Hi! We’re back! I don’t think we’ll be back at full steam but we’ll try our best! Glad to know that you enjoyed the fan accounts! I feel like they’ve gotten worse over time lol but yes we’re so excited for the comeback! M countdown is only an hour away!

As for the six member group part of your question, I (dayounggie) think the situation was sad and unfortunate but that doesn’t mean the legacy that the boys have created is tarnished. Things are different and will never be the exact same as the past, but this is the present that we live in and we just have to thrive and enjoy in our current circumstances. It took us both a while to process and sort out our thoughts on everything, just like I’m sure it took the boys and other fans some time too. But in the end, if all the boys are happy, then we’re happy. And lately they’ve been mentioning their relationship with Hoya in a positive light, so that makes us extra happy that although in the industry they’re separated, their bond isn’t completely broken, cause that would have been the real tragedy. I honestly just feel lucky that they’re putting out more awesome music, making us laugh and smile, and still love each other and us enough to want to continue on as INFINITE ^^

[FAN ACCOUNT] 180108 INFINITE ‘Top Seed’ Showcase

Hello again! I’m so happy to be able to write another fan account so soon after the ‘Begin Again’ fan meets! As the showcase was broadcasted live on V, I’m not going to talk about the showcase itself, but I’ll focus on things that happened before and after. It was the first time that I was even able to go to a showcase, and I luckily won the lottery as well!

So first of all, there were a few different methods to try to win showcase tix. There was a naver form that you fill out, a twitter lottery through 1theK and also a lottery based off of album sales. There were a few different sites that would pick out 100 winners from each site. Only Hottracks clearly said that each album you buy would be considered a separate entry (though I’m sure they all did it like that, I just chose hottracks to be safe), so I bought 7 albums. Honestly, I really wasn’t expecting to win because 7 albums are not a lot. Plus there were more than 500 people who were signed up with Hottracks. Anyway, Friday came around and I checked the list and to my surprise I actually won! Plus the music site winners got 2 tix per person, so I was able to bring a friend.

Fast forwarding to the day of the showcase, I was really anxious because they announced that tix were to be distributed first come first serve. I already heard that there were a bunch of people in line from the afternoon before. I would’ve waited in line overnight but I got REALLY sick this past weekend. There’s been a crazy flu going around lately, so I really sympathize with Sungyeol, cause if he had what I had, I have no idea how he was able to keep up with his schedules, IV or not. Anyway, I forced myself to wait in line for 3 hours before tix distribution started and there were already hundreds of people in front of me. Fast forward a few cold hours and finally I got my ticket. I got the end of the 400s in section A. So I was pretty disappointed, thinking of the layout of the fan meets.

After eating dinner, we started lining up to get in the venue and it started snowing. I’m not sure if it was because of the snow or because it was a different event, but it was a lot more disorganized. Instead of lining us up by number outside, they made us go in the building first and try to organize us in the tiny hallways. I’m pretty sure it was for safety reasons cause there are lots of stairs made of slippery material. Anyway, I was surprised to see a different set up once I got inside. Instead of having Sections A and B, it was just one big section with a rail halfway splitting the section in the middle. So although I was in the 400s I still got a really good spot near the middle rail! I was also kind of confused. As far as I know, the numbers in section A went up to 600 but the whole section was super packed. In the fan meets, those areas are supposed to fill like 1800 people. And without the extra rails, it could fit even more. Plus they didn’t even use section C or D at all! They were just empty! But the showcase itself had 2000ish tickets... so... idk. There were people on the 2nd floor though. So I think they just shoved almost everyone in the big section at the bottom which was a terrible idea imo. Because there were no rails dividing the section horizontally, there were crazy waves of pushing with nothing to stop the forward motion. I don’t think anyone intends to push but when you inch up a little it causes the person in front to inch up and so on and so on. So there were like non stop waves of pushing throughout the whole showcase. Idk why they didn’t just use sections c and d and just let everyone have a little more space. Either way, it’s done and over with now I guess.

Oh yeah, 10 mins before it started, people started screaming cause Golden Child started taking their seats on the 2nd floor. My friend saw them walking in the hallway outside the standing section while they boys performed ‘Tell Me’, prob to go backstage to say congrats. Also, I noticed they lowered the stage again, back to ‘That Summer’ height. So I was only able to see above their knees again. Also, a funny thing that happened was prior to the showcase starting, they were playing the different songs on the album in the background. When ‘Tell Me’ came on, everyone started practicing the fan chant and the ‘nege nege’ part was so awkward so everyone started laughing. But in the end, I think we pulled it off well. It’s a strange fan chant but after doing it a couple times, it’s quite endearing lol. Also, I have to say, I loved the ending, where they were sprinkling the silver confetti on the boys while they were dancing. SO PURDY!!! Anyway, I think that’s pretty much it! [TRANS] OSEN - [Oh!A Cup of Coffee②] INFINITE’s Sunggyu “Recent Contact with Hoya, Asking About Each Other’s Musicals”

Part 1~ <3

INFINITE’s Sunggyu spent the end of last year more busily than any time before. It’s because he was preparing for INFINITE’s 3rd full album comeback while also standing on stage for ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’. Here, on MBC’s variety show ‘Insolent Housemates’, he displays his unique, candid charms while working together with the ‘Godfather of Variety’ Lee Kyungkyu.

