My pink nails are in contrast to my mind....
What if all the thoughts that you ever had are in actual fact your reality.
Would you have the romance of a lifetime ?
Would you be living your dream life?
Would you be spoilt and taken care of ?
What if my pink nails became a weekly thing. If I could be a girly woman every day of the month, and not just every now and then.
My pink nails are a symbol of everything I ever wanted to become, now I just need to get there permanently. All the time, every single day.
But right now, they are in contrast to the inner turmoil that is my brain. Do I want the dreams of my childhood or do I want these new unknown dreams. Will I get there, yes. Some day, but I want someday to be now.

The UN Environment Programme provides the following definitions (1) for Marine Pollution:

South African Environmentalists
Hi there!
If anyone can be an environmentalist, then how come we do not hear of many?
The truth of the matter is that most people believe that they will not be able to make a difference. That their voices are not loud enough.
When you drop a single plate on the ground. It still makes a noise. That noise might not be as loud, as when you drop five plates on the ground, but there is still noise.
When you drop that singular plate in a room full of people, it creates enough noise that people notice the noise.
A single voice is better than none.
For years environmentalists were stereotypes as weird people that tied themselves to trees that were going to be cut down.
Our current situation is more dire than just deforestation.
We are at a turning point in our relationship with the earth. The earth is speaking back to us in the form of storms, flooding and droughts.
And yet so many people are unaware of the connection between our current environmental situations and our human civilizations.
I have attached an article with a list of South African environmentalists. This list is proof that you are not alone on your journey to being an environmentalist.

Environmentalist:
What is an environmentalist?
Am I an environmentalist? Can I even become one?
These are big questions. Questions that haunt my mind into the late hours of the night. Questions that we will be answering today.
The Cambridge Dictionary provides us with the following definition: "a person who is interested in or studies the environment and who tries to protect it from being damaged by human activities." (1)
Britannica proves handy and provides us with the definition for environmentalism as: "a political and ethical movement that seeks to improve and protect the quality of the natural environment through changes to environmentally harmful human activities; through the adoption of forms of political, economic, and social organization that are thought to be necessary for, or at least conductive to, the benign treatment of the environment by humans: and through the reassessment of humanity's relationship with nature." (2)
We can now take a deep breath and reread those definitions, because they are a mouthful.
The answers to our big questions have been discovered.
An environmentalist cares about the environment as much as they care about people (sometimes more).
You might not be an environmentalist right now, but the good news is that you can CHOOSE to become one. (Capital letters were used to emphasis the fact that this is a life altering choice that takes 1 second to make, yet can literally help ensure the survival of many species).
The good news. You and I, and your best friend and your online gamer friends can all become environmentalist and join the environmentalism movement if we choose to, and we should choose to.
That brings us to our next big question: Why?
Why should I become an environmentalist?
I would normally answer this with a why not, but lifestyle choices are hard one to make as our lifestyle is normally dictated by sociology and a dash of psychology. The honest reality is that you should become an environmentalist because the environment needs you. The environment needs more voices to speak on its behalf, to fight for it, and to not only help clean it up but to also help prevent the polluting of it.
This is a choice that each and every single one of us needs to make. Do I want to be a part of the problem, or do I want to be a part of the solution.
(Don't worry, you do not have to become a vegan to be an environmentalist and make a difference. If you are vegan, that is also super cool. )
Until next time....
Stay Green. Keep Growing.
