REQUEST BATTLES OF WITCHES DUELS - Battle 64: Skara vs Gus Porter
Disclaimer: This is not a popularity contest or which character you prefer; in this tournament, you decide who is stronger/better/smarter/etc. opponent.

Information for both opponents under the cut to those who don't know what they can do in their battle:
Skara:
Skara specializes in the bard track. For this tournament, I allow Skara to have a powerset established by MoringMark's comics due to him fleshing out her capabilities in the "A Hint of Blue" comic storyline and his comics being beloved by the fan base. And not only that. Her instrument of choice is lyra.
Skara is established to be an excellent strategist in ASIAS, and she's an experienced athlete in both grudgby and flyer derby. She also showed some fiery spirit in LR, and judging by her becoming a new teacher at Hexside, she seems quite proficient in magic. Granted, usually in battles, she didn't showcase impressive feats.
Skara and Gus are friends and teammates. Those two don't have much interaction on-screen, but they do seem to get along, leaving Skara's past as Boscha's lackey behind. Skara doesn't mind Gus at all.

Skara does possess a Palisman, and she showed she is capable of staff wielding. She seems to be a decent flyer, but she was also the first one to be taken out during the flyer derby match, suggesting she doesn't have enough skill or defenses to shield herself from being knocked out in midair or performing any serious aerial attacks.

One of the tools I'm willing to give Skara, regardless of everything, is flying boots. She can use them for transportation and aerial attacks even when she doesn't possess a palisman during the battle, and she can use them to save herself from fall damage if she ever is knocked out midair.

Another tool I'm willing to give her is the bag of tentacles she used in Once Upon a Swap to prank people. She can occasionally throw some of them at the battlefield to create tentacle traps. Skara doesn't control them, though, so the tentacles could attack her as well.

Arrow Strike - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can release a single arrow using her magic, which can be used offensively. The arrow is strong enough to pierce through magical barriers. Requires an instrument.
Arrow Storm - a MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can release multiple arrows at once, using her magic for offensive purposes. Requires an instrument.
Beat Box Shockwave - a MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can release a shockwave all around herself by beatboxing. She can utilise it to push away anything coming her way, even her opponents. The range, however, isn't particularly big.
Willpower Increase - MoringMark exclusive ability. Playing her instrument can help her regain her strength and clear her mind. It can be used to refresh herself during the battle. Requires an instrument.
Sonic Whistle - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara, by whistling, can release sonic waves that can be used to distract or even immobilize her opponents due to the noise hurting the ears of everyone hearing her whistle. It, however, won't work on deaf opponents.
Thunder Wave - a MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can create a thunderstorm, with lightning directly striking her opponents. It's Skara's strongest offensive capability. Requires her instrument. Skara can release multiple lightning bolts one after another, dealing even more damage to her enemies. Skara can also choose where her lightning strikes.
Thunder Strike - inspired by Skara utilising her palismen in LR, I decided to give Skara the ability to charge up either her fist or maybe a leg or even her entire body with electric energy to increase the force with which she would hit her enemies.
Snow Spell - as demonstrated in Something Ventured, Someone Framed, Skara learned how to create snow. She will usually display it as a simple snowball or snow blast attack

Fire Spell - as demonstrated in Something Ventured, Someone Framed, Skara to create snow can also create fire. She will usually use this ability specifically to throw a single fireball.

Gus Porter:
Gus Porter is a prodigy when it comes to illusion magic. Prodigious enough to skip a few grades and even defeat the coven head of illusions with his sheer raw power. Gus displays insane potential and a big imagination when it comes to his magic. Now, his powers are still limited by his own imagination and creativity, meaning his illusions, for the most part, can be used mostly for deception and distraction, but during this tournament, Gus finally revised his own skill to find even offensive capabilities of his powers. While Gus did display the willingness to study other tracks, he ultimately never did due to his reassurance in being a master illusionist, how easy it comes to him, and how much he can do with illusions alone.
One must know how intelligent Gus is during his battles. He can easily fool and toy with his opponents thanks to his illusions, and Gus is also not afraid to either mock or straight-up torture his enemies during his battle just to get the results he needs, and he has more than enough raw power to pull his schemes to their fullest. It's worth noting that when Gus feels extreme emotions, his magic only gets amplified, however, the side effects could be that Gus actually loses control over his own powers and gets to be the victim of them too, though thankfully, to the magical amplifier from Graye, the risk of that is less.

Gus does possess a Palisman and is known to be an utter speed demon. Gus doesn't fly in a traditional sense like most other competitors due, to preferring to surf in the air, but this only further allows him to still cast spells while midair, which mixed with his capacity to trick his opponents more dangerous. It's hard to tell however how good he is in combat with his staff, but it appears he knows how to battle with it if he still used it as a means to fight in LR when briefly facing Hunter.

Gus and Skara are good friends and teammates. They don't have much interaction in canon, but they seem to be on good terms, and Gus doesn't hold grudges against Skara despite her being Boscha's former lackey. He did ask her to train him before he could face Viney.

One of the artifacts I allow Gus to have independently regarding whether or not his opponent also has any supportive gear is the looking glass earring he got after he defeated Adrian. The magical amplifier allows Gus to further concentrate his raw power into specific abilities he has a hard time pulling on his own and even enhancing them in the process, growing more powerful.

Light Spell - as proven in UW, Gus is capable of utilising light spells. Gus can use it to either illuminate the terrain or blind his opponents with it. He can produce multiple blinding orbs at once with his power and will usually use it in tandem with absolute darkness to make the light orbs all the more effective. He can also create quite large orbs of light.

Telekinesis - Gus displayed the capacity to move multiple objects with his mind. Usually, the objects are rather small, and it appears Gus can't use telekinesis on a person, but he can utilise this ability offensively to throw projectiles at his opponent or to potentially deflect incoming attacks if they're little projectiles, too.

Glamour - Unlike other examples of battle-royal glamour, Gus can use his glamour in 1v1 scenarios thanks to his ability to create clones and entities of any kind. This means Gus can easily disguise himself among the crowd as he can create a crowd himself. Gus is capable of taking the form of anyone he desires or merely amplifying the form he already has (like putting on additional clothes or features like devil's legs).

Mini Clones - Gus is capable of creating mini clones of himself (usually up to 3) that can be used to nag his opponents, as seen in TTLGR.

Illusion Clones - Gus is capable of creating huge numbers of clones. The clones can take the shape of himself or even other people. The clones usually don't display the capacity of the people they were cloned from but can develop a personality of their own. They still remain obedient to Gus and can be used as a great distraction. This ability also allows Gus to use his Glamour ability. The close will disappear upon impact.

