3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS, NORTH & SOUTH OF CEBU TRIP
Birthday trip ko to actually hehe, then kasama ko partner ko. First trip namin to Visayas :)
DAY 1: SOUTH CEBU: MOALBOAL
Straight from the airport, we went to South Bus Terminal papuntang Moalboal. Price is PHP 200-250 pesos per head. And travel time is around 1-2hrs.
When we reached the bus stop, mga 12nn na, nagpasundo na kami sa dive group where we booked. Hahaha. First in our itinerary is Freediving @ Moalboal.
Sadly, we only enjoyed 2 hrs of it, since one of our guides are pushing us down to dive (I respectfully decline) pero my partner got super tired kasi tinutulak sya pababa with no proper equalization! *that's dangerous guys! don't do it huhu
Nevertheless, the view down there is amazing! :)
After, we went to our accom sa Pescador View Beach & Restaurant. (dis accom is not for maarte travelers hoho)

DAY 2: NORTH CEBU: BANTAYAN ISLAND
Around mga 5am, we traveled back to Cebu proper. When we reached the South Bus Terminal, we booked indrive going to North Bus Terminal -- otw to Hagnaya Port. Travel time is roughly 2-6 hrs from Moalboal. (yea, I know this is jampacked! this is not your ordinary itinerary haha nakakapagod!)
Ferry sa Hagnaya Port going to Santa Fe is PHP 359. Travel time is 1-2 hours.
Once we got there, nagpasundo na lang kami sa hotel (may free shuttle service kasi haha) and we stayed sa La Playa Estrella Beach Resort.
Nagchill lang kami sa beach front, and nag-billiards (kahit di ako marunong lol) umulan din kasi onte haha. We went here March 29-31 nga eh :(

DAY 3: BANTAYAN ISLAND HOPPING
We woke up mga 6am, then traveled going to tourism office for the island hopping. The tour and boat fee costs around PHP 1,000 for the both of us. (di kasama entrance fee syempre)
Places we visitied:
Dahikan Beach and Kabayo Head Rock Formation (for free!)
Virgin Island, entrance fee is PHP 350 per head.
Baigad Lagoon Beach, entrance fee is PHP 250 per head.
We did Cliff Jumping sa Virgin Island.. hahaha did not know nakakalula pala. Di ako takot sa heights pero dito parang umiikot sikmura ko bago tumalon HAHAHAHA
We skipped Hilantagaan Island cause we did freediving na in Moalboal, but you can include this sa itinerary for snorkeling. :) You can also visit ogtong cave, kota park and ob-ob mangrove garden, which was featured in the local film camp sawi back in 2016 :)
We went back that same day to Cebu City, where we almost missed our flight kasi nagcr break yung partner ko haha. Tumakbo kami sa airport because nagffinal call na. HAHHAHAHA.

6 DAYS ILOILO, GUIMARAS & BORACAY TRIP
Here’s a story time before making it into this trip haha, my friend is from Iloilo kasi, when she booked a seat sale flight sa Air Asia and mentioned it to me, I immediately booked my own flight also. HAHAHAHHA. Hometown kasi ng mom niya, so she went with her (at saling kitkit ako char).
Disclaimer: This is a DIY itinerary, we only booked tour operators :)
DAY 1: ILOILO CITY
We went to try their famous La Paz Batchoy, and tour around the city lang. Nothing much on Day 1.  (then from SM Iloilo pauwi na to Guimbal--I stayed sa fam ng friend ko haha)

We booked at Guimaras Land Tour (PHP 3,800 for a van, 6 pax with 1 baby). Daytour lang ito, mga 5/6pm we went back na sa Iloilo.
Places we visited:

2 DAYS 1 NIGHT, MANIWAYA ISLAND, MARINDUQUE TRIP
I went on this trip with my best friend (actually, medyo biglaan 'to kasi ang tagal naming makapag-decide 😅). A week before the trip, may bagyo pa dito—so we were super lucky na maaraw nung nagpunta kami.
DAY 1: MANIWAYA ISLAND
This was a joiners tour we booked sa MJ Destination Travel and Tours for PHP 2,499 — all inclusive, including food. We got picked up around 10:00 PM the night before at McDo Panay Avenue.
Upon arriving in Quezon, we took a boat ride to the island (around 1–2 hours). We originally planned to get a fan room, pero the shared CR was super dirty, so we asked around if we could join another group’s room (8 people total) that had a private CR. Thankfully, they were super nice and let us join them. 🤍
After settling in, we went straight to the island hopping tour.
Places we visited:
Mongpong Ungab Rock Formation
Palad Sandbar (sadly we didn’t catch it in time 😢)
Maniwaya Island
After the tour we went back na sa island, nagchill, cleaned up and had a great time just relaxing with my bestfriend.
DAY 2: MANIWAYA ISLAND LAND TOUR
I woke up mga 5am to chill for the sunrise (but unfortunately, it wasn’t visible 😅) tapos nagland tour na kami ng bff ko (habal habal lang) for PHP 300. (150 lang pala lol)
Places we visited:
Century Tree
Sunong Bato (back beach)
Butterfly Farm
Moriones Statue

Finally able to see Maniwaya in Marinduque. I am so sad to leave I had to compare it to other beautiful places so I have something to look forward to. Hahaha. Definitely will come back sa main island to dive :)

2D1N ANILAO BATANGAS (freediving)
I was planning to dive early 2022 pa but I have different priorities that time, and did not have the money pa. HAHAHAHA. So 2 years later, I am here.
I feel like parang dive at first sight 'to, kasi I am looking forward na sa next dives ko sa iba't ibang lugar sa Pilipinas. Super fun & saya nung experience, kahit nahirapan ako mag-equalize at first. The crucial part kasi is you have to be relaxed. Later ko na lang na realize na I am too tensed pala kaya I was not able to equalize properly.
Ang saya pa kasi kasabay namin mag-dive mga turtles!!!! I am so happy hehe :)
I actually went solo here, and met a few friends din. The community's so nice at Lakbay Freediving, but I have few reservations lang na hindi ko na ishshare. Hahahha. Try nyo guys, ang saya promise!!
