I thought that this season was going to build up to some reveal where the three plots were related around a central theme that no one permanently dies in Night Vale. The plot about how no one can enter or leave would be related to how people can't leave even in death. The plot about Tabitha would be that even Night Vale's founders can return if necessary, that's how impermanent death is. And then the crates/Labyrinth were the means by which people can be returned.

But of course this is Night Vale so everything will be rushed into a resolution next episode. also Tabitha and the Labyrinth lady will probably die or fly away.

Joseph went on a tangent after someone compared Night Vale and Dropout TV, calling them spiritual siblings, by describing a time where he asked Dropout TV "when they started doing live shows" whether they wanted to do a Night Vale live show and they said no thanks, which it seems like he was surprised and slightly offended by.

A few things that have happened so far:

Brie Williams is not here

Fink got in a one-sided argument with someone about whether or not John Steinbeck was an asshole or a good socialist

Finknor spent at least six minutes talking about Life of Pi and the art house theaters where they have seen it, which then segued into a discussion about animation, specifically why Smellovision TV has not been invented yet

Fink read out my question, which was "would you do an animated show", and mispronounced Lubelle

(The answer to the animation question by the way was "I'd love to but it's hard", I did record this answer and might post it later)

Cranor described a neofuturist show where he made instant coffee on Cecil Baldwin's nude body

Cranor read out my next question and did pronounce Lubelle correctly

My question was "How old is Esteban and will Cecilos have more children" but they only read the first part. Neither of them could remember how old Esteban was so Cranor pulled up the script. He reasoned that if Esteban was born in 2016, this would mean "Esteban is almost nine." Apparently he doesn't remember that they had previously stated Esteban's birthday is in March or April, but since Cranor, while reading the live show script, stated "Oh I didn't know that Esteban likes strawberries", I guess this is unsurprising

Fink doesn't like when people ask character ages because they don't have a show Bible with that kind of information