Strength Enhancement - Gus is capable of enhancing the strength of his illusions, himself, or even others and the magic of others, as proven in the First Day when Gus created buff arms for Willow's plant monster. The enhancement is still illusionary in nature.

Camouflage - as proven throughout the series, Gus can disguise himself and remove himself from the sight of his opponents. He can also do it to large chunks of areas or other people. As seen in KT, he can also make his disappearance cover in flying birds. He could also potentially create bushes to camouflage himself, as shown in Hooty's Moving Hassle.

Illusion Teleport - Whether it's camouflage hiding his movement or true teleportation, Gus can reappear wherever he pleases with a puff of smoke. The range of it doesn't seem big, though. It was demonstrated during Covention.

Light Construct - Gus is capable of creating constructs of poor light. Usually, unlike the illusions, they don't necessarily look like real objects but energy taken the shape of objects but can be used as effectively by creating tools Gus needs during the battle.

Illusion Construct - a stronger version of Light Construct. Gus is capable of creating constructs that seem like real objects. Gus showcased it throughout the series.
Illusion Beast - a stronger version of his illusion clones, where Gus is capable of creating living beings that are illusions. Said beings can take any form, be it mirror and gender-inverted versions of their opponents or completely unrelated beings. Usually, however, the said beings don't necessarily have true power of their own and are nothing but a mirage, though Gus potentially could create the illusion of damage they cause thanks to his strength-enhancing ability.

Absolute Darkness - Gus is capable of covering the entire battlefield in absolute darkness that can camouflage him and disorient his opponents. The darkness can be dispelled with enough force, though it's usually more durable than most of Gus's illusions. Gus can utilise this ability to hide his true intentions and sneak attacks.

Illusion Terrain - Gus is capable of changing the terrain with his illusion magic however he pleases, taking the shape of anything from Gus's memory. Be it his room, the carnival, the graveyard, whatever. The said technique can be used to confuse and disorient his opponents. Gus is also capable of making the terrain switch from one imaginary to another. Sometimes, the terrain can actually perfectly match the terrain that is beneath the illusion. It is also very difficult to cancel.

Illusion-Shifting Terrain - an amplified version of the previous attack; in this case, the terrain is constantly shifting and moving, completely covering the battlefield, which can disorient and confuse the opponent. Also, so many details at once constantly changing could give people some serious headaches with sensory overload.

Magic Cancel - not a real magic cancel, but with the help of Illusion Terrain, Gus is capable of making people believe their magic circles have no effect.

Sensory Confusion - as proven in TTLGR, Gus managed to somewhat successfully convince Bria that her hands were missing.

Traumatic Re-memory - Gus is capable of using his magic to get inside the heads of his opponents to make them re-live their worst memories. Gus can use this ability to learn the weaknesses of his opponents or render them completely useless as they are stuck in their own heads. The only person that is known to be able to resist this ability is Hunter, as in some cases, it could stick for a long time, depending on how strong-willed Gus's opponents are. This is Gus's most painful attack.

Trauma Bubble - a technique of traumatic re-memory. Rather than focusing his magic to invade the mind of someone, Gus creates a bubble of pure magical energy that anyone who touches it would begin to re-live their worst memories. The side effect of this shield is that Gus could also potentially be stuck inside the bubble for some time before managing to dispel it.

Mind Illusion - a variation of traumatic re-memory that isn't necessarily harmful but is the ultimate culmination of Gus's illusionary prowess by making his opponents stuck in the maze of illusion that is solely inside their heads. Demonstrated by Hunter, who was completely disoriented by Gus's illusion, not being capable of seeing where Gus truly is and wandering from place to place that did not even exist. The illusions could be Gus's memories, his opponents' memories, or just illusionary images.

LOSERS BATTLE OF WITCHES DUELS - Battle 63: Bria vs Edric Blight

Bria:

Bria specializes in construction magic without any signs of being interested in other tracks, especially considering she considers them "inferior".
Bria is an absolutely skilled witch who prefers brute strength and talent over anything. She isn't, however, easy to fool or intimidate. She's daring and adventurous and ambitious. She can also be two-faced and deceitful by appearing nice and fair only to drop the facade when she has the high ground or no interest in playing nice. She may, however, struggle from PTSD caused by Gus, so while she's not easy to intimidate, she could potentially end up being triggered by events considered "supernatural" or near Gus or if she feels like losing her powers.
Palismen are not allowed in this fight.
Bria is losing it as she loses her position in the rankings. She's now extra determined to preserve it, so she hopes that at least the twin brother of her previous opponents won't defeat her. She literally cannot let this happen as her pride is at stake.
Bria's tool in this tournament, independent of whether or not other competitors also possess it, is her sword. She can utilise it in combat or to cut through things standing in her way, like bushes.

Rock Spike - Bria can create a rock spike that can be used for offensive purposes. It is also proven to be quite destructive, as seen in TTLGR.

Rock Pillar - Bria can create rock pillars of various lengths and sizes. She's also capable of creating pillars within the pillars she created. Said ability could be used if Bria needs a high ground, for defensive purposes to block attacks, potential transport, or even offensive purposes.

Earth Capture - Bria can encase her opponents on Earth as she demonstrated in TTLGR when she restrained a Slitherbeast. The move could be considered a finishing blow unless Bria's opponent has enough brute force (and by that, I mean a lot, stronger than Slitherbeast) to burst through her trap. However, she will usually utilise said ability if she assumes her opponent can't fight back.

Edric Blight

While it is confirmed that Edric possesses a palisman (either moth or butterfly, it was never specified) since we never saw it in the show and we have no idea how proficient Edric is with it, I shall not include this in the tournament, and anyone who fights him will also not have their palismen to even the chances
One of the tools Edric can use during his battles independently of whether or not his opponent also possesses any is fireworks. That's right: Edric brings fireworks to the battlefield and can use them offensively. Due to how illegal and unstable they are and how Edric landed in the healing coven multiple times due to them, they're noted to be particularly destructive and unpredictable meaning any outcome can be achieved (either they hurt only Edric, they hurt his opponent or both or neither - the rule of random applies here so do whatever you want with it).

Edric Blight is pretty chaotic and airheaded but can also be clever and sneaky. He can focus on both offense and deception. Granted, at times, he tends to not think things through and can make rash decisions that can and will blow up in his face. He specializes in Potions, Illusion, and Beast-Keeping magic, making him a pretty strong and skilled all-rounder, even if he can be pretty impulsive.

Restraining Magic - Edric is capable of creating a lasso made out of light that can be used to restrain his enemies. We saw it when he tried this with Slitherbeast. However, Edric can also enhance any lasso or tie to specifically bind a particular target he has in mind as of Reaching Out, meaning it can be very difficult, even for stronger opponents, to break away from his bonds.

