Oh, to be a famously eccentric horror author who vanishes without a trace, leaving behind nothing but a mysterious box of tapes—
and to have a deeply skeptical detective reluctantly take on the case, scoffing at every recording... until, piece by piece, he begins to realize my disappearance was anything but ordinary.

In 2005, Anna Sheridan released her first book: a collection of short stories secretly inspired by her own experiences with the supernatural, entitled “Anathema."
In 2018, Anna Sheridan disappeared under mysterious circumstances in Oslow County, Nevada.
In 2020, Anna Sheridan reappeared just as mysteriously.
In 2025, a set of enigmatic VHS tapes began to circulate within Sheridan’s fandom, with many claiming they were an unreleased, unauthorized TV adaptation of “Anathema.”
These are those very tapes, and the stories of the unfortunate souls who watched them.
TST: Anathema is a 12 episode horror anthology series and loose continuation/spin-off of The Sheridan Tapes, focusing on a new set of characters and stories within the shared universe of Homestead on the Corner. We are currently seeking writers, directors, and sound designers to create five standalone horror stories inspired by the world and tone of The Sheridan Tapes, but presented as in-universe works of fiction. Each of these stories will be split into two parts, with a prologue and epilogue framing story focused on the people viewing the tapes: an Anna Sheridan fan club at a small community college in the PNW. As this is an anthology series, we are looking for a wide range of tones, sub-genres, and subjects, and to elevate new voices in the Homestead on the Corner universe.
Submissions are open to everyone regardless of experience or prior work with Homestead, so if you’d like to be a part of the team, please submit to the appropriate Google Form by midnight PST on September 5th, 2025. More information and links to the forms can be found at homesteadonthecorner.com/anathema.
