A quick doodle I started a while ago that I got emotionally invested in when I started P R O J E C T I N G. Finished it after having my first top surgery consultation yesterday because now it finally feels real, like now I can be excited about it :D

This is the final week for Dethzine sales! We’d like to thank you all so much for your support for the project as we end.

We will be shutting down zine opperations on the 18th when the final donations will be posted on this blog.

A few Kiri sketches and a Bakugou for good measure! First drawing of the new year, and also my first completed drawing in like 10 months or something :O. Trying out Clip Studio Paint on the iPad and playing around with some coloring and blending styles I’m not used to, hoping that this enable me to draw more often than I had in the past!

Up next in my pride reptiles series is the bearded dragon, representing pan pride!  I’ve honestly always wanted one of these guys ever since we had them as class pets in elementary school, they’re so fascinating.

Also quick reminder, I’ve been posting this series to my Instagram as well, which I’ve only just set up a couple weeks ago, so make sure to follow there as well!

Next up in the Gender Sneks and Love Lizards series is the Yellow Bellied Slider, representing intersex pride.  This entry in the series isn’t a lizard because it is not representing a sexual orientation, and not a snake because it isn’t representing a gender identity, but it’s still a reptile and still an identity within the LGBTQA+ community that I definitely wanted to represent!

This was actually the first GSLL entry I “finished,” but I kept feeling the need to go back and touch up a spot here or a stripe there, so it took me a while to post.  Can’t wait to see what this little guy looks like as a keychain!

Very excited to finally post the first piece in my new series, Gender Sneks and Love Lizards!  My goal is to combine my love of reptiles with my need for new and fun pride items (at some point these are gonna be keychains and maaaaybe even compiled into an informational zine of some sort ^.^), and I think I’ve got a pretty good lineup planned, which I’ll be working on/posting in the coming weeks!

This first piece is a Panther Chameleon, representing the gay pride flag.  Panther chameleons are really gorgeous creatures, their scale patterns lend themselves so well to such a colorful aesthetic.

I’m so excited to finally be working seriously on this project after months of planning and practice, I can’t wait to post more lovely reptiles!

Very excited to finally post the first piece in my new series, Gender Sneks and Love Lizards!  My goal is to combine my love of reptiles with my need for new and fun pride items (at some point these are gonna be keychains and maaaaybe even compiled into an informational zine of some sort ^.^), and I think I’ve got a pretty good lineup planned, which I’ll be working on/posting in the coming weeks!

A quick little practice snek for an upcoming project!  First time drawing a more realistic looking reptile, and the first time in a long time I’ve used a vector program to draw (Affinity Designer specifically, which I’m loving so far!).

All I’ll be drawing for the next like month or two are reptiles, definitely a change of pace but I’m excited for what’s to come!

I absolutely loved the joint Lars of the Stars/Jungle Moon event, it was interesting to finally have an episode where Steven didn’t actually appear, and instead we got to focus fully on Stevonnie as a character.  Also not gonna lie, loved that stubble, what a cool detail!

Hopefully this is the first of many new pieces in the coming months, I have a couple cool projects planned that I’m excited to really get started on :)