Explosive Potions - Edric is capable of brewing potions that explode upon shattering and thus can be used offensively but also as a distraction and defense (the best defense is offense and the best offense is defense, after all). Edric can throw multiple potions at once or in a row. He will usually have multiple at hand.

Transformation Potion - Edric improvised and created a potion that can alter the appearance of the drinker. Edric has the recipe and antidote (plenty of ice packs) at hand to either use this potion or on himself to transform into a stronger and "draconic" version of themselves (demonstrated on Warden Wrath, though aside from his appearance and enhanced abilities, he didn't seem to display new ones). The potion allows the user to gain immense strength, sharp claws, spikes, and horns, and is much bigger in size, however, it comes at the expense of rational thinking, turning the user into a wild animal. So Edric either transforms and hopes and prays he can quiet down his instincts enough to apply ice packs on himself, or he uses it to confuse his enemies and hope they won't hurt him too much. After the potion's effects get canceled, the user gets nauseous and is incapable of further fighting. He will usually only have a few at hand, though.

Truth Potion - Edric brewed those before battle with enough patience to not mess them up so he could use them safely. Their capacity on the battlefield usually extends to tricking the enemy into either drinking them or inhaling them and making them confess their weaknesses out loud. He will usually have a few at hand, though.

Snow Magic - when training with Amity, he did display that he can use snow to his advantage, though he only used it to sink Amity into the ground, which would be only possible if the area's ground was always snow, but for that, I have a different spell in mind. Edric can create simple snow blasts with it or use it to immobilise his opponents by creating enough snow around them to bury them in it.
Sinking Magic - Edric is capable of making the ground sink beneath the feet of his opponents if they're distracted enough. He demonstrated it when training with Amity, and I'm making it a full-blown ability that can be hard to counter but not impossible if the opponent can dig through any surface. Be it snow or ground (though probably not metals, considering how solid and refined they are).

Telekinesis - Edric displays an ability to move objects with ease. He can, in fact, lift his opponents and move them through great distances just fine, granted it works best on distracted opponents. He can also use this ability to throw projectiles of various sizes (though the biggest one probably won't be bigger than your average person who can be tall).

Illusion Casting - Edric is capable of casting any illusion of any object or even a living being. Said illusions can interact with the real world just fine (so he can, for example, create ammo as Amity threw at him "Hex me" papers he created himself and knocked him out with it). His illusions normally are fragile, but with his beast magic, he can strengthen them to make it harder to dispel them.

Illusion Clone - Edric is capable of creating a clone of anyone he desires, granted it's usually one clone at a time, as proven in EGF when he created a clone of Eda. The clone could potentially mimic the abilities of the people they took shape from, but it's more than often just an illusion. They could also take upon the personality of anyone they were cloned from.

Trap Illusions - Edric can create illusions that can transform into barriers upon contact with them. This can restrain his opponents while still allowing Edric to be able to touch and affect them (like Venetian mirror)

Camouflage - Now I'm not sure whether or not Edric can cast it on his own or if it requires a team effort, but in LR once Bump made a stand against the EC, all the other students would appear after the illusion of camouflage was dispelled, so I'll allow all illusion casters that were part of this to be capable to at least hide out of sight temporarily, so Edric now can use this ability to stay hidden for short time during the battle.

Bat Companion - now Edric may not possess a palisman, but he can use his pet bat during battles, sending it out to attack his opponents or distract them with it. To what extent the bat will listen is, however, limited, though enough for the bat to not attack Edric.

Beast Luring - this was more or less proven in Reaching Ou how easier it was to lure out beasts. Edric needed to use his beast-keeping magic so he could bring back any beast to the battlefield with his knowledge. However, said beasts will probably not listen to Edric at all.

WILD CARD OF WITCHES DUELS - Battle 62: Amity Blight vs Hunter The Golden Guard
Disclaimer: This is not a popularity contest or which character you prefer; in this tournament, you decide who is stronger/better/smarter/etc. opponent.
Extra Disclaimer: I'll go more into details in their personal info too but I'd like to remind everyone that during Eclipse Lake, the objective of their first battle was not to outbest one another but get away with the key, and in the actual combat they ultimately tied so do not use Eclipse Lake battle argument about how either of them wiped the floor with one another (mostly Amity) because that's not what happened, please and thank you. Make this guess fair and stick to the rules of the original disclaimer about showing no biases or favoritism.

Amity Blight:

Amity Blight naturally specializes in Abomination Magic the most, but she has the capacity to know spells of other tracks like Plants and Illusion, but it's very limited.

The timeline of this battle happens between the final battle with Belos and the epilogue, meaning Hunter and Amity are FRIENDS. There is no bad blood between them anymore as they were living in Noceda's household for months with no issues whatsoever, and they assisted one another plenty of times. Amity doesn't hate Hunter and there is no canonical rivalry between them (you can still include headcanons of them being rivals of course, but they must be RIVALS, no "Amity's bullying Hunter", no "Amity and Hunter have beef", no "typical in-laws behavior" (perhaps if you make them just siblings or stepsiblings then I'd allow pettiness be involved), no "Amity mistrusts Hunter" I want none of that). I am sincerely done with misconceptions that surround those two, so please restrain yourself from bringing them to MY blog. As I was saying, those two are friends, and yes, they did fight before, and Amity does acknowledge it. However, Amity acknowledges how the fight between them the last time was in no way fair, so this time, she's actually willing to make this fight clear between both of them (no help from King, no picking on him at his worst, fighting him only at his best). Amity does not hold grudge over what happened last time, but she still acknowledges that last time even with Hunter not being in his best mental state STILL gave her run for her money, so this time around she's not holding back because she knows that otherwise she won't have any chances of winning and the blame will be solely on her. Amity is currently motivated to fight for both her high placement in the tournament and for Luz's sake, considering how disappointing Luz's battle with Hunter was.

Amity is a very skilled, talented, cool-headed, and pragmatic fighter. Hardly does she lose composure when battling even strong opponents, displaying plenty of agility and athleticism (as shown in her battle with Hunter and Grom, which is also given considering she was a former captain of the grudgby team at Hexside), and can be both a powerhouse using plenty of strength or a mastermind coming up with tricks on the fly while outsmarting her opponents with her skillset. Very dangerous, and even more so once she puts more passion into her battle. Hardly there are any weak spots or flaws in her battling style, but she can still be overpowered. Abomination Magic, in particular, feels to be weaker than Construction Magic, for example, and it can be rendered useless when dealing in an environment with no mud. Granted, Amity holds abomination goo with her, so at most, she's going to be weakened. Amity is capable of controlling any slime or mud she comes in contact with.

