Between 1963-1965 Brady and Hindley operated as the ‘Moors Murderers’ murdering Pauline Reade (16), John Kilbride (12), Keith Bennett (12), Lesley Ann Downey (10) and Edward Evans (17).

The couple were sentenced to life imprisonment in 1966. Brady and Hindley remained in prison until their deaths in 2017 and 2002 respectively.