If you’re talking about singers, he’s a singer, if it’s musicals, he does musicals, if it’s variety, he does variety, Sunggyu, who’s actively involved in various fields as if he’s simply changing clothes, met with OSEN and we heard about his 2018 New Year resolution and other various things he’s been up to. Q. You’re comeback preparations overlap with the musical, isn’t it difficult? “It is a very difficult schedule. I had recordings for our team album, recordings for my solo album, and musical practices overlap and I also held Japanese fan meetings too. There was also the music video filming for our comeback and preparations for the end of the year fan meetings in Korea. It feels like I spent the winter of 2017 so chaotically. But I’m the style that feels more stable when I have a lot of work. It was hard but I liked it. I’m the type that can’t rest well if I’m told to rest. I don’t know how to rest well (laughter).” Q. If you could give us a small hint about INFINITE’s promotions this time around? “First of all, the fact that we’re releasing an INFINITE album after so long, I’m so thankful to the members, company, and to the fans who’ve waited. We prepared a lot for this album. So I’m even more excited. Originally, we didn’t intend on releasing a full album, but as we were recording, there were songs that we thought would be a waste if we threw them away, so we ended up releasing a full album. We prepared a lot, so we plan to promote as diligently for as long as it has taken for us to come back.” Q. You’ve already become a 10 year group, is there a secret to having good relationships between the members? "There’s no secret really (laughter). Actually, we argued a lot a long time ago. We’d fight and make up, fight and make up. We’ve been with each other since we were young and have come to know each other so well, that I think we’ve naturally become more thoughtful [towards each other]. It’s been close to ten years, so I want to say this teamwork arose out of members understanding each other and conceding to each other.” Q. Do you contact Hoya? There could be a possibility for you to be reunited through a musical. “If we both continue to do musicals going forward, there really is a possibility to be reunited under one project (laughter). I have talked to Hoya on the phone recently. I asked Hoya, ‘You’re doing well in ‘Sandglass’ right?’ and Hoya asked me, ‘You’re doing well in ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’ right? We exchanged what we’ve been up to.

Q. Do you have any separate solo plans next year?

"Since we didn’t promote this year, I finished all of my solo recordings during that time. I’ll have to think about the schedule but I’m hoping to release it next year. I also created these solo songs with the thought of performing them as well.” Q. We can’t leave out your variety activities. Right now, you’re on ‘Insolent Housemates’ with Lee Kyungkyu and the reactions are good. "Because Lee Kyungkyu is a respected sunbaenim and the Godfather of Variety, I’m doing well by riding on his coattails. Thankfully, Lee Kyungkyu sunbaenim leads me well and sees me as cute, so I’m thankful that audiences enjoy that.”

“Honestly, I find that kind of variety [show] to be harder than going up on stage. I always contemplate if I should really show 100% of my real life. I’m the type that’s scared of showing private things. I came out on ‘Insolent Housemates’ because my company tricked me and said that a pretty actress was going to come on. I felt burdened having to reveal my house so I wasn’t sure about doing it. I decided on doing it thinking that it would be a good opportunity because I’m not close to any actresses or girl groups. But on the first day of filming, Lee Kyungkyu sunbaenim and two dogs came over. Later, I asked the company, ‘How did this happen?’ and at first they said, ‘We don’t know either.’ But later they confessed, ‘We did it because we were afraid you’d say you wouldn’t do it.’ So, I argued and asked Lee Kyungkyu sunbaenim, ‘Other people are filming so happily like ‘We Got Married’, why is it only us that’s like this’. Honestly, it’s that kind of chemistry that people seem to enjoy.” Q. You’ve been getting good reactions from every variety show that you’re on. Do you have a special secret? "I’m always contemplating, ‘How much should I show?’ but I’ve realized that when filming reality, you have to be honest in order for the show to be funny. A while ago, I didn’t see the filming equipment and comfortably changed my clothes and it aired just like that. So after 10 years, I’ve finally exposed myself. So from then on, I’ve thought, ‘I’ve got to be careful when changing clothes’ (laughter). Q. What are your plans for 2018? Please say something to your fans for the upcoming new year. “I’m thinking about how to show many new things next through concerts and my solo. In order to repay the fans who have waited, I plan to ‘work diligently’. [TRANS] OSEN - [Oh!A Cup of Coffee①] INFINITE’s Sunggyu “’Prison Playbook’s Park Hosan’s Advice and No Acting Lessons”

The group INFINITE’s leader and main vocal Kim Sunggyu has added another title [to his name]. Starting from his debut performance in 2011′s ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’, he adds the title of ‘Musical Actor Kim Sunggyu’.

Starting from December 15th of last year, audiences have had the chance to meet the main character Myungwoo, from the jukebox musical ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’, who looks back on his first love and moments of his life before his death. 

After it’s premiere in 2011, the musical returns after a complete rearrangement in order to give new life to its foundational storyline. Kim Sunggyu, who also participated in that premiere, is working on internalizing the masterpieces of the late, great Lee Younghoon, as the young Myungwoo, the main character in ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’.

Kim Sunggyu, who obviously has great singing skills, has been receiving especially good reviews for his natural and cute expressions as the young Myungwoo who expresses his shy love to his first love Sooah. And the fact that he has never received an acting lesson is even more surprising and amazing.

So, OSEN spent some time talking with Kim Sunggyu, who is busier than anyone else, as he’s preparing for INFINITE’s comeback and ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’ for the end of this year and on New Years day morning.

Q. How did you feel about your first performance? “I was very shaky and nervous. I was the last actor in this role to do his first performance so I think I was extra nervous. But everything seemed to end smoothly so I’m very happy.”

Q. How did you become involved with ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’?

“Actually, I was involved in the premiere of ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’. It was my musical debut. Because the director, Lee Jini, of this newly made version is the same director from before, I was casted quite naturally. And the songs are just so good.”

Q. How different is it from before? “It’s completely different. The role that I have now is a lot more important than before. If my role during the premiere was that of a guide, this role allows the main character to reminisce on his youth. I personally like it more.” Q. You must’ve learned a lot since you’re working with star sunbaenims like Ahn Jaewook, Lee Gunmyung, etc. “I learn a lot. After practicing with Jaewook-hyung, he told me a lot about the direction of the character. Honestly, I’m the type that gets embarrassed easily so I was really worried, but while drinking after the first reading, all the sunbaes made me feel really comfortable and we were able to share lots of stories. After that, they’ve been giving me advice here and there and I’ve been having fun while practicing.”

Q. You’ve been constantly doing musicals up to this point. What would you say the charm of a musical is?

“First of all, it’s a lot of fun. I’ve done lots of concerts as a part of INFINITE but it’s fun to sing and act as another character and not as INFINITE’s Sunggyu. At first, there were difficulties and it was all very unfamiliar to me, but as I continued doing musicals, I came to like them. Another way it’s different from broadcasts are that you can feel the three dimensionality. Even now, while doing ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’, I’m extremely happy.

Q. From an idol’s perspective, are there any burdens in attempting a musical?

“Since I was young, I’ve always felt a lot of burden. Because of certain stereotypes, I worried and stressed about it being too intimidating. But as I kept working on different projects, I think I felt ‘I need to do well’ more than the burdens of coming on as an idol. Instead of being irritated at those kinds of perspectives, I saw it as more of an interest in me and took as it an encouragement to ‘do better’. That’s why these days I don’t feel that kind of burden, but instead I worry about ‘How should I express this better?’ or ‘How should I do this today?’

