out of my trunk as I was loading in) and there was a hard curfew that needed to be abided by, the night was like a very brief but very cozy hug with an old friend on a very cold night.
