Have you read Carry On by Rainbow Rowell? It's essentially a witty parody of Harry Potter with a canon gay ship. I really loved it. (Also thank you for making your comics I love them so much! Happy holidays!)

I Think I Can Tell

Harry was waiting. He had been thinking this over for months now, and he knew. He just knew that it was finally time. He watched the back of Draco's blonde head and looked away. When he glanced up again, chest clenching, he was startled to find Draco's piercing gray eyes fixed on his.

He didn't look away, not until later.

He stopped Draco in the halls, an empty one, sometime after potions class.

Draco stared at Harry for a while, waiting for him to speak. When he didn't, Draco looked confused. "Potter?"

"Malfoy," Harry had breathed out. "I just... I wanted to say that I'm sorry. For everything, since first year. If I had just taken your hand..."

Draco stared at him.

"I wanted a fresh start. What do you say?"

Harry held out his hand, just far enough for Draco to grasp.

Draco Malfoy gazed up into Harry Potter's emerald-and-jade eyes with his own steel ones and replied with a soft, "I think I can tell the wrong sort for myself, thanks." Draco looked back down for a moment and when his gaze came up again, they both watched each other for a moment silently.

And then it had gone to shit and they were both laughing and suddenly they weren't and they were staring into each other's eyes, breaths light and chests heavy.

And that was when the world ended and started all at once. They were kissing and kissing and when it ended, they wanted it to start again.

"Well shit." Two voices sounded from either side of the hall.

To their right stood Ron, Ginny, and Hermione, and to their left, Pansy Parkinson was leaning close to Blaise Zambini and Theodore Nott.

And that was when worlds collided, and they were laughing and talking and falling in love.

That was the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. This chapter would be the best yet.