Q. Have you ever learned acting?

“No. I’ve never received any lessons. I think I just devote myself into practicing when I start a new musical. I also listen to the sunbaenims’ advice and I try to bring out the character that I’ve imagined. Actually, I asked a hyung that I stood on stage with before in the past, ‘How can I do well?’ But that hyung answered with, ‘Will you do well just because I told you what to do?’ So I was like, ‘Ah, I see,’ and am learning on my own.”

Q. Does that hyung still promote?

“Yes. Right now he comes out on the tvN drama ‘Prison Playbook’. It’s Park Hosan hyung. He’s a hyung that I met when I did the first ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’. We also did ‘In the Heights’ together as well. A while ago, I was surprised to see him on TV so I texted him and he responded saying, 'I'm so busy I wasn't even able to monitor the first episode.'

Q. Do you have any acting ambitions? “If an opportunity comes along, I’d like to try it. Offers have come in but I never thought ‘I have to do this’ so I couldn’t. If there is something that I want to do, I’ll consider challenging myself with it.’

[FAN ACCOUNT] 171231 INFINITE Begin Again - Day 3

Hello again! Sorry that this one took so long! I’ve been living with post-concert depression and was trying to avoid vids of the fanmeet in order to resolve my feels lol. There was a lot going on this day and mixed with the days before, I might be missing a lot of good info or getting it confused, so I apologize ahead of time! Onto the fanmeet~

So I also forgot to mention that Dongwoo changed the rap for ‘Between You & Me’ as well. We’re thinking it might be a trademark thing... but anyway, I also forgot to mention on the first day, Woohyun did the first rap part of ‘Cover Girl’ after Sungyeol’s urging, super cute!!!

There were lots of good talking ments that day! They’ll probably be out of order, but I’ll try my best! I think it was at the beginning sometime when they all mentioned Myungsoo’s awards from the MBC Drama Awards and Sungyeol mentioned that he was really disappointed that Myungsoo didn’t mention the boys at all. They come back to this story later towards the end of the night, but I’ll combine it here. Sungyeol was saying that he was watching it at home and was hurt. Then he threw Sunggyu under the bus by saying that Sunggyu texted him and said ‘Next year, you need to win an award and thank us instead!’ So to explain his side of the story Sunggyu said that he was also at home after the meet and was able to catch Myungsoo win the first award. After winning, Sunggyu sent a congrats text in the group chat. Sunggyu said he understood that Myungsoo wasn’t expecting the award and was flustered and that’s why he didn’t thank the boys or fans. So when the won the second award (Popularity award) he was kind of expecting a shout out then and when they didn’t get it, he texted Sungyeol that he needs to win and thank the members. After hearing all this, Myungsoo said that he’ll make sure to win again and call each of their names out one by one lol. Woohyun said there’s no need cause they’re going to try to win an award as INFINITE! (YAAASSSSS!!!)

Another thing they mentioned was that we’d be spending New Years together and Dongwoo was worried about the minors in the crowd but everyone was like WE’RE OKAYYYY! Sunggyu was joking that he hopes we’ll finish before the last train leaves so fans started chanting ‘First train, first train.’

Going to the ments after the solo stages, first of all, Sungjong and Dongwoo came out at the end of Yeol’s stage and danced with him lol. He was also back to wearing his regular coat and not the fur one.The boys were teasing Sungjong about ‘Good Morning’ again. Woohyun said something like, ‘We shouldn’t try it, right?’ But fans insisted cause everyone came a little prepared. But it was still kind of a fail and Sungjong was cool about it. He said, ‘It’s okay, they all know ‘Pick a Star from the Sky’ so we all sang that again. Sunggyu was still very adamant that his song was not called ‘Laser.’ Yeol revealed that his song also didn’t have a title, so fans started yelling ‘LASER’ lol. Sunggyu suggested ‘The Night of December 31st 2017′ but they were saying it was too long so how about ‘The Night of the 31st’ or something similar. Sungyeol was so chic and cool about it he was like *shrug* ‘Okay’ lol. The other members started throwing other things around but Myungsoo said he should stick to the original idea because it’ll be meaningful to remember this day with the title. 

They didn’t play the dice game again today but they did do 3 questions (I think) from the Instagram event. It was so funny cause when they first started, Woohyun asked us who sent in a question for the event and a little less than half the crowd raised their hand. Then he asked who didn’t send one in and most of the crowd raised their hand which made everyone laugh. They said we were very honest lol. The first one referenced the time that Gyu gave a fan $50 because it was late. It said something like give me $50 or $50 aegyo. So everyone wanted Gyu to do it and so he did this cute baby like voice, “Pwease gib me $50′ Dongwoo was trying to skip himself and move the convo along so he suggested only 2 others to do it but in the end everyone did it. Dongwoo did his ‘Lovebug’ aegyo and chanted for Woohyun. Dongwoo counted ‘1, 2, 3′ but Namu said that his dad was in the crowd that day so he did aegyo by asking his dad for $50. Sadly, I read that his dad had gone to the restroom during that part so he didn’t see it lol. Then fans chanted for Soo so Dongwoo counted again... and again... and again. He was really trying to get out of it but finally we broke him down lol. Fans chanted for Yeol but he wanted some time to think but we rushed him so he did this baby voice saying, ‘If you’re going to make Sungyeol do this, he’s gonna get mad’ and it was SO CYYYUUUTEEEE! We chanted for Sungjong and he said, ‘If you don’t give me $1000, I’m gonna get mad’ lol Our maknae is in a different class.

The second one was about bucket lists or goals. They went down the row and most of them mentioned that they’d like the album to do well and to promote a lot this year. I think I remember Soo saying one of his goals would be a solo album. Woohyun said that he wants to release a song/perform in all four seasons this year. He said he has lots of songs and when he listens to different ones he thinks to himself that it’d match well with this season or that season. Sungyeol went last and he said that his small goal is for Myungsoo to win again so that he can properly thank them lol. This is when they got into that whole discussion that I described earlier.