Amity does wield a Palisman named Ghost and according to herself, she's a "safe flyer". This means she's overall pretty proficient and skilled in her flying capabilities, but at the same time, it means she's not a real aerial ace like Luz or Hunter for example. She's skilled enough to not easily fall off by herself, but as proven in her battles with Hunter (both EL and TTT), she's not fast enough to necessarily avoid being hit in midair. Granted she can still be faster than average and have better reflexes than average, but still not enough to beat some real aerial aces. She is proficient in staff-wielding, being capable of using it to enhance her own spells.

Hunter The Golden Guard:

Hunter "Insert your preferred surname/s for him", also known as a former and the youngest Golden Guard in history, head of the Emperor's Coven, Emperor Belos's right-hand man. One must know that unlike other contestants (aside from Luz) he's not constricted to specific covens and tracks since as a former leader of the coven that allows all kinds of magic, Hunter will have expertise in all types of coven magic as well, and he's also very dedicated to studying wild magic.

Hunter is extra motivated to win fair and square and put everything out there because he knows that if he loses to Amity here, his battle with Willow will no longer matter as the grand finale of this tournament, and his victory against Luz in their battle would be considered fraudulent.

Hunter himself was also known as a genius teen prodigy and is undeniably a child soldier who was raised by both hell and the library to get to the very top. While he was born magicless, it did not stop him from earning his title as the right-hand man of the most powerful witch of the Boiling Isles. Hunter spends days and nights both training and learning everything about magic both as a duty and as fun. He's incredibly knowledgeable regarding all kinds of magic, meaning it's hard to actually surprise him with anything. And since he's a child soldier raised in a magical military with no magic by himself, Hunter had to survive hell even worse than some of the adults that also were part of this coven went through, and he survived it all. Hunter has already been to countless witches' duels beforehand, he made it several times through a maze full of traps, and judging by how he calls getting from the top to the bottom of the mountain alive "a classic", this might as well suggest that this Hunter's version of "summer camp", as he did that numerous times and he considers it "fond memories". Hunter without a doubt has the most experience among all participants when it comes to battling because you know Belos never gave him a break or easy time, and for Hunter to be where he is today is all thanks to his own strength, intelligence, and resilience.

Hunter certainly has one of the strongest wills among all characters in TOH, as despite going through a ridiculous amount of pain, he is capable of brushing it off and pushing forward, with his only weakness being Belos. Hunter's willpower was even able to withstand Gus's trauma bubble which specifically puts you through your worst memories and even renders you useless, but Hunter resisted its effect and calmed Gus down instead, despite his pain being very fresh and severe and Hunter in fact not being ok with it, but Hunter keeps on going anyway. One must know it's very hard to break him, trust Belos, he tried but didn't succeed. Hunter even managed to resist Belos's possession for some time, which is a lot considering Belos was his abuser and had power over him metaphorically and physically in that moment.

Hunter displayed throughout the series to have some great athletic skills and agility, being able to keep up pace with running Luz without breaking a sweat while proving he has experience in parkour and acrobatics as seen in him flying on staff. Certainly, he can use his skills to evade incoming attacks with his reflexes while keeping up with his opponents and close distance between him and his enemies. He also has plenty of brute strength at his disposal as well, considering he managed to shatter falling debris by just swinging his staff in one hand.

Hand-To-Hand Combat - Hunter has proven to be efficient in hand-to-hand combat throughout the series. While Hunter overall plays more on defense as a protector rather than offense, he is not afraid to throw a punch. This post goes more in-depth about Hunter's proficiency in staff-wielding, but I will explain some of it here too. Hunter as a trained soldier and experienced martial artist has his body be his weapon. He knows how the body works and has great control over it. He defeated both Luz and Eda in his debut with a quick kick while evading their attack, straight-up toyed with Kikimora, and had to be put to sleep to be restrained by coven scouts as he was still fighting and kicking. This also gives him a huge advantage against other competitors who are used to fighting across distance, whereas Hunter fights at a close range.

Back in EC Hunter learned how to be smart, resourceful, and strong, and as I've mentioned before multiple times, he's a child soldier. His opponents usually underestimate him, but he's not the one to be crossed. His victories compromise of defeating Eda and Luz on 2v1 in his debut; immediately defeating Luz in HP once he's recovered; defeating Kikimora in HP; and Tying with Amity in EL after being physically and mentally exhausted, in 2v1 with King (who was rather defeated by Hunter in this duel), while wielding a completely new staff and restraining himself to not kill her but just getting the key; winning flyer derby game on his first try; catching Darius off-guard (which is a feat with Darius's great reflexes); making a strong glyph combo on his very first try; resisting Gus's trauma bubble; kicking ass during Hexside against EC battle; he was defeated twice by coven scouts, which while fair, was also due to his poor condition and the second time he had to be put to sleep to be restrained; handling abomatons and scouts with rest of the Hexsquad during S2 finale; standing his ground and protecting Hexsquad from Belos while being severely weakened in KT; breaking through Willow's vines in FtF with his freshly awakened powers.

Hunter now is sub-merged with Flapjack meaning he does not require staff anymore to cast spells as magic now comes from within. What's more, I allow Hunter to also levitate/fly without the help of any staff. This is more of a fanon ability, but it's supposed to connect him to having the powers of a palisman (but no, he can't turn into a staff, nor is wooden) and abilities of a palisman are usually just enhanced abilities of the holder, meaning flight is in capacity of any witch, but all of them utilise staff since flight on its own is probably hard spell to pull off, but Hunter should do just fine for the sake of this tournament.

And now finally, let's talk about his staff. For the purposes of this tournament, I will give Hunter Waffles. You know Hunter is the best staff wielder in the entire tournament only rivaled by Luz. I already mentioned how Hunter is absolutely proficient with his staff, utilizing it for both offensive and very effective strikes and flawless defense. Hunter is also a real aerial ace capable of flying at high speeds with agility to dodge attacks and is capable of even surfing on his staff as demonstrated when he showed off in ASIAS. His flying skills were also decisive in both forming EE and winning their very first game together.

Could you make profiles of all the other characters’ spells, abilities, powers and tools that haven’t been in the tournament? (Ex: Vee, King, Belos, Collector, Eda, etc)
The characters I specifically excluded from the tournament just won't get profiles because they hardly have abilities that can qualify because they are either too weak, too overpowered, or straight-up unspecified. (Vee in the canon is pretty weak even though she possesses abilities that can be straight-up broken if used correctly; Masha and Camila don't have canonically explained what their powerset would even be like, The Collector and King are pretty much deities but the Collector doesn't show his entire potential and King didn't even discover his true potential yet so I can't do much for them). The characters I specifically excluded are: background extras, human characters except Luz (and Belos but about it in the minute), Vee, the Collector and the Archivists, and King and the Titans.
However, adult characters shall have their own tournament, meaning that characters like Eda and Belos and other main adult cast members WILL have their character profiles. Granted, the adult tournament will proceed the moment I finish a teenage one and due to having quite a busy time at uni, I don't think I will manage to finish it. At best,t I can start this week some battles here and there if I find a moment but as of now the tournament is on hiatus for at least until summer, then I will have proper time to take care of it (unless I'll find a job).

