i’ve recently been more active in a discord and actually talking OCs with others and talking about marisol and being excited about her

and! people! actually comment and put her in situations!! and talk about world building with me and adding to my headcanon for her????

i’ve never actively talked OCs with anyone outside of my sisters, or been active in fandom in that specific way and 😭🥺

i understand why people RP now and i just…it’s just been so nice to gush about and make dumb jokes about mine and others blorbos

The Dress - Serena de Riva & Lucanis Dellamorte

There was a dress that showed up on my dash that I thought would be perfect on a Crow. I've wanted to draw it on Serena for awhile but I'm too focused on other art ideas. Luckily, @thimblings was available and I felt her style was perfect for what I had in mind. She did an amazing job!! I'm super happy with what she came up with. I love everything about this!

quick note under the cut about potentially opening up comms under the cut

based on me reblogging art that i've drawn but other people have posted you may have notice i've been experimenting with taking on some commissions. right now it's limited to people i'm in a discord with (just because i wasn't sure if i'd get overwhelmed and wanted to keep the sample size small)

right now my sample list and waitlist is filled up, but afterwards...depending on if i still feel like it's something i can take on, i might make a non-re-bloggable post (so it's less likely to breach containment lol) with what i'm currently comfortable with taking on + prices.

i'm considering opening up them up to mutuals on here before that? so if we're mutuals you can go ahead and message me and we can chat about it lol.

this isn't to like...cut anyone off but just to keep the size down because i would like to keep this being fun vs overwhelming for me haha - and, if possible, i'd like to stick to it just being dragon age fandom aside from special cases (like if it's from a mutual).

but y'all can hopefully look forward to that comms post in a month or so?

do viago and marisol have matching tattoos?

yes! i haven't solidified the story of WHY/HOW just yet, but when i was making Marisol in game i picked a tattoo design that was just under the center of her chest - really simple, but the overall look of it reminded me of like...flowing poison haha.

i like the idea of the crows having identifying tattoos for their house, but i also imagine Marisol wouldn't have a super flashy/noticeable one because of infiltration/undercover/etc purposes.

giving Viago the same tattoo hit me suddenly when i was drawing him shirtless for a comic so i haven't completely thought through that part of their story other than that he has it yet lmao.

i'll probably have a more specific 'House de Riva' tattoo that goes behind the ear that all members of the house have, and then the tattoo Marisol and Viago share is just them being toxic weirdo freaks but NOT SURE YET.

anyway, i'm figuring out what the tattoo actually looks like if i were to draw it more detailed and came up with this. i've wanted to make up house symbols for the different houses using flower motifs, so i also doodled something up for House de Riva that is the origin of their tattoos. it'll either be Oleander or Belladonna in the center there, not sure yet.

the actual symbol they have tattooed is the just the squiggles on the left there lmao

should have said this on the initial post itself, but just in case people are worried about this kind of thing (saw one tag asking what i assume is rhetorical permission, but! just in case!!)

i don't think i'm the first to have this headcanon but feel free to incorporate it into your own hc's, use it for fic, etc lol. i've seen some shades of this in some of the fic i've read, but not really to THIS extent (usually it's just the one specific topic/memory that's repressed) - so lol i'd be delighted to see it in fic or be pointed to some that do this.

i don't say this as a "I OWN THIS HC >:( " kind of thing but in a please please share similar headcanons with me i love this shit and love talking about and thinking about the potential of stuff like this lmao because at the end of the day i lvoe making my OC's miserable uwu