The last instagram question asked them about the alcohol preferences and the foods they like to eat with alcohol. Once again I don’t remember the order of the convo but I’ll include the good bits. Dongwoo said that his tolerance has gone up from one glass of soju to half a bottle. They said Sungjong gets really bright and happy. They also talked about eating dried foods and stuff but there wasn’t any funny moment with that. They talked about measuring alcohol too. Gyu says that he fills his glass with beer until the bottom of the logo and adds a shot of soju. Sungyeol and the crowd agreed the best way to measure was stacking two soju glasses and using the lines to measure how much soju to add. They were worried if it was okay to be talking about alcohol but they figured since they’re adults it’d be okay. It was cute cause there was a group of underaged kids around me and they were telling each other how many years left they have until the can drink lol. Woohyun only drinks soju because everything else gives him headaches. Gyu said that Namu can drink a lot and that one time Gyu was leaving for home cause they drank too much so he got up and Woohyun followed him outside with a glass and told him to have one more lol so cute right. Gyu also said that even when he’s drunk, Namu never is, he’s that strong. Woohyun said that once he’s drunk he drinks even more if no one stops him (I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE!) Sungyeol also revealed that he’s been drinking one bottle of makgeolli a day for four months because he researched and it’s a healthy alcohol. Gyu said after hearing this he was really worried about Yeol’s health and that he might become an alcoholic lol. But apparently it’s okay and not too dangerous. But Yeol said that he plans to quit after the company party that night. So the fans were like... didn’t you say you quit a while ago. But he revealed that he was serious this time cause he wants to be healthier and stuff. 

After that they were going to go into the Golden Bell section but there was 15 mins left until the new year so they started talking about hopes/wishes for the new year. They said the same things about promoting and performing and well wishes for fans. Then they chose 4 random fans (this part was impromptu) to choose a member to give well wishes to and the last girl did one for them as a group. The girls said a lot of good stuff and a girl who did hers for Dongwoo very cleverly used some of his lyrics from his solo! Finally, we did the countdown and the boys did a little huddle and it was super cute. There was another airplane event but that day’s paper was pearl metal gold!!!

Next, they did the Golden Bell part and the first answer was ‘Just Another Lonely Night. 2. The Origin (Gyu cheated by asking Inspirit) 3. Myungsoo’s hand 4. Sungjong’s outfit 5. Lyrics for something (Sorry I forgot) and 6. were questions about the members. (Sorry I really don’t remember this part very well ㅠㅠ) In the end, Gyu won and they changed the rules so that whoever wins can pick 3 losers to spin the wheel. Namu tried to suck up to Gyu but Gyu picked him anyways. Then fans started chanting for Soo but Soo was like, ‘I already did a punishment’ and so Gyu chose Sungjong and Sungyeol. They also said that if someone got ‘Fashion King’ then he could pick 2 others to dress up with him. Sungjong went first and got ‘Giving Back - However I want’ and so he chose a free hug event for 200 fans. It was supposed to be held on the 1st but idk what happened to it. They said they’d post more info on ig later and do a v app but idk. Yeol spun and got ‘Fashion King’ and fans chanted for Gyu. He told Gyu that if they play rock paper scissors and Gyu won he wouldn’t have to do it but if he won, he would. Sunggyu lost lol. Then fans chanted for Soo and Sungyeol shushed us and said, ‘I’m going to choose Myungsoo who disappointed me’ and fans went crazy. Myungsoo wanted to play rock paper scissors too but in a very choding way Sungyeol said, ‘I don’t wannnaaaaaaa, why should IIIIIIII?’ lol so that’s how we got Gyu minion, cute boy soo and No Face Yeol lol. Namu was like okay I’m gonna spin and spun really lightly so that he could get the crown symbol but as he turned away Sungyeol pulled on the wheel to ‘Random Dance’. So while the others changed, Namu danced to Bombastic, Gashina, Amor Fati (the song Soo danced to on the first da), and Produce 101′s ‘Pick Me/It’s Me’. Sungjong and Dongwoo danced alongside him as well.

They performed ‘Entrust’ and ‘Cover Girl’ and had a short ment. Sungyeol took his mask off for a bit, it must’ve been so hot ㅠㅠ They performed/laughed their way through ‘The Eye’ and it was the funniest thing to see Yeol dance so eagerly in his costume. At the end, they said they wanted us to sing ‘White Confession’ so we all sang our hearts out and as they were saying goodbye, Namu definitely teared up, that precious angel. As we were all heading out, there was the nicest Inspirit who let us touch/take pics of one of the stuffed animals she got from Sungjong. I was surrounded by really nice fans on the last day. We all talked and got along and didn’t yell at each other. One fan even gave me an extra Woohyun picture that she had! The boys said we did much better the second night and that they hope we’d do well then too. In general, my faith was restored by the nice people I met on Sunday. I just think Friday was really bad cause it was the first time after so long. It was such a nice way to start 2018, and the boys really are the best. They had so many other things going on, but they put all this hard work into making us happy and starting the year off right! Woollim also provided a couple shuttle buses for fans. That was nice! Maybe Woollim is getting better, slowly but surely, I have faith in our boys! Anyway, hope this wasn’t too boring/scatterbrained. D-4 Guys! Let’s do our best to show our boys that they’re still #1~

[FAN ACCOUNT] 171230 INFINITE Begin Again - Day 2

Hi all! Before I start with the second day things, I wanted to add some first day things that I forgot when I posted. So, I forgot to mention how cute the opening vcr is. It is so cute! It’s like the mature version of the end of ‘White Confession’ where they all bring presents. Then it ends with them outside with sparklers and it’s just so pretty~ Besides that I also forgot to mention that the stage this time around is a lot higher than ‘That Summer 3′ which makes viewing so much better. I remember I was in a similar spot for TS3 and could only see from their knees up, but I could pretty much see everything this time around! Also, I forgot to mention that they were telling us not to push each other cause it hurts them to see us get hurt. And Dongwoo was like, ‘You wouldn’t want to see us pushing and hurting each other, right?’ and he pushed Woohyun a bit and Woohyun almost fell out of his chair for real lol. It was cute but I swear I saw the flash of fright in Woohyun’s eyes lol. Also, as the boys were doing their intros, Dongwoo stopped crying and was back to his energetic self, which Gyu later teased him for by saying, ‘He was just crying a few minutes ago!!’ lol. Dongwoo was very energetic all night, the boys had to calm him down a few times lol. He kept dancing while they were talking and they were like ‘Whoa whoa’ lol. I also forgot that while talking about Sungjong’s solo songs they mentioned ‘Good Morning’ and tried to get Sungjong to sing it but he was like, ‘Uhhh’ so they tried to get Inspirit to sing but it was super quiet so everyone was laughing. Speaking of solos, did I mention Dongwoo’s pelvic thrusting??? Or Woohyun copying him? Well yeah, that. And it was amazing. Oh and I remember a bit of what they were talking about during the Instagram section. The question was about what they do after they wake up. Myungsoo checks to see if his eyelids are doubled or not lol. Namu said he needs to put on makeup and that’s what prompted Sunggyu to tease him about getting ready and the difference between Myungsoo and Woohyun lol. Tbh, it seemed like the first day was a bit like a rehearsal. They changed a lot for the second day. Keep reading for more second day shenanigans!

