I'm not usually a fan of showers over baths, mainly because they are generally ugly and take up a lot of space... This one mightn't be a partially good use of space, but I'd happily take it!

The Goliath Extendable table is a great piece of design for people that need flexibility in their dining space. Particularly for apartments, where a permanent dining area is generally not feasible.

A great piece of architecture! I’d love to make the rooftop a bit of a balcony/outdoor area, but otherwise a great thought out design!

Probably not the most efficient use of space by having the end on the extendable table, but a great looking piece of design!

Standing desks have now become a new in thing - and for good reason, there are plenty of health related benefits to them. What I love about this particular standing desk (Ninja Standing Desk - http://www.ninjastandingdesk.com/index.html), is that it’s modular, low profile and easy to pack up. With a few hanging points, you could quickly hang up a desk, setup you’re mobile office (laptop and keyboard/mouse) and be working away efficiently and healthily in no time! Perfect for the tiny apartment where even a fold away desk would be restrictive. You could store this desk away in your cupboard or even under the bed or couch!

This is the video that inspired me to change my way of living. Whilst there was a huge financial commitment done to make this all work, the concepts taken from it have inspired me to pursue a whole new mentality of what space can be.

Desk beds are the ultimate in form and function. For a small sacrifice in room depth, you can gain a dual purpose room without compromise. Top tip would be to add in built in robes around the bed to create a seamless surround for better space utilization and aesthetics.

Books are now becoming less relevant in modern homes with the event of ebooks, ereaders and tablets. But for many, books, especially those that you've accumulated over the years are something you want to store and show off. Book cases take up lots of space, but a high level one such as this can keep the room open and uncluttered, and actually improve the feel by providing some colour and character.
