A little doodling, combining Journey (still one of my favorite games ever!) and DA:I. Top row, left to right: -Cole (inexperienced, first journey with no markings on his robes) -Solas (at least in this game his outfit would give him away :D I am aware the ancient people/gods we see in Journey's cutscenes don't have those flying scarves but I couldn't resist! The scarves are my favorite bit!) -Cassandra (count on Cass to take the hood off!) -Dorian (he'd be one of those people with really long scarves that, instead of getting in the way, float beautifully around)

Second row, left to right: -Sera and Blackwall (the journey companions that don't ever separate and aren't even in a hurry to get anywhere) -The Iron Bull and Vivienne (two cases of how one could handle horns in this game....) -Varric (he'd definitely be the one with his scarf all over the place and he doesn't even mind, pretty used to it actually!)

Bonus bottom row, left to right: -Cullen (trying to mind his business, working that fur robe) -Leliana (mischievous here and everywhere) -Josephine (secretly enjoying Leliana's mischievousness here and everywhere).

Sorry for the lack of art lately! Uni demands my full attention and it appears to have gained most of it already. 

Stilllll, I was able to go see one of my all-time favorite bands live: Breaking Benjamin ❤❤❤ I have always wanted to see them perform and the fact that I finally could just blows my mind. They were perfect and I wish I could have hugged and kept them here forever T___T

Just dumping this here because I’ll never get enough of being happy over seeing these guys!

hey!! I was just looking at your newer art and its sooo amazing!!!! i hope you dont mind but i was actually wondering what your process is for painting skin, i always have a hard time with it but the way you do it is so pretty aha :]

Heeeeeeeeeey <333 Thank you sooooo much <333 I'm so glad you like them! Hmmmm, I don't actually have a specific procedure. What I do is simply this:

-I color on different layers. I usually end up with at least 15/drawing. If you're happy with how your coloring looks, don't wait, move on to another layer and color again. I think moving to new layers frequently makes it easier to erase and edit without having to alter anything on the layers you're happy with.

-Also try colors that don't seem to make sense, if a color still doesn't make sense erase it and try another. Don't worry about coordinating colors or creating a color palette prior to drawing since you can always step back and try something else. There are no consequences as long as you're working on a new layer right? Like it? Keep it. Hate it? Delete it and you're drawing is as good as it was.  

-This here is important for me: I play around with layer settings so much that you rarely find a layer with "normal" as its setting in any of my drawings; you can find everything: overlay, multiply, screen, color dodge etc etc. Play around with these even after you think you're done coloring, see how it changes the way the layer looks. Sometimes new combinations seem to work better as you go further into coloring.

Try to your heart's content, it's your drawing, you decide the rules. Layers, Colors, and Settings are all there to help you and they can. Give them a try! I'd love to see what you come up with! Hope this helps! Good luck :*

I’ve been actually considering starting a store on Redbubble or Society6, but I don’t know. I have this nagging feeling that perhaps it’s not right that I should be making money off of this when: 1) I use references heavily, 2) I’m drawing fanart, so aren’t I just taking advantage of something’s popularity? I really don’t know. Maybe my views are restricted due to lack of knowledge on what’s allowed and what’s not here. Same goes with commissions!

I’d appreciate your opinions on this, if you’ve got any, all of you <3

I only got interested in the upper portion of the pic as you can see. To me, it looked like a pose Dorian would take, except with the head not as tilted down because I wanted to portray Dorian as a bit more daring/confident, but also had to keep a hint of the tilt just to preserve some of the submissive vibes the head down + eyes up combination gives off. A mixture of wild and tame is essentially Dorian to me! (The hand also helped tremendously because the only thing I don’t fail miserably at drawing is faces :D)

Also gorgeous model is Daniel Bederov.

You’re so kind, thank you! <3 Honestly, there’s so much I don’t understand regarding commissions, and I wouldn’t want to be unfair towards my commissioner, or myself, or my art or even all at once. I’ll have to do some research. If I can find an arrangement that leaves all happy, I’ll no longer hesitate :)