Extra Disclaimer: To reassure the shippers that shall come across this post, Luz and Amity ARE NOT forced to battle each other. They're not doing this with heavy heart, against their will, or with any hard feelings behind it. This isn't a grudge, or a major fight within the couple, or a break-up, not at all. This is their 💖DATE💖. Luz and Amity are fine fighting in this duel because to them it's essentially their date. They promised each other they will see each other in the finals and here they are. They're both each other's biggest cheerleader in this battle while also going all out and having a lot of fun while doing this. This is essentially the anniversary of the first time they got to know their true selves to one another and they're making it very cheesy, and sappy, and all way round beautiful.
Hence I'm telling you TO NOT make them tie. In the end, this is still a duel and there can be only one winner. Luz and Amity don't mind who it will be in the end as they're happy either way so DO NOT try to make them tie. If I catch any of you telling people in the notes to make them tie, I'm blocking you and re-doing the post all over again without your input. If Lumity ties they're both disqualified from the tournament and all their previous battles are completely erased. Let the girls have fun and pick who's the better fighter between them, even if you love them both. To them, it doesn't matter who wins or who loses, as long as both of them remain in the tournament. Amity Blight naturally specializes in Abomination Magic the most, but she does so capacity in knowing spells of other tracks like Plants and Illusion, but it's very limited.

Amity and Luz are girlfriends who love each other very much and by the time of this tournament, their relationship is as strong as ever. They both promised each other to meet in the finals and Amity is more than happy that she managed to keep her promise despite the odds. Nonetheless, both girls are having fun and flexing and don't necessarily have a clear desire to win. Their battle is a dance and the winner gets the kisses 💜💜💜

Amity is a very skilled, talented, cool-headed, and pragmatic fighter. Hardly does she lose composure when battling even strong opponents, displaying plenty of agility and athleticism (as shown in her battle with Hunter and Grom, which is also given considering she was a former captain of the grudgby team at Hexside), and can be both a powerhouse using plenty of strength or a mastermind coming up with tricks on the fly while outsmarting her opponents with her skillset. Very dangerous, and even more so once she puts more passion into her battle. Hardly there are any weak spots or flaws in her battling style, but she can still be overpowered. Abomination Magic in particular feels to be weaker than Construction Magic for example, and it can be rendered useless when dealing in an environment with no mud. Granted Amity holds abomination goo with her so at most, she's going to be weakened. Amity is capable of controlling any slime or mud she comes in contact with.

Amity does wield a Palisman named Ghost and according to herself, she's a "safe flyer". This means she's overall pretty proficient and skilled in her flying capabilities, but at the same time, it means she's not a real aerial ace like Luz or Hunter for example. She's skilled enough to not easily fall off by herself, but as proven in her battles with Hunter (both EL and TTT), she's not fast enough to necessarily avoid being hit in midair. Granted she can still be faster than average and have better reflexes than average, but still not enough to beat some real aerial aces. She is proficient in staff-wielding, being capable of using it to enhance her own spells.

Luz Noceda, the protagonist of our story, is one and only. Unlike other competitors, Luz is a rare example of a jack of all trades who does not specialize in one specific magical track and studies all of them. Normally, Luz specializes in glyphs but according to the lore of my own tournament which happens after the final battle with Belos, Luz no longer has access to glyphs. However, she now does have a magical staff that allows her to still be able to cast spells just fine as proven by Owlbert in Young Blood, Old Souls. Now, since my rules specify how at times you're not allowed to use palismen in the battle, Luz is capable of avoiding this rule thanks to String Bean's shape-shifting nature, as String Bean possibly could transform into an accessory that would allow Luz to cast a spell like everyone is none the wiser, or maybe even shape-shift into an instrument to mimic bard magic (even though Luz has no vibration based spells). Outside of that Luz would also have access to some other supporting artifacts.

When it comes to Luz's fighting style, she in general prefers to outsmart and outpower her opponents with the raw strength of her magic. Luz has come far ever since she started to learn magic, currently with String Bean by her side she certainly is now more accustomed to spell-casting. Luz is quite proficient with magic now coming up with new creative ways to utilise her magic. She also now has more experience in combat meaning she's more willing to take down her opponents head-on. Luz can however be pretty reckless and impulsive when approaching her opponents, biting more than she can chew and sometimes jumping without thinking. Luz can however be quick on her feet and easily recover and come up with new ways to get an upper hand during battles.

Luz possesses now her own palisman as we all know it which happens to be none other than String Bean. String Bean showed that with her presence, Luz could be even stronger than she used to be, and Luz had plenty of experience with Owlbert beforehand to know how to use a witch's staff. Luz is a true aerial ace as Eda's Requiem episode proves as she could've won the race if it wasn't for King. She of course also knows how to correctly cast spells with staff alone and can use it in combat. String Bean also has a unique ability of shape-shifting, which allows her to take on features of other creatures and use them to her advantage. Granted she can't change size with the ability so all animals will be miniature, but it can come in handy nonetheless, and she could possibly change String Bean into other objects (like jewelry or instruments) in case she can't use witch's staff.

Luz shall be allowed a multitude of tools to help her out during battles. One of them happens to be a crystal ball from her oracle class. Luz can use it to conjure up a single ghost that can be used to help Luz aid in the battle and also predict Luz's future. The ghost is usually chill but rather helpful. It's intangible meaning it's immune to physical attacks for the most part (but can be dispelled with special attacks) and can phase through solid objects to get to its opponents and be capable of touching them to inflict harm.

Another tool Luz would be allowed to use is tea leaves from oracle class which would also help her learn about her opponents, what they're capable of, and what they're going to do.

Luz is also equipped with a training wand in case she needs another source of magic to cast spells from. It's like a hidden dagger if someone would take her sword (as in her staff, I'm clearly alluding to Sasha Waybright's example) away.

Another tool Luz is free to use is her iconic bat which Luz can use for offensive purposes. Luz is allowed to have and use other weapons like a mace and a sword to aid her in the time of her need.

And of course, how could I not forget that Luz also has fireworks to help her in a fight to add more to her firepower.

While Luz doesn't have beast-keeping magic at all, she does seem to have an affinity to be able to tame most of the wild beasts as presented throughout the entire show with her knowledge and attitude. This means Luz is not really affected much by beast-keepers sending animals in her direction unless they're directly under the command of their masters (as in like pets. Sometimes some beasts are untamed and would not follow even the beast-keeper).