So I had a much better experience for the second day, although the meet itself was an hour shorter than the previous day. I did see a lot more intentional, rude pushing by fan in front of me, but luckily my area was quite tame. So the biggest take away from day 2 was the fact that they changed quite a lot of stuff. The boys had their hair done, some minor costume changes, chair changes, confetti changes, bg changes, and most importantly... they completely cut out 1 whole hour of talking time. It was most likely because 3.5 hours is quite long in itself but also because Myungsoo had the MBC Drama Awards to attend at 9pm (the meet ended around 8:30). So they didn’t do the dice talk AT ALL! They also did only about half the questions in the Golden Bell section too. They also got rid of the Inspirit Chance, I guess since it didn’t help them anyway lol. Oh and I’m not sure if it wasn’t working yesterday or I didn’t notice or people just weren’t wearing them, but the LED bands lit up automatically and even vibrated at certain parts of the show. Kind of like what the SM artist bands/lightsticks do. Another cute thing the boys (mostly Woohyun) did was instead of saying 2018 in the normal Sino-Korean numbers, they used the Pure Korean way of saying it instead because 18 sounds like the f-bomb a bit if pronounced incorrectly. (There are 2 counting systems, one using pure Korean and the other based off of Chinese characters).

Anyway, these next few things might be out of order, but I’ll try to organize it as best as I can! I think it was some time at the beginning, Woohyun started doing this dance and the members all freaked out cause Woohyun was giving out spoilers. Dongwoo had to hold him back lol. And judging by the members’ faces, it was a real spoiler lol. Since they skipped the dice part, the beg of the meet went by really quick. 

Before the solos, they were teasing Sungjong for having the highest fees for his stage. They said since he has all these props and a hat and stuff, his fee was highest. They also tried to get us to sing ‘Good Morning’ again but... crickets. Sorry Sungjong! But it’s hard to know a song that was never officially released! Also, there was another mistake at the beg of Myungsoo’s solo. He sat down and looked offstage and was pointing to his mic. Apparently they forgot to turn it on. Then I guess they told him they turned it on so he made like an okay sign and tested the mic, all while the bgm was still going. Hopefully, his stage will go smoothly today. Woohyun said someone gifted the song to him, but I can’t remember the name he said. Dongwoo also said he helped take part in making his song with someone, but once again, I’m not too sure who. Sunggyu said that Nell’s Jonghwan wrote the song for him, but he wrote all the lyrics, and he made it clear that he does not want to name the song ‘Laser’ lol. He was just like, hard no lol. Sungyeol said that he wore a different jacket (it was a big blue furry one similar to Dongwoo’s red one) today because he saw Dongwoo’s jacket from yesterday and told the stylists he wants that one lol. So cute. They made a joke about how they look like the Korean flag and that it works out cause Dongwoo is red and red is on top and since he’s the hyung, he’s on top lol. Yeol also revealed that he was curious about who’s stage was actually the most expensive so he asked and it was actually Yeol’s lol. He said he didn’t realize the fireworks were that expensive and that his new jacket added onto the total lol.

The instagram section was next and this time they only answered one question. It was if they had daughters, who would be the most loving to their daughter. Sungjong said that you’d think it would be Woohyun but.. and after hearing that Woohyun got all mad lol. But Sungjong said he think it’d be Sungyeol. Sungyeol agreed and said he wouldn’t even let her wear a skirt and everyone was like NOOO. Sunggyu said it definitely wouldn’t be him and that he hasn’t even thought about having kids. Dongwoo said he would want sons and daughters and that he wants 5 kids who all have different interests. Woohyun told him good luck on finding a wife lol. Sunggyu said he thinks Myungsoo would be really good to his daughter. Soo agreed and said that he would totally treat his son differently than his daughter. He’d be really worried with a daughter but really tough on the son lol. Yeol joked that Myungsoo would hate to have a son like Yeol. Someone (maybe Myungsoo) said that Sungjong would be good to a daughter and Sungjong agreed kinda blatantly as he does lol.

Like I said before, the quiz section was cut super short. They did the ‘Korean’ class, like last time and the first answer was ‘Second Invasion Evolution Plus’ and everyone was like wtf! But the thing is they didn’t give it with any spaces inbetween the words so Sungyeol was complaining lol. The second answer was ‘Be Back’ and it was hilarious cause Dongwoo wrote all kinds of things that started with ‘BB’ and Woohyun wrote ‘Babo for inspirits’ and Sunggyu wrote ‘Big Bang’ LOL. Everyone was like wth! The ‘Science’ section was a pic of Dongwoo’s ear, which everyone got wrong. Sungjong really thought it was his and Dongwoo was surprised it was his. He said he has more earrings than in the picture and was almost in denial that it was him lol. The next pic was an outfit pic of Sungyeol. The ‘Music’ section was Infinite F’s ‘I’m Going Crazy’. Gyu and Jong tried to cheat a lot by asking Inspirit. Namu was cute and kissing the dolls and having the dolls kiss each other and kiss him and Yeol was staring at him with this judging look lol. So Dongwoo lost again lol cause he got 0 points. But he said it’s boring to punish him cause he lost yesterday so he convinced everyone, very easily, to punish the second place loser, Sunggyu. So he spun the wheel and got ‘Fashion King’ like everyone wanted. He went off stage to change and the boys stole a few more dolls to throw into the crowd. Sungyeol came back on stage after getting more dolls and said that Sunggyu’s costume was hilarious and to try to film it secretly lol. Then Woohyun said to film freely since it was okay in this section. So as you prob know by now, Gyu comes out wearing a Mario costume and he had to perform ‘Entrust’ and ‘Cover Girl’ like that. Also, Sungyeol tried to get his dolls to the 2nd floor again but to no avail.

