Throwback Thursday: It was 5 years ago when we were celebrating award season for The Shape Of Water, and I got to live my dream of being in an old musical dance number (dressed as an Amphibian Man, of course) with the amazing Sally Hawkins.

Baron Afanas is such self esteem and attitude goals. He was accidentally charred down to basically a torso, arm, and head. Buried in the ground, thought dead. Came back in said form. Still lived his best life. Started his own family with The Sire and Hellhound. Got a cute house in the woods. Was wished back into full form, looking better than ever. Didn't let it go to his head. He is so approachable. And he gives advice. He is everything!

40th Anniversary
40 years ago today, the lovely Mrs. Laurie married me, and I’ve been trying to convince her what a mistake she made ever since. But she stuck around and is the kindest, most patient, forgiving, good-humored, angelic, loving human I’ve ever known, and I’m truly blessed to live life with her.

Bless the What We Do in the Shadows writers for finally allowing Doug Jones to be a hot monster without layers of prosthetic. He is UNLEASHED in this episode.

Pan's Labyrinth, El Laberinto del Fauno (2006) fan art.
Pretty sure is my favorite Guillermo del Toro movie.
