#reblog#responding to prev tags#yes!!!! sorta#still workshopping the story but#after getting lost in the outskirts of semi-rural southern europe. lady agnes (another oc) stumbles upon a hotel#it kinda takes the appearance of a vintage slash Victorian style hotel. lots of reds and golds#after staying for a while. lady agnes realizes that the hotel has other residents. spirits ghosts and yokai-like creatures roam the winding#halls and corridors. doors sometimes lead to nowhere or loop into the same room#and when she tries to leave#she realizes that the outside world isnt the same as when she had left.#the hotel is like a volitile. ever changing/moving entity or place that never stays in place for too long. blinking into reality in-#different realities and worlds. lady agnes just happened to stumble upon the hotel with pure luck#and once she realizes she cant go back. she makes due and tries to care for the hotel. while also trying to find a way home#trelawny is the head bellhop/caretaker of the hotel and has been 'taking care of it' ever since it's previous owner left#he's able to manage to running the front desk. cleaning. sorting. but due to the hotel\s unstable nature he can only do so much#jiangshi is the second and only bellhop besides trelawny. and while his origins are unclear he's said to follow the commands of the-#previous owner. but since he's gone. jiangshi is kinda just.. there. he responds to the ring of a bell and the talisman reanimates his-#body so that he can move. hes kinda like a mix between an actual jiangshi and the western depiction of a zombie because i love both hehe#trelawny is also fun in that he's a 'demi-human' or something of that nature. he's able to disguse himself as a human. which is why-#lady agnes doesn't notice that he is a fox when he assigns her a room#i'll wrap it up. but lady agnes is appointed the new owner of the hotel after being (sorta) convinced by trelawny to take reigns of-#the establishment. so she does her best to try and restore the hotel to it's former glory. while also trying to find a way home#ANYWAYS. sorry for the wall of text i love them tehe