During the next ment, Gyu tried to sneak off stage to change but Dongwoo dragged him back and made him dance ‘The Eye’ in the costume lol. He said he doesn’t mind but didn’t wanna wear the mustache cause it was hard to breathe, so Woohyun told him not to breathe lol. Gyu had previously tossed the hat out to a fan but the members wanted him to wear it so they asked the fan if they could borrow it and that they’d give it back to her. Then Dongwoo put it sweetly on Gyu’s head and that’s how we got the funniest vers of ‘The Eye’. Dongwoo was excited cause he said we’ve never done a Halloween or Christmas party but now it’s like we have lol. At the last ments, we were all cheering and congratulating Myungsoo for his Newcomer Award nomination. Yeol said that everything we’ve been wanting (for the dice and wheel) had come true so hopefully this will too. During the last ment, there was another airplane event. Namu picked one up and was reading the instructions printed on the paper out loud. He said, ‘Please write down a message filled with love for Infinite... this paper is blank.’ LOL 

All in all, even though it felt a bit less interactive than usual, it was a good time! Sunggyu was a lot quieter than normal and it did feel a bit more routine event-like than the usual free for all Infinite style, but I had a much better experience. I know I’m writing this really late, but hopefully it interests someone out there! Once again, make sure to show your love to our boys and Happy New Year everyone! May 2018 be the year of INFINITE!

[FAN ACCOUNT] 171229 INFINITE Begin Again

Hi everyone! I know it’s been a while but better late than never right? Anyway, I was able to go to the first day of Begin Again and it was so nice to see the boys again. It feels like it’s been forever and a half since I saw their smiling faces on stage. I’m going to try my best at this fan account but tbh it’s not going to be as good as the others. There were a few distractions in my area and because it had been so long, I think I was too caught up in the moment and a lot of the talking parts didn’t stick in my brain. It also might be because I’m getting old lol. 

Anyway, the merchandise for the fan meet are all pretty nice and this time they even had a table with all the goods on it so you can look at it or touch them before you buy it. The only bad thing about the goods is that they came in these huge boxes that were impossible to carry around. Fast fowarding to inside the venue. Woollim really seemed to try to change things up this time. They’re still kind of predictable but I can definitely see the effort they put in to make fans a bit happier and to change it up from their complete predictability. Instead of mvs playing before the start, it was the concert logo in English and Korean flashing back and forth with title songs playing in the background. Tbh I kinda missed the mvs. Maybe it was because it was the first day after so long, but no one was singing or getting into the music. I think the mvs helped people concentrate on something instead of their phones.

So the first song they did was ‘Back’. Sungjong took over Hoya’s part and everyone went crazy! Also, in the middle of the song, Dongwoo started to cry during his part. It was so sad and touching, I started to tear up too. So he did his choreography going across the stage slowly, tears streaming down his face, with his cute Dongwoo cry face and it was just silent. Ugh, all the feels. After the song, we had a small event of throwing these paper airplanes with our messages into the air. Tbh it was cute but they all just ended up being trampled up on the floor by the end of the night. The fan union also prepared updated fan chants for us, which was nice. They’re not too difficult, just a few changes here and there really. They started their intros and I remember Myungsoo finished and Dongwoo was starting but Myungsoo kind of interjected like he wanted to say more so Dongwoo was like go ahead but then Myungsoo was like nevermind I’m weird today lol. Sungyeol mentioned that he almost cried after seeing Dongwoo cry too. Can you believe it? Our manly Sungyeol?? lol Anyway, Sunggyu said he wanted to laugh after seeing Dongwoo cry lol. They all talked about what they’ve been up to and Sunggyu mentioned his fanmeets and then Namu teased him by calling him Myungsoo-ssi. I don’t think there was anything else that was too special in this talk. I apologize again, my brain wasn’t fully functioning or something last night. Next, they performed ‘Between Me & You’. After the song they all came out and staff set up chairs for them. They were spread across the stage and were kinda far back so fans were asking them to come forward. They were like we’re so far apart. So fans were hoping they’d come forward but they decided to move their chairs closer to each other. It was so cute, they all moved so close to each other, they were like this is really close now lol. But fans wanted them to come closer to us but they said they need the space for the next part. They did this dice game thing. It was this huge dice that had different topics on them. I don’t remember all but some were ‘Contract Renewals’, ‘Black Past (embarrassing stories from the past’ and... sorry I don’t remember lol. Sungyeol asked what we wanted and we all wanted to hear about the renewals so he fake threw it up and was like ‘Oh yeah, look at that renewals!!’ But then he threw it up again and it still landed on renewals. So they mentioned how they talked for a loooong time about this and that they all think they made the right decision. They mentioned that the CEO was like why is renewals on the dice lol. They also said that their teamwork is even better than before and Sungjong said they’re like family that don’t share blood, and it was such an obvious kind of statement that everyone giggled. Woohyun mentioned that they actually got a lot of love calls from companies but Sunggyu said they chose Woollim cause they know the boys best and fit best with them. Fans were kind of not booing but groaning. So Sungyeol said, ‘To be honest, we know that the fans don’t like our company, but we’re hopeful that we can slowly change that and that things will get better.’ They also said to trust them and their choice so everyone agreed. And then Woohyun threw in, ‘Honestly, they gave us the best deal.’ And Sungyeol was like wow you’re being too honest lol. Sungyeol threw the dice again and it landed on ‘Black Past’ and they talked about different embarrassing stories. I can’t remember all of them but I remember Dongwoo was sorry to Woohyun for not doing a good job on Immortal Song once. We all teased Soo for his Japanese drama from way back when. He said he has a lot so today, we can go with that. Sunggyu brought up something about Sungjong but I forget what it was about. But Sungjong got on his knees and pounded the ground but later hugged Sunggyu. Sunggyu also talked about how Sungyeol tried to copy Woohyun’s aegyo. It started cause Sunggyu said something about meeting his lovers in Hannam-dong (which is where the fanmeet was) and then he said it reminded him of Sungyeol and Sungyeol got so red and was lying face down on the ground lol. They talked about how he was jealous that Woohyun called fans his girlfriends and wives and stuff (which prompted a cute attack by Woohyun) and Gyu said once when Sungyeol was drunk in Hongdae, he said that he was going to be cute too and the very next day he saw Sungyeol call a fan ‘Jagiya’ or something along those lines lol. But he realized it didn’t suit him and then he stopped lol.. They ended it by talking about the upcoming album a bit and the solo songs. Sungjong went off stage to get ready for his solo and the boys said that his solo was very Sungjong-like and that it suited him.