Luz also has brought snakes to her battle as she managed to tame them just enough so they would not attack her but certainly would attack her opponents. They're not venomous though considering now pressed any charges when Luz brought them to school. She will bring a few of them.

Another animal that Luz would bring with her to the battlefield are spiders. They're mostly used to just scare people during the fight by pouring them all over her opponents. Can be used as a great distraction. She has quite big number of them and she can even naturally attract them as seen in TtT. The spiders are also not harmful and Luz is not phased by them either.

Smoke Potion - Another tool Luz would be granted to use is a smoke potion she could brew as seen in the First Day. Luz could potentially utilize it as a smokescreen or suffocation attempt.

Skara specializes in the bard track. For the purposes of this tournament, I allow Skara to have a powerset established by MoringMark's comics due to him fleshing out her capabilities in the "A Hint of Blue" comic storyline and his comics being beloved by the fan base. And not only. Her instrument of choice is lyra.
Skara is established to be an excellent strategist in ASIAS and she's an experienced athlete in both grudgby and flyer derby. She also did show some fiery spirit in LR and judging by her becoming a new teacher at Hexside, she seems to be quite proficient in magic, granted usually in battles she didn't showcase impressive feats.
Skara and Amity used to be friends, but once Amity left Boscha's friend group, they essentially stopped hanging out as in the end, they never really were truly friends. Granted, Amity's departure hurt Skara as she considered Amity her friend even if it was one-sided. During this tournament, she took out this frustration on Amity's sister. Skara is calmer and caught a bit off guard, so she still gets to fight Amity, especially right after her date with Luz. So Skara is a bit intimidated even though Skara and Amity are now on good terms again even if not close friends anymore. It's really just awkward now.

Skara does possess a Palisman and she showed she is capable of staff wielding. Sonic Whistle - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara by whistling can release sonic waves that can be used to distract or even immobilize her opponents due to the noise hurting the ears of everyone hearing her whistle. It however won't work on deaf opponents.
Thunder Wave - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can create a thunderstorm with lightning directly striking her opponents. It's Skara's strongest offensive capability. Requires her instrument. Skara can release multiple lightnings one after another dealing even more damage to her enemies. Skara can also choose where her lightning strikes too.
Thunder Strike - inspired by Skara utilising her palismen in LR, I decided to give Skara the ability to be able to charge up either her fist or maybe a leg or even her entire body with electric energy to increase the force in which she would hit her enemies.
Snow Spell - as demonstrated in Something Ventured, Someone Framed, Skara learned how to create snow. She will usually display it as a simple snowball or snow blast attack

She does however feel awkward on how Amity ghosting her hurt Skara so she's willing to make up for it and is in general in good mood after her date with Luz, so she's taking her time to let Skara come in terms with her own feelings and prepare herself for her battle with Hunter.

Hunter The Golden Guard:
I will only mention moves by names rather than delve into specifics as they're too large for that. In the name (with a few exceptions for the sake of clarification for some), there's a link to more of Hunter's capabilities.
Skara and Hunter are friends and teammates. Hunter originally underestimated Skara but he has grown to acknowledge and respect her strategic abilities. He does feel awkward fighting her but to be fair, she's certainly a better sparring partner than Matt.

Hunter "Insert your preferred surname/s for him", also known as a former and the youngest Golden Guard in history, head of the Emperor's Coven, Emperor Belos's right-hand man. One must know that unlike other contestants (aside from Luz) he's not constricted to specific covens and tracks since as a former leader of the coven that allows all kinds of magic, Hunter will have expertise in all types of coven magic as well, and he's also very dedicated to studying wild magic.
Hunter himself was also known as a genius teen prodigy and is undeniably a child soldier who was raised by both hell and the library to get to the very top. While he was born magicless, it did not stop him from earning his title as the right-hand man of the most powerful witch of the Boiling Isles. Hunter spends days and nights both training and learning everything about magic both as a duty and as fun. He's incredibly knowledgeable regarding all kinds of magic, meaning it's hard to actually surprise him with anything. And since he's a child soldier raised in a magical military with no magic by himself, Hunter had to survive hell even worse than some of the adults that also were part of this coven went through, and he survived it all. Hunter has already been to countless witches' duels beforehand, he made it several times through a maze full of traps, and judging by how he calls getting from the top to the bottom of the mountain alive "a classic", this might as well suggest that this Hunter's version of "summer camp", as he did that numerous times and he considers it "fond memories". Hunter without a doubt has the most experience among all participants when it comes to battling, because you know Belos never gave him a break or easy time and for Hunter to be where he is today is all thanks to his own strength, intelligence, and resilience.
Hunter certainly has one of the strongest wills among all characters in TOH, as despite going through a ridiculous amount of pain, he is capable of brushing it off and pushing forward, with his only weakness being Belos. Hunter's willpower was even able to withstand Gus's trauma bubble which specifically puts you through your worst memories and even renders you useless, but Hunter resisted its effect and calmed Gus down instead, despite his pain being very fresh and severe and Hunter in fact not being ok with it, but Hunter keeps on going anyway. One must know it's very hard to break him, trust Belos, he tried but didn't succeed. Hunter even managed to resist Belos's possession for some time, which is a lot considering Belos was his abuser and had power over him metaphorically and physically in that moment.
Hunter displayed throughout the series to have some great athletic skills and agility, being able to keep up pace with running Luz without breaking a sweat while proving he has experience in parkour and acrobatics as seen in him flying on staff. Certainly, he can use his skills to evade incoming attacks with his reflexes while keeping up with his opponents and close distance between him and his enemies. He also has plenty of brute strength at his disposal as well, considering he managed to shatter falling debris by just swinging his staff in one hand.

Hand-To-Hand Combat - Hunter has proven to be efficient in hand-to-hand combat throughout the series. While Hunter overall plays more on defense as a protector rather than offense, he is not afraid to throw a punch. This post goes more in-depth about Hunter's proficiency in staff-wielding, but I will explain some of it here too. Hunter as a trained soldier and experienced martial artist has his body be his weapon. He knows how the body works and has great control over it. He defeated both Luz and Eda in his debut with a quick kick while evading their attack, straight-up toyed with Kikimora, and had to be put to sleep to be restrained by coven scouts as he was still fighting and kicking. This also gives him a huge advantage against other competitors who are used to fighting across distance, whereas Hunter fights at a close range.

