Hey so just so we’re clear: The way I’ve counted kills ever since I started doing these spreadsheets back in Secret Life is that whoever gets the last hit on someone or triggers the final stage of a trap gets the kill. That’s it. That’s been my rule (and also lowkey the players’ rule) for like two years now because it’s the most objectively fair way to credit kills that multiple people contributed to without just leaving it up to my personal opinion because I’m literally just Some Guy with unsupervised access to Google Sheets

I’ve been thinking about developing a new system for counting kills this season just because of how many collaborative kills there have been but I’m gonna be honest the people being weirdly rude and aggressive about it are making me Not Want To. Not even out of spite or anything i just don’t like being attacked on my own blog and it makes me not want to do these kinds of posts anymore like there’s literally no need for that I famously take suggestions for the spreadsheet.

Anyways, sorry if I didn’t make it clear enough in the original post but this wasn’t giving Grian 100% of the credit for the Secret Society kill, this was making a joke about how, because of the way I count kills, it massively skewed the data and made it look insane (I have made similar posts in previous season about like. The Snails and Zombie Mumbo and such)

Per my last post: I am going to be adding the Square Hole as a separate counter for the kills chart on the Past Life Spreadsheet partially because I don't want the number of kills to be greater than the number of deaths and partially because it sounds like a nightmare to try and keep track of who deserves credit for square hole kills but anyways I just need y'all to see this because truly wtf

It was throwing off the Player Kills slice and I needed to see what percentage of all deaths on the server were cause by him specifically. For Science. Technically it should actually be 12 because he also killed himself but I count self-kills separately

Ooh wait actually everyone suggesting I make the Square Hole a separate counter may be correct because that's what I did for Zombie Mumbo kills in Wild Life