So for the solo stages, Sungjong was first and we later found out his song was called ‘Confession’. He had props on stage that looked like a street with benches and stuff. It was very cute and his singing was so good too. Next was Woohyun’s ballad. It was called ‘The Same Place’ (btw, these English titles are not official). As expected of Woohyun, it was beautiful. Next up was my favorite solo, Dongwoo. This song was just so good and he looked amazing and the choreography.. yaaassss all the hip thrusts. His song was called ‘Thank God It’s Friday’ (this one has an English title). SOOOO good though guys. He wore this red fur coat and ugh i just can’t. I’ve already seen some clips of the solo stages online, so I’m sure you’ll be able to find them. Next up was Myungsoo’s ballad. The funny thing here was that he started by sitting on this box thing and this laser grid came down and cascaded him in red light and everyone was like ooooohhhh and this kinda unexpected song came out and then all of a sudden everything shut off and Myungsoo kinda giggled... the staff put on the wrong song lol. A few seconds later, Myungsoo’s real song came on and it was a ballad called ‘The Day That Passed’. Next Sunggyu comes out and the lasers start up again. The lasers were so cool tbh. Anyway, his song was kinda rock but not really, a bit Nell-ish but not really. Idk what genre it would be. Anyway, it has no title yet. I’ll get into that later. Last was Sungyeol and he did this fun upbeat song which he didn’t reveal the title of. It was very reminiscent of ‘Daddy’ lol. He had the suit and sunglasses and quirky dance thing going on again.

They all came back out doing Sungyeol’s dance and giggling, too cute. They talked about the solos and Sungjong sang a bit of his. Dongwoo said that he originally sang the guide on that song but really liked it, so he kept it, THANK GOD! Woohyun asked if Dongwoo was a vocal or a rapper and Sunggyu said he was hoping to feature on it when he heard it but Dongwoo sang it himself. Myungsoo mentioned the mishap and said he wasn’t flustered cause he’s a pro. He also said he wrote the lyrics for his song, and Sunggyu wrote the lyrics for his too. He mentioned how there’s no title yet and everyone started yelling ‘LASER’ and they couldn’t understand us, so for like a minute we were yelling laser and they were like what??? Until Woohyun said ‘1,2,3′ and we yelled laser and Sunggyu was like, well I’ll think about it lol. Sungyeol said he was considering a ballad but he wanted to end the solo stages with a high energy song and that he might do a ballad in the future. Sunggyu said that he told him to do a ballad but Sungyeol vehemently shook his head.

Next, they performed ‘Be Mine’. After the song, they did the Instagram event. For those who don’t know, there’s an official event where you can ask questions to the boys using a hashtag of the day and whoever gets picked gets a signed poster. Tbh, I really didn’t even pay attention to this part because my area was so distracting. I won’t get into the details here, but this is one of the first times I was legit angry at other fans. I know not all fans are bad people, but until this point, I was surrounded by really selfish people, and it was not a good time. Like I literally could not pay attention to the boys and what they were saying, so I apologize for the gaping hole of information lol. I do remember them saying something about getting ready for the fan meet and Woohyun was putting lots of effort and Myungsoo was just good looking and so chic sitting on the couch that it made Gyu laugh or something. Like something about one person trying so hard and the other being so effortless lol. But Sunggyu tried to make it better by saying Woohyun is the most handsome and everyone went crazy. But Woohyun said it was too late lol. I think another question was what you’d want to take from other members. I do remember fans saying ‘Height’ from Sungyeol lol. It was a long talk but I really didn’t hear it, sorry!! 

Next, they went into another segment, the best one imo! They said they were gonna do ‘Golden Bell’ and they staff proceeded to bring out these desks that had dividers between them so they couldn’t cheat. Everyone was screaming ‘Cute’ but the boys couldn’t understand. It literally went on for like 2 mins. They were like ‘Oh they can’t see us?’ and we were like ‘No, we said you’re cute!’ So fans ended up chanting ‘Cute, Cute, Cute’ and they were like ‘Oh, out of the blue?’ lol Then Sunggyu was like, ‘Okay can we explain the rules now?’ The rules were that there would be 12 questions, for each question each member gets right, they can get a stuffed animal that they will later throw into the crowd. They each get 1 Ask Inspirit Chance and 1 Double Point Chance. They also said the person with the least points will get a punishment (which Sunggyu said would def not be him). The first round was ‘Korean’. They gave only the first letter of every syllable and the boys had to guess. The first answer was ‘Over the Top’ and the second was Sungjong’s lemon candy phrase. The second round was Science. They showed a zoomed in picture of a chin and they had to guess who it was. Hyung line thought it was Myungsoo and Dongsaeng line thought it was Sunggyu. It was Sunggyu. Sungyeol said it was cause of his stubble. Sungjong said Sunggyu has big hair pores or something of the sort lol. The next pic was an outfit (body with no face) and only Sungyeol got it wrong. He thought it was Dongwoo but it was Woohyun. He asked when Woohyun had such thick thighs lol. The next was guessing lyrics. They had to finish the lyric of ‘Fixed Star’. Next they played a short clip of a song and it was so easy but Dongwoo and Sunggyu couldn’t hear it and kept asking for a repeat but Yeol was like NOPE! They did repeat it a couple times though. It was ‘Breathe’. Then they gave questions about what members have said in the past. Like one was from the interview with Sunggyu and Baby Soul about what leaders must have, ‘good looks’. Another was what phrase Sunjong kept getting wrong during ‘Real Men’. He kept calling their troop ‘New York University’ or ‘University of Education’. Another was what Woohyun said he was in charge of on Sketchbook, sentiment. Another was what Dongwoo said his lyrics on ‘Paradise’ meant, filling your desire/appetite. Another was to name 5 songs where Myungsoo starts the song. I feel like there was a question about Sungyeol but I can’t remember. Anyway, Sungjong and Woohyun got 6 and Dongwoo got 4. So he lost. Everyone else had 5.

