As pride month is soon. I come from a transphobic home, and as such, never questioned my gender until i learned that Rusty is often interpreted as genderfluid or some other form of nonbinary.

Not rude at all! I haven't done one for Rosie, but here's Millie :> A slight redesign, more of an update really, and fleshing out her background a bit. You can see some of her casual outfits in the upper right. Her dad cherishes her but it tends to be more in a...materialistic way, like one might cherish a priceless doll. And definitely tries to set her up with other heirs of family businesses. Her apprenticeship involves her working as a driver but also (mostly, really) a tour guide at the various stops, while her fireman stays and watches the engine/keeps it in steam for her. In other words, she doesn't exactly do a lot of the 'dirty' work. Wonder who arranged that

Sometimes all you need to get out of a bit of an art slump is one silly lil idea... and a couple of bees. Because of course it'd be the bees. x'D

Inspired by an idea/possible HC I came up with about the twins early days on Sodor. And how they were supposed to come with their nameplates/numberplates... but they didn't! Whoops! xD So while S.C.C was trying to sort out that whole mess, the twins started their trickery. After all, they look completely identical. They could probably get away with switching names without anyone even realizing... And so they did! xD And thus began their reign of chaos! Thankfully once the nameplates/numberplates arrived that put a stop to their nonsense.... At least for a little while. ;D Personally I think it'd be really fun if they did actually fully swap names (I.E Bill was originally supposed to be named Ben, and vice versa), but maybe they just flip-flop occassionally for fun. Who knows! It really could go any way with these two. After all it's not like they'll ever tell us who's really who! xD That's part of the fun! Anywho, I had a lot of fun drawing these silly lil guys! And although I don't often draw backgrounds, it was refreshing to give it a go again and really just go ham with it. And I'm really happy with the outcome too!
