done today:

- finished english part 4 (not submitted because no internet remember)

- took notes for maths

- started and am now speedrunning a weeks worth of russian homework because its due today and i literally had my first class yesterday but its still due

after school (which starts in like an hour but i need to leave home in half an hour) i plan to:

- study for engineering prefferably by yapping to someone

- study german (by study german i mean watch tv in german lmao)

i have decided to make an exception, and that i can use my wifi to do some schoolwork at home just because otherwise i’ll get behind stuff. maybe. i dunno.

ok well i havent been to the library or school today, so im technically cheating by being on here but oh well

completed 3 chapters of math work

finished my HSIE module I was working on (I had to write an essay)

Hey so, today was an absolute hell. It consisted of the schedule I like to call Eat -> Study -> Do Chores -> Repeat, but for all day. As if that wasn't weird enough on its own, there's plenty of accusations circulating that they made the song using AI, given the bizarre choice of using an American accent in the song, and it's been pointed out that the cover art is parodying a Drake album cover which isn't exactly someone you want to be aligning yourself with in a rap battle right now.

(yesterday)

I did not to any homework todayyyy 🥲🥲🥲. however, i did physical activity for the first time in like ever so be proud of me. i practiced hockey (in of which, i got my siblings to just throw and hit hockey balls at me and i had to do goalie things), and later, i went on a ✨ run ✨. sure, it was literally a 5 minute run, sure, i felt like throwing up afterwards, but its better than nothing. I read part of that book too, so all in all i’d SAY it was a successful day, but no work done.

To Do Tomorrow:

bake some things for my dad

go on another run 🏃‍♀️

do some chinese study

I've been feeling so sick the past like, 3 days so I was just home alone while my siblings went out with our other sibling and my mum went to work. I had a sudden urge to read about the current state of affairs in Australia, so even though I was sick, my ass decided to walk 30 minutes to the library, pick out 10 heavy books, and walk the 30 minutes home, carrying said books. It's like 16.00 now, and scrolling on Rednote sure makes me motivated to study. My to-do list [study wise] for the rest of this week is to study for Engineering, finish my English work, finish my HSIE work, and grind out all the maths for next term and then some. As well as that, I want to hang out with my friends [@hpfreckles @gay-of-hearts42 at some point i'd love to know like, the day we'll be hanging out - heids for a sleepover and ruby for escaping murder <3]

Exam Season Resolutions

I'm so grateful that we have the Easter holidays AND study leave before exams, but the lack of structure worries me that I'll slip into bad habits. To try to prevent that, I've written a list of resolutions and I'm posting it to keep me accountable. Hopefully this goes well!

Always be in bed by 23.30 and awake by 07.30, no excuses - get into a good sleep routine.

No more than 2 caffeinated drinks daily.

Energy drinks only in emergencies.

Do not exceed 1 hour of TV daily.

Try to stop bedroom from becoming chaos - quick tidy every night before bed.

Wash hair every 2-3 days at the very least.

If ever miss a task on study plan, do not ignore - reshuffle to complete at a later date.

Even i if don't study at all, post daily to pressure myself.

If anyone else is in a similar situation, feel free to use this list! We can keep each other motivated.