Back in EC Hunter learned how to be smart, resourceful, and strong, and as I've mentioned before multiple times, he's a child soldier. His opponents usually underestimate him, but he's not the one to be crossed. His victories compromise of defeating Eda and Luz on 2v1 in his debut; immediately defeating Luz in HP once he's recovered; defeating Kikimora in HP; and Tying with Amity in EL after being physically and mentally exhausted, in 2v1 with King (who was rather defeated by Hunter in this duel), while wielding a completely new staff and restraining himself to not kill her but just getting the key; winning flyer derby game on his first try; catching Darius off-guard (which is a feat with Darius's great reflexes); making a strong glyph combo on his very first try; resisting Gus's trauma bubble; kicking ass during Hexside against EC battle; he was defeated twice by coven scouts, which while fair, was also due to his poor condition and the second time he had to be put to sleep to be restrained; handling abomatons and scouts with rest of the Hexsquad during S2 finale; standing his ground and protecting Hexsquad from Belos while being severely weakened in KT; breaking through Willow's vines in FtF with his freshly awakened powers.
Hunter now is sub-merged with Flapjack meaning he does not require staff anymore to cast spells as magic now comes from within. What's more, I allow Hunter to also levitate/fly without the help of any staff. This is more of a fanon ability, but it's supposed to connect him to having the powers of a palisman (but no, he can't turn into a staff, nor is wooden) and abilities of a palisman are usually just enhanced abilities of the holder, meaning flight is in capacity of any witch, but all of them utilise staff since flight on its own is probably hard spell to pull off, but Hunter should do just fine for the sake of this tournament.

And now finally, let's talk about his staff. For the purposes of this tournament, I will give Hunter Waffles, however, he will only pull her into the semi-finals of the tournament, to signify lore-wise that Waffles is a fresh addition as Hunter was still working through his grief, but from meta-reason to nerf him slightly because you know Hunter is the best staff wielder in the entire tournament only rivaled by Luz. I already mentioned how Hunter is absolutely proficient with his staff, utilizing it for both offensive and very effective strikes and flawless defense. Hunter is also a real aerial ace capable of flying at high speeds with agility to dodge attacks and is capable of even surfing on his staff as demonstrated when he showed off in ASIAS. His flying skills were also decisive in both forming EE and winning their very first game together.

Barrier Spell - is not demonstrated in the show itself but in storyboards of Yasmin Khudari, where Hunter could create a force field to shield Willow from falling debris. In the final product, he just used his own brute strength and staff to protect Willow rather than magic, but I will allow this spell meaning Hunter can create barriers that can withstand heavy hits and create them anywhere he desires.

Flesh-Eating Plant - - this is more of a speculation rather than a confirmed fact, but I rewatched ST, and Luz and Eda weren't originally standing in the flesh-eating plant until GG showed up, so I decided to be funny and say he actually made this plant himself to taunt them, especially since he also knew what it does (which also shows his expertise in plants among many things). Hunter in battles can utilise flesh-eating plants to set traps across the battlefield to both harm and distract his opponents.

Skara specializes in the bard track. For the purposes of this tournament, I allow Skara to have a powerset established by MoringMark's comics due to him fleshing out her capabilities in the "A Hint of Blue" comic storyline and his comics being beloved by the fan base. And not only. Her instrument of choice is lyra.
Skara is established to be an excellent strategist in ASIAS and she's an experienced athlete in both grudgby and flyer derby. She also did show some fiery spirit in LR and judging by her becoming a new teacher at Hexside, she seems to be quite proficient in magic, granted usually in battles she didn't showcase impressive feats.

Skara and Viney in canon are friends and teammates but there's not much to work with so I shall use MoringMark's version of their relationship for inspiration for their motivations and... Skara is fucked and she knows it. Like both Skara and Viney are now on great terms and promised each other that they will fight in this tournament, but Skara knows that the last time she didn't win with Viney fair so she's of course scared of what is about to happen.
Skara does possess a Palisman and she showed she is capable of staff wielding. She seems to be a decent flyer but she was also the first one to be taken out during the flyer derby match, suggesting she doesn't have enough skill or defenses to shield herself from being knocked out in midair or performing any serious aerial attacks.

One of the tools I'm willing to give Skara regardless of everything is flying boots. She can use them for transportation and aerial attacks even when she doesn't possess a palisman during the battle and she can use them to save herself from fall damage if she ever is knocked out midair.

Another tool I'm willing to give her is the bag of tentacles she used in Once Upon a Swap to prank people, she can occasionally throw some of them at the battlefield to create tentacle traps. Skara doesn't control them though so the tentacles could attack her as well.

Arrow Strike - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can release a single arrow using her magic which can be used offensively. The arrow is strong enough to pierce through magical barriers. Requires an instrument.
Arrow Storm - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can release multiple arrows at once using her magic for offensive purposes. Requires an instrument.
Beat Box Shockwave - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can release a shockwave all around herself by beatboxing. She can utilise it to push away anything coming her way, including even her opponents. The range however isn't particularly big though.
Willpower Increase - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara by playing her instrument can regain her strength and clear her mind. Can be used to refresh herself during the battle. Requires an instrument.
Sonic Whistle - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara by whistling can release sonic waves that can be used to distract or even immobilize her opponents due to the noise hurting the ears of everyone hearing her whistle. It however won't work on deaf opponents.
Thunder Wave - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can create a thunderstorm with lightning directly striking her opponents. It's Skara's strongest offensive capability. Requires her instrument. Skara can release multiple lightnings one after another dealing even more damage to her enemies. Skara can also choose where her lightning strikes too.
Thunder Strike - inspired by Skara utilising her palismen in LR, I decided to give Skara the ability to be able to charge up either her fist or maybe a leg or even her entire body with electric energy to increase the force in which she would hit her enemies.
Snow Spell - as demonstrated in Something Ventured, Someone Framed, Skara learned how to create snow. She will usually display it as a simple snowball or snow blast attack

Fire Spell - as demonstrated in Something Ventured, Someone Framed, Skara to create snow can also create fire. She will usually use this ability specifically to throw a single fireball.

Viney:

Viney specializes in both Beast-Keeping magic and Healing Magic. She doesn't show spells of other kinds. For the purposes of this tournament, I allow Viney to have a powerset established by MoringMark's comics due to him fleshing out her capabilities in the "A Hint of Blue" comic storyline and his comics being beloved by the fan base.

Viney is an absolutely fierce and intimidating competitor who will stop at nothing to win and can get even extra ruthless and petty when facing her friends claiming them to be traitors. Her magic is also quite impressive if not prodigious. The girl is absolutely skilled and at times quite chaotic. Viney's in it to win. She can be however a bit hasty in her approach. Viney has plenty of physical strength to back up her punch.

Viney does possess a Palisman and is quite a proficient flyer. With her fighting spirit, she is capable to rush at her opponents furiously and knock them out with her physical strength. However, at the same time, she gets tunnel vision due to this and her attack can still be blocked knocking her out in the process.

