“I wouldn’t take it personally, I’m pretty sure that no one gets the 401k. But that doesn’t change the fact that I’m still not saying it.”

“Right. Whatever helps you sleep at night I suppose. And besides I only ever say it to women who have actually been apart of my life and last time I checked, we haven’t even worked on a mission together.”

When Torunn is going on/doing missions for SHIELD she is the most pain in the ass agent to deal with and she fully knows that the only reason she hasn’t been kicked out. Is because she is a goddess and they can use her abilities.

It is a LIE that burns her tongue,  like acid being dripped onto skin and yet she can’t stomach the truth.  That she is a MIKAELSON without a FAMILY and her life is now a little on the POINTLESS side.      ❝ Tory,  a cute name. ❞   so SHORT and yet it is comforting to know someone else might have a name as short as hers and seems to be FINE with it.

She has NOTHING to her name not even a credit card.  The rumbles in her stomach are UNCOMFORTABLE at best but she doesn’t.     ❝ WE… ❞     Oh!  It looks like I have a buddy in monster fighting crime.        ❝ Yeah,  we should go find the TURTLE before it scares the locals. ❞    How does a supernatural shoot bolts of lightening from their hands like some beautiful creature unheard of?  Was this girl another monster to crawl out of the pit too?  Wait,  that doesn’t make sense.  Hope takes her hand back and rubs it onto her jeans,  a shake of fingers as she tries to think five seconds in front of her. ❝ It didn’t like your little flashy thing. ❞    She isn’t sure what it is called exactly.  Just knows she’d call it a crack of lightening.    ❝ So our little friend might be uncomfortable right now. ❞  or startled.  That could be it too. 

“Thanks.” Torunn smiles at the brunette, she then takes her hand back and uses the same on to adjust the bag on her shoulder in order for it to be more comfortable for her to carry. Though she must admit she had not expected any of this when first arriving here, but at this point she should know better. 

“Perhaps the creature is nocturnal?” The princess suggests with a small shrug, at least that is what she had interpreted when she casted her lighting at the overgrown animal. “Also, you can just say lightning, it’s what I refer to my power as.” She points out, deciding to not mention the rest of her powers for now. Though she has a feeling she may have to explain it in the future at some point and who she is exactly also. 

Torunn begins walking after the troll, scanning around, to hopeful catch a glimpse of the creature or some sort of sign as to where it might be heading. “Got any ideas as to how we should kill it?”

And I said, there’s going to be a lot of hard, boring work, especially considering you’re already stronger than half the recruits I have, and you said—” Maria trailed off, leaving Torunn to fill in the blanks. She’d been there for all of the conversations, after all. “Basically, kid? It’s your fault you’re going on this mission.” She claps a hand on Torunn’s shoulder, grinning widely. Oh, she was practically a niece and Maria adored her, but making a recruit (any recruit) regret their life choices at least once in their career was a highlight for Maria’s work hours. “Not too late to back out.” random asks || always accepting

“More than half.” Torunn mutters, as she was pretty certain that there where only a handful of agents that could challenge her in strength. And as Maria was reminding her of why she agreed, the blonde could already tell that she was going to regret this and knew that her aunt was thinking this as well. She wasn’t even sure what was worse, the mission or the paper work that had to be done afterwords. 

Instinctively the young goddess looks up at Maria when she places her hand on her shoulder, “I’m not going to back out.” Torunn informs her whilst crossing her arms, for she was too stubborn to admit defeat of any kind. “I’m just going to complain the whole time, even more so when I have to write that bloody paperwork when I come back.” The princess tells her, though she has a feeling she was telling her aunt something that she already knew.

“Be honest auntie Maria, how often will I really get missions that will actually challenge me?”
