Watched SADAKO (2019). My favourite well dweller is back and unsurprisingly it's a very mediocre affair that doesn't make a lot of sense. For whatever reason I'm still fascinated and entertained by this series. Hope Kodakawa will release DX on Blu-ray soon.

Hello, I'm finalcake and I draw stuff. I used to have an account but then tumblr sort of kinda ruined itself. Now I'm back here because it looks like Twitter is currently going through something a lot worse. Funny how things turn out, eh?

I suppose I'll have to test the waters here and see what I can and can't post. If I end up gone again it's not because I quit, so there's that.

Watched BARBARIAN (2022)

I love this film so much. Watched it twice last week (once to show it to my GF who was only so-so on it). The beginning is so damn tense and then we transition into one of my favourite 'weird stuff in a house'-tropes.

Sometimes the logic/realism is a little questionable but that didn't sour my experience at all.

Rest in power to Jason David Frank (1973- 2022) What I admired about him was that he embraced the Tommy Oliver character, the Power Rangers legacy and he didn’t take the fans for granted. Thank you for being a part of my childhood.

Watched COLOR ME BLOOD RED (1965).

The last film in H.G. Lewis' blood trilogy and the only one I hadn't seen before. Boy, that was almost painfully slow. Unfortunately, it felt like a lesser version of 'A Bucket of Blood' to me.

Just relistened to one of the MK Ultra episodes of @ChilluminatiPod while doing the laundry and thought about what an uplifting movie night these would deliver. 😵

Made these nice udon soup for dinner yesterday. Would have preferred proper Udon noodles, but that's the only ones I could get here in town. I know, I know the egg isn't supposed to be completely hard boiled, but it was in my fridge and needed to go. 😅
