“Anywhere but here!” Harry shouted as he continued to run. Rounding a corner he stopped for a moment to catch his breath “I’ve lost Ron & Hermione. Do you know where your parents are?” He asked looking towards her.

Open Starter - Riot

Sweat began form on Harry’s forehead as he ran through the campsite. Ten minutes ago he had been joking about with Ron and the rest in their tent and now he was running for his life. Harry had lost sight of Hermione and Ron not long after leaving the tent after her was carried away in the massive crowds of fleeing people.

Breaking free from the crowd he spotted someone familiar “Come on!” He shouted “We need to get out of here!”

Lavender was panicking and didn’t know where to go. She’d lost her parents in all of the madness, and the next thing she knew Harry was running towards her. She’s never been overly close to the boy, but at the moment that didn’t matter. “But where should we go?” Lavender replied, unsure if anywhere was safe at the moment. She still wasn’t entirely sure what was going on.

“I mean he’s only the best quidditch player out there” Harry said with a smile. “Ron thinks he is brilliant, all he talks about is his form and skill. To be fair to Ron he’s not wrong, Krum is a genius”

“It will be great to get back to Hogwarts, I only hope this year isn’t as eventful as last.” Harry said with a sigh.

“It’s going to be a tough match but I think Bulgaria might do it” Harry said with a smile. “I think Ron is actually in love with Viktor Krum! It’s all he can talk about. Take some advice from me don’t bring him up in conversation, he will never shut up if you do” He said laughing.

Harry took a couple of steps to the side narrowly avoid some more of the Irish fans. “It’s crazy to think it nearly time to head back to Hogwarts, are you looking forward to going back?”

“What’s so great about Krum?” Lavender asked, raising an eyebrow at the boy. She was kind of interested to know why Ron was so obsessed with the man. Was it just because he was a good player, or something else? Lavender was pulled from her thoughts when she heard Harry speak once more. “Yeah, I am looking forward to seeing everyone. How about you?”

“I don’t care” Harry replied without a moments hesitation. Harry started to shuffle in his step as he grew more and more uncomfortable in the situation.

“Just trying to make small talk, you know all Gryffindors and Slytherins don't always have to hate each other” He said keeping his distance.

Returning the smile to his fellow Gryffindor, Harry walked over to stand beside Lavender. “It’s crazy..I mean I’ve never seen anything like this before.”

“When did you arrive?” Harry asked looking at his friend “Are you excited for the big game later on?”

“I’ve been to a couple of concerts that were insane, but nothing that has been this intense.” Lavender replied, sending Harry a nod. “I got here earlier today and my parents are around here somewhere.” She added, smiling at him once more. “Well, you know me. I care more about the whole exciting atmosphere than I do the game. Who do you want to win?”

Harry stood for a minute as we he watched his friends pile into this tiny tent. “How on earth as we all going to fit in there” He thought to himself as the tent opening flapped in the wind.

Taking a couple of step forwards Harry slowly opened the cover and was amazed with the size of the tent inside that greeted him. “I will never get tired of magic” he said hurrying after Hermione “So.. what should we get up to first?” he said smiling

After Mr Weasley finally cleared Harry’s confusion about where they were Harry looked around the scene in front of him beaming with excitement. He could hardly believe his luck, just a few minutes ago they were standing on top of a hill looking at some manky old boot and now they were at the Quidditch world cup!

Harry gazed up into the sky watching the quidditch players zoom in and around the campsite and the people. The atmosphere throughout was amazing and before Harry knew what was happening he was following Mr Weasley towards what looked to be a rather small tent.

“No Hermione…I cant quite believe this..” Harry said with a beaming smile.

Hermione smiled back and opened her mouth to discuss the spectacle of the cup further but shut it just as quickly, as Mr.Weasley opened the flap of the small tent and ushered them inside. She cocked her sideways in confusion before looking back at Harry and stepping forward. She assumed there had to have be magic involved in this set up, but based off the interaction they had with the camp sites caretaker, she held doubts. Going against her doubts she followed Ginny inside.

 “Come on, Harry!” she called out.

The wizarding world never ceased to amaze Harry. One minute you are a top of a hill looking at an old boot the next you are at the quidditch world cup. The initial excitement had calmed down slightly and Harry was taking a walk through the campsite to soak up the atmosphere.

Everyone one was in such high spirits you would forget there were teams battling in out against each other to be crowned the quidditch world cup champions. Rounding a corner Harry spotted a familiar face “Enjoying the  atmosphere?” He asked with a smile.

Growing up in a prueblood household meant she came to stuff like this all the time . Events like this were the only time pansy was ever seen with her parents who she figure out they just keep her because she was their only child. At the moment she was away from her mother and father when potter of all people came up to her . “And tell me why should i tell you ? Did you forget who i was or something ? ”

Realizing his error Harry immediately dropped his smile and took a couple of paces back “Pansy” Harry said “I almost didn't recognize you.”

Harry took a quick look around the scene to see if anyone was watching, the last thing he wanted was to cause a scene among all these people. “Keeping out of trouble I hope” Harry said glancing towards Pansy

Lavender was amazed by everything around her, and was trying hard to soak it all in. She grew up in the Wizarding world but there was still something extra magical about the World Cup. She was on her way back to see her parents when she noticed Harry nearby. Sending the famous boy a smile, she nodded. “Everything is a little insane. I mean there are so many people here.”

Quidditch World Cup || Starter

Hermione could not help the quizzical look that spread across her face, as she journeyed further into the campgrounds. The Quidditch world cup was truly a sight to behold. 

Spread across the misty moor was thousands of tents, each more flamboyant and extravagant than the last, adorned in colors of green and red. It was no wonder the ministry had trouble keeping the sites muggle caretaker in the dark. Every wizard here was failing spectacularly to remain inconspicuous.

Hermione’s quiet bemusement at the sight around her slowly developed into laughter, as she finally came upon a village of tents that resembled a small hillside. Hundreds of small shamrocks covered the outermost tarp like overgrown moss.

“can you believe this” she asked incredulously.