They all said that Dongwoo lost as predicted so they brought out a wheel. Each section had different punishments. Can’t remember them all, but right as Dongwoo spun it, they were explaining what the crown meant. They said if he gets it he can pass the punishment to someone else, and of course, he landed on the crown. Woohyun started doing aegyo to Dongwoo so Dongwoo said he’s safe. Then they all lined up and started doing aegyo and he passed Sunggyu. Sungyeol was trying to plot something after he got passed and Dongwoo ended up choosing Myungsoo and Myungsoo felt very slighted lol. So Myungsoo spun and... he got the crown too! So he said the person who was supposed to be punished should be punished. Dongwoo spun again and... got the crown again lol. So he gave it back to Myungsoo. Myungsoo spun and... got Random Dance. So they played ‘Gashina’ by Sunmi and omg it was pretty good lol. I’ve seen vids up on this, so try to find one! The members were saying it was kinda lame so they put on this kind of trot-like song and he just did random things like shooting arrows and the running man and stuff lol. We then started chanting for everyone to dance but Sunggyu and Woohyun kept talking over our chants. I couldn’t hear what they were saying cause of the chants but prob something about wrapping up the segment. We were literally battling like that for a good minute but Sunggyu finally said, ‘We’re gonna perform ‘Entrust’ now’ and everyone was -__-

They performed ‘Entrust’ and then ‘Cover Girl’ and were throwing the stuffed animals they got during the quiz. Sungyeol kept trying to reach the 2nd floor and he finally did it and everyone was so surprised lol. That boy’s competitiveness lol. There was a short talk... for the life of me I can’t remember what it was about. Then they perfored ‘The Eye’. Then a curtain came down and we did our ‘Come Back Again’ chant. There was a teaser vcr for the new album and they came out and performed ‘Begin Again’. There was no choreography, just standing mics and singing with lyrics in the back. It was a cute upbeat song! They did another short talk and said goodbye. Then they performed ‘White Confession’. Dongwoo did all the raps but changed the lyrics of Hoya’s part, so everyone was really surprised! Then a last vcr came on. The bgm was ‘Thank You’ and it was hand written letters from the members. It was very cute.

Overall, the fan meeting had really good ideas. I enjoyed the segments a lot, but Woollim’s preparation was just subpar. From the mistakes on stage, to the fact that they didn’t even have all the merch when they opened up sales... ugh smh. But they did seem to try to control the crowd more. They were def more strict with time and not letting Inspirit get away with everything. But it makes sense cause the meet was already 3.5 hours, so if we got everything we wanted it would be another 4 hour meet. And then where will it ever stop? So, I understand why they were a bit more strict. I have to admit, I’m glad Woollim seemed to put more effort into what the fans want. Well, that’s it! That’s the fan account I have for today. I’ll be going to the others as well. If there’s enough material to make another fan account, I’ll def try to make some time for it. Please keep loving and supporting INFINITE and although we’re not as active as we used to be, please continue to support us as well! Just know that even if we’re not active on our blog, we both still actively love and support the boys and we always will~

Hi there! Unfortunately, we’re not too sure we can help you out here. As far as we know, the drama was only aired in Korea at some festival, but hasn’t been released outside of that. I’m actually not even too sure if it was released in China (please correct me if I’m wrong!). It seems like there are a lot of acting projects from the boys that get lost in the Twilight Zone!

Sungyeol also has another dog named Princess and used to have a hairless cat named Jureumie but I think he gave it to someone who works at Woollim... can’t remember at the top of my head. The others don’t really have pets that are theirs, but are their family’s. Sungjong’s family has two dogs, Nari and Kongi. Woohyun’s family has a dog named Kongddeok and Dongwoo’s family has (had?) a dog named Ddori. To be honest, there hasn’t been a lot of updates on the pets recently, so I might be wrong/outdated. If I am or I’m missing anything, please let me know!

We love providing everyone with subs but they take up so much of our time, that unless it’s a full group thing or maybe a special exception, we prob won’t do it. Thank you a lot for your fan account<3 I always love to read them. I'm curious about something. Why do people associate Sunggyu with strawberries. Sorry, I don't know a lot of INFINITE history. Are there blogs or other places that will help me to know them better? Like facts like that about them and other stuffs? Thank you

Hi hi! The main reason Sunggyu has been associated with strawberries so much is because of 2 things. During his first solo album, his hair was died super red and fans gave him the nickname strawberry gyu. I think it’s just one of those nicknames that just made sense and Koreans love their fruit I guess lol. Woohyun had a Grape Namu nickname at one point too. Anyway, the second reason is because he went out on ‘Immortal Song’ when he was promoting ‘Another Me’ and stuffed his face with strawberries. I think he mentioned later in an interview that he was just so hungry and that was what was on the table. But there are lots of vids you can look up of him gulping like 3 strawberries in like 10 seconds lol. Anyway, hope that helps! BEST fan account ever! Thank you for your awesome detailed time at Infinite's Fan Gathering 3! I watched a lot of fan cams & tried to piece the night together, and with your post it pulled everything together & added so much more! It also helped me understand a lot of things since I can't understand the language. I was afraid that they would edit a lot of it but it looks like the only thing they really edited was the encore fan chant! If you have the chance, buy the DVD! Thank you so much for writing the fan account about Rally III! I've been going through lots of videos of it in the last couple days trying to enjoy everything since I wasnt there, but I know like 2% korean so I couldnt understand anything on the ments ;; but you talking about it made me understand all the videos I saw ❤ Also, I've been on edge and really emotional about the contract renewal thing but hearing that the boys kinda hinted at staying together I'm so relieved and happy, thanks a lot!❤

This is sooooooo late but thank you so much for the sweet message. I know things have changed since the fan gathering, but as long as all of the boys are happy, we will be happily supporting them too. If you haven’t had a chance to buy the DVD, I really recommend it! I’ve watched it far too many times already and the boys do not disappoint. It’s like the gathering was yesterday! It was by far my favorite moment as an Inspirit!
