This is soo random, but have you ever listened to Daft Punk? I feel like you might like a couple of their songs. I don't know why I feel compelled to give you music recs, but I just do :^) i think you're pretty cool and I just remember listening to these alot when I was doing my studies.

Anywayssss, Around the World, Face to Face, Something About Us, Lose Yourself to Dance, and Digital Love are amazing. They're pretty famous and if you've already heard them and listen to Daft Punk, I'm soo sorry for the ask ahah 😭 I just wanted to share bc I think you'd enjoy them.

I’m sure you get this a lot but I absolutely ADORE YOUR ART your art style is incredible and I love the way you draw Sonic they’re so FLUFFFYYY. I just cannot get over it. It always makes my day better to see that you posted something,

*Falls to my knees and slams my fist into the concrete* Your message literally just made my day, I'm so happy that my art can make your days better! Messages like yours remind me why I love doing what I do! I love giving Sonic characters extra textures and messy lines to kinda give that "quilly" or "fluffy" look to them because they are CREATURES in my mind and giving them that sort of "messy" look makes them feel more natural and raw to me (if that makes sense), and I love to share that idea to others! I've only been posting my art for about two months so far, but the amount of support I've received has been tremendous and I'm always always so appreciative and thankful for it :'^) Especially if it can make someone out there have a better day!! So, thank you so much for the very sweet ask, I am so glad that my art has the ability to make you happy!

IM SO SO FLATTERED RN! Honestly, I just have the "mess around and find out" mentality when it comes down to it, but I AM SO GLAD YOU LIKE MY ART 🫶 I think when I stopped worrying about how my art looked all of the time and just went with the process is when I broke free from my shackles and found my own method for how I wanted to do my art! Especially textures, I have so much fun throwing grainy lines, colors, and patterns! Thank you for the lovely message! 🥹

Back Against the Wall, In One Ear, Social Cues, Sweetie Little Jean - Unpeeled (HOLYYY shit I love this song its so good and I relate it to so many characters aha), Halo, Spiderhead and Abredeen just for fun (the Abredeen music video hurts my soul but it's soo good too)

Hey again!!! I really apreciate the lore dump, it's always great learning about my favorite bands! And connecting songs to Sonic and Shadow are literally so fun to me so I'm glad you also see the vision!!! 🥺

I also stopped my assignments temporarily just to check these songs out because, funny enough, I haven't heard any of these before except for "Social Cues" (WHICH IS AMAZINGGGH, especially the chorus, it's literal brain food)! And I live for song recommendations!!! Let me tell you, I had to stop myself from standing up and banging the library windows with my fists dramatically.. THESE SONGS ARE SO GOOD??

All of them actually??? Are now on my main playlist??? How'd they get there?!

Especially Especially "Halo," "Spiderhead," and "Sweetie Little Jean Unpeeled." Halo's transition from "lay low" to "lost my halo" has me on my knees. Spiderhead's melody is amazing and the lyrics are just as great (Loove the "I wouldn't change you if I could 'say you wanted to,'" soooooo peak).

And don't even get me started on the Unpeeled version of Sweetie Little Jean! This one is my favorite of the favorites. His unpeeled songs are masterpieces!!! I gotta say, something about string instruments find a way to reach my soul. His unpeeled songs go CRAZY with them!!! So when I was going through the song recs, I literally stopped at this one and stared longingly out the window because literally the violin picking up after the lyrics "How long will we let it go" held my hand and then threw me into the stratosphere. They're so,, raw with emotion?! Beautiful. Amazing even.

And wow, you're right about Abredeen's music video! Broke my heart seeing how misunderstood the dragon was, that eventually he even died because of it :( ouch owie ouch,, but that doesn't distract from the piece of art that is "Abredeen!"

All in all, thank you again for the support of my art and all the amazing CTE tracks!! It's amazing seeing that others like my stuff, it makes me happy doing the hobby I love! I'm glad it's edible too, lol (That gif got a laugh out of me), and thank you for the semester wishes! Though what semesters entail can be tough at times, it will never stop me from pursuing my current interest: drawing hedgehog yaoi!

Now, I'm going to resume my studying and loop these new CTE songs in the background :) ‼️‼️

That sonadow animatic was pure perfection! I need the whole song now 😭 your art is sooo good and expressive!

what's funny is the meaning of the song comes from the lead singer of CTE who suspected his now ex-wife was cheating on him during their short marriage when he was touring, and she was doing modeling. Seeing the animatic made me laugh since it's so silly compared to the meaning of the song 😂

First of all, THANK YOU!!! I rarely do animatics nowadays (though somehow I used to mass produce them) because they need alot of time and my motivation has to be pretty strong to get me started on one, let alone finish, so I'm glad you liked what I managed to make! And thank you for the art compliment, that means alot!!! :DD I love, love, LOOVVE drawing expressions, always have and always will!!

And second, WOAH, I had noooo clue!!!! That's some crazy CTE lore! I truthfully know very little about the band and the true meaning of their songs because I really, simply just love how fire and expressive the music is! Maybe now I should do some research for more knowledge behind my favorite songs :)) The other songs from CTE that really have me thinking about sonadow, along with "Black Madonna," (if any of you are interested, of course!) would be "Neon Pill" and "Ball and Chain" (this one is more leaning on Shadow's character in my mind's eye, esp. with the "golden handcuffs" lyric). Wait, can't forget "Tokyo Smoke!" <-Fun fact, I was planning an art piece for this one, but she's looking very sad in the sketch phase,, (for now, at least,,,) My soul yearns to make animatics with all of these songs, but alas...one at a time!

Rambling and my yapping aside, that does put the animatic in a funny spot when I think about it! (not that Sonic would cheat on Shadow or vice versa, not in MY house!) But nonetheless, it makes it even more silly!! Thanks for the awesome ask and I hope you have a great day!
