Simply put, even if Ozen watched where she was going, there was no way some unfortunate bumps weren't going to happen with that giant coat and her super tall height. Which meant that was exactly what happened as she brushed past a man in the streets. It wasn't that she wasn't watching her way, but this particular street happened to be pretty narrow and orienting herself to the light and her limbs above ground... well, she wasn't quite used to it just yet.

The most normal thing you could do? Apologize with an excuse me and move on, but working up the effort to apologize wasn't her style, so she just kept moving.

Though, as she passed him, his shabby appearance was unexpected. So on streets this clean in a town this peaceful, there were still people who still couldn't afford to take care of themselves. He was only a little shorter than her, but still, it was probably easier for him to get out of the way.

It was quiet, but it was different from the quiet in the Abyss. Ozen sat by herself on a bench underneath the shade of some trees, a thermos of tea on her lap. It had been a long time since she last returned to the surface, and she did not remember her world being so peaceful and bright. Even outside the abyss, the world was filled with the feeling of dread.

It wasn't wrong to take her time.

But when you're a two-meter tall giant taking up an entire bench, it definitely stuck out. Compared to the girl with fox ears in front of her though, which of them was more distinct? The fox girl was a bit far off, but Ozen was still staring.

Even as she thought this, she still sipped her tea quietly, watching the strange fox-girl with a careful, curious gaze-- that didn't reflect in her expression at all. She was staring with dark eyes at the fox girl.

Oh, was she looking this way? It didn't matter, Ozen sipped her tea, undisturbed.

All she did was stare at him. Ozen turned her head in the direction of the hand she had assaulted very slowly, and simply stared into the face of the thief. From here, she easily towered over him, and yet he would still try to steal from her?

There wasn’t much in her pouches, admittedly, some herbs and paper she had been given. Nothing of value, but it was the action of being stolen from that alerted her. Had it been from a store, she wouldn’t have cared at all.

For him, she had only one word. “You.”

Honestly, Tougou didn’t know what he was thinking. He’d tried his best to go out of his way to pickpocket one of the pouches from the person before him, but with how still they were, he didn’t expect them to turn around or react. Their stature seemed threatening as is, but their hunched over position definitely caused Tougou to take a step back. He would run away, but even now they had a grip on the wrist that tried to steal from them, so he really couldn’t do much else but stand there as they turned to face him, panic settling into his mind.
