Listen! That's the sound of dew dripping upon the leaves.

Bought these cute socks recently—ones that support the lives of foxes in national parks.
What does tighnari think of that? (They were 30 bucks CAD…)
Oh! That is very thoughtful of you! We love to see funds going in the direction of protecting nature. Since you said the socks are cute, I'm now curious as to what kind of design the socks have.
This reminds me of when I donated to a charity that promoted the protection of desert foxes all the way in the Hypostyle Desert. From the reports I received, they had been doing good work out there with the money. Too bad I never could see the work they did with my own eyes, as I would be unconscious if I so much as tried to tread their territory! Well, at least I can look after the foxes in the jungle and trust that someone else does their due in the desert.

A-alright then- *suddenly laughs out of instinct* Sorry, sorry, the last parts you just told me reminded me of things I heard so many times from my home. *sigh* So you too had to hear about too many careless people, right? Or even deal with them. Oh, man... I already sense how exhausting can be with them...
But I'll try to be careful. Thanks a lot for the guide. *grabs the book, then looks around* Are you busy right now? Maybe we can walk for a bit and- *suddenly notices something in a nearby bush* Hey, do you think this bug is harmless? I wanna see it up close.
Tighnari quirked a curious eyebrow at this eccentric stranger. As the Forest Watcher, he came across many a character on a daily basis, ranging from completely normal folk to the occasional idiot. He sized the newcomer up with his gaze, not quite yet being able to draw definitive conclusions as to where they landed on this mental scale of his.
Before he had the chance to open his mouth again to respond to their musings, the stranger had made their way over to a nearby bush, admiring what looked to be a yellow-spotted blister beetle. Tighnari blinked, not sure what to make of the speed at which they jumped from one task to another, before walking over to their side.
"That is a common blister beetle," he said calmly. "As their name suggests, they secrete a sort of blistering agent. I wouldn't recommend bothering them or eating them." He crossed his arms in thought and frowned. "I hope there aren't too many of them, lest they become a problem to the crops..."

It's mostly the fact that you tried (and failed by the way) to become a false god by sucking the life force out of the people of Sumeru and that you are siding with the lunatic who experimented on my daughter but... yeah, the zap hurt and for that I'm the pathetic one I guess.

I'd much rather the money go to charity. I would kill him for free, you see.

Oh, hi. I just stumbled upon this place and, well, I'm trying to find a place to live. Somewhere close to nature, heh. If that's okay. Also I want to explore around because I'm curious about the local fauna. But I want with some travel companion who doesn't mind talking about nature.
If it's nature you seek, you have come to the right place. The Avidya Forest is rich with different types of flora and fauna with a vibrant ecosystem that us forest rangers seek to uphold and protect.
That is, protect from anything and everyone that is a potential threat. So, to avoid ending up on the "threat" list, I suggest you consult a few guidelines and books I have prepared for newcomers to learn the ropes. Namely, the Avidya Forest survival guide (paying particular attention to the chapter "Distinguishing Between Edible and Poisonous Mushrooms" so I don't have to hunt down your lifeless body before it pollutes the environment), "Camping responsibly" and "How to NOT be a Lummox - comprehensive guide" for starters.