Viney and Skara in canon are friends and teammates but don't have much screentime together, so I shall use Moringmark's version of their relationship for inspiration (especially since I'm sure this is the only time people give a damn about them together if that context applies). Skara and Viney fought before and Skara in Viney's eyes won the duel with dirty tactics. Now there no longer is bad blood between them and they like each other VERY much, but Viney didn't forget what Skara did so now it's zero mercy for Skara this time around.

Quick Heal—Viney is capable of very quickly healing wounds of hers or others (this ability is only available during Battle Royale when it comes to other people; there's no way she's healing her opponents unless it's after the battle, but that's debatable due to her personality). According to Viney, the only scars she has are emotional, making her quite a proficient healer who can leave the battle without a single scratch on her.

Healing Shield - Viney is capable of creating a shield-shaped hand to block any attacks coming her way. From simple bullets to even raging streams.

Medical Knowledge - Viney has enough experience to come up with remedies on the fly while also understanding both the strong and weak spots of the body of any witch/demon, meaning Viney knows where it hurts the most and you bet she will use that knowledge to her advantage.

Griffin Companion - Viney can summon Puddles to aid her in battles. Puddles can at times be wilder even than Viney herself, but Viney is still his master and he listens to her commands. Puddles is both strong and smart, a large griffin that can give Viney's opponent just as much of a hard time and is even more fierce than Viney, dealing huge damage. Also much like other griffins he probably possesses spider breath, which Viney can use to attack her opponents with an army of crawling spiders. Viney can ride him naturally.

Muscle Growth - power-up which came from MoringMark's comic. Viney can enhance her muscle to enhance her own strength to a superhuman level when attacking her opponents. (I will not post screenshots of Mark's comics but I will leave parts of the comics where he demonstrated this ability so you can support HIS art).
Deaf Spell - power-up which came from MoringMark's comic. Viney can manipulate her ears to tie themselves together making her resistant to sound-based attacks (especially effective against bard magic).
Equipment attack - power-up which came from MoringMark's comic. Viney can throw medical equipment at her opponents using this or get herself hands on a weapon of said equipment to use thanks to her medical knowledge.

Matt Tholomule:
Mattholomule specializes mainly in construction and illusion magic.
Matt is known to be quite underestimated by those around him, but he does possess the skill, even if gloats to be able to bite more than he can chew. Matt is however pretty smart when it comes to the usage of his powers, even if he doesn't use them too offensively. He can however be pretty hopeless at times, being taken out easily if his opponents prove to be more formidable than him. He does lack drive and fighting spirit if he does not have confidence in his abilities.
Willow and Matt don't interact often but it doesn't seem like Matt has anything against her. However, he's desperate and he really is grasping at straws here. Matt has decided that Willow is the unquestionable winner of the tournament and wants to show off how powerful he is by bringing her down and showing how all of his losses were truly him being generous and letting the other side win. My crack headcanon is that they're also cousins but they refuse to admit this relation to anyone.

Matt does not possess any known palisman, nor showcased any on the screen. Because of this anyone fighting him would also not be allowed to wield a palisman
Size alteration - Matt is capable of altering the size of any of his body parts. This displayed first during Covention with his head.

Construction Tool - Matt is capable of creating tools made out of earthen materials as displayed TTLGR when he created a key/blade to cut Gus free. This ability during battle can manifest as Matt is capable of creating any kind of tool or weapon to help him during the battle.

Geokinesis - Implied in TTLGR that Matt can telekinetically move earthen materials as displayed when he helped clean the graveyard by moving the broken parts of the statues placing them back and making them stick together. During the battle, Matt would be capable of throwing rubble at his opponents.

Rock Wall - as displayed in LR, Matt is capable of creating walls to block attacks. The walls are thin so can be broken through enough force, but Matt displayed pretty great reflexes with those walls and they are still fairly durable.

Rock Dummy - as displayed in FTF, Matt is capable of creating a rock dummy of himself to appear wherever he feels like it.

Camouflage - Displayed in its full glory in FTF where Matt made Amity completely disappear. During the battle, Matt can turn himself invisible temporarily and other people as well (battle royale-exclusive)

Willow Park:
Willow and Matt don't interact often but that is more or less due to how Willow just doesn't really like Matt. She knows what he did to Gus and his attitude in general is just off-putting for her. She's not humoring him this match. My crack headcanon is that they're also cousins and refuse to tell this to literally anyone.

Willow Park is a prodigy in plant magic. Only a few can match her talent and raw power regarding her command over plant life. She's also very knowledgeable in Botanics and is very promising when it comes to them (she knows how to tame various plants and what they are capable of). However, her capabilities only extend to plant magic and not other types of magic.
Willow Park is also very strong, athletic, and sporty. She's the Captain of Flyer Derby Emeral Entrails and defeated the captain of Grudgby team Boscha while playing Grudgby for the first time. Willow works out and shows a lot of physical strength. The girl knows how to pack a punch.
During this battle, palismen are not allowed.
Willow's magic is enhanced by her emotional state. If she's confident in herself she's most in control, however, if she's bottling up her feelings or feeling insecure, her magic can turn against her. Her magic also gets stronger once she uses anger and determination to power it.
Water Magic - Willow showed in Something Ventured, Someone Framed that she's capable of summoning water, however, she only uses it to water her plants meaning that during her battle she could only use it to enhance her plants.
Healing Plants - as demonstrated in her debut, Willow can use her magic to directly heal plants. This could be quite useful in case her plants are damaged.
Bush disguise - Willow can briefly camouflage herself using bushes as demonstrated in Hooty's Moving Hassle. Willow during the battle would grow bushes all across the battlefield to hide in them to recover or do sneak attacks without leaving herself wide open.

Plant Pillow - Willow is capable of creating plants to break her fall, so in case she gets hit in midair, she can quickly recover and receive no fall damage whatsoever.
Plant Teleport - Willow can use her plants to transport herself across the battlefield. Can be quite effective for escaping.

Grass Trap - in the same vein of teleporting herself, Willow can also use her magic to transport others. During the combat she would utilise said abilities to make grass devour her opponents. Willow can choose whether or not she can spit out her opponents by either putting them in a different location or keeping them underground. However, the opponent can break away if they know how (using plant magic too as demonstrated by Hunter in HM when Belos also devoured him but he managed to escape).

Plant Tie - Willow can discreetly grow vines over her opponents' feet to keep them still or make them trip the moment they try to move as demonstrated with Boscha in WILW. She can also grow those even around herself if she loses composure.
Tree Block - Willow can create a singular tree to use to block attacks from her opponents. She demonstrated it in WILW against Boscha. Willow can use this ability to even block objects thrown with great force or fireballs.

Vine Whips - Willow is capable of creating two large and strong vine whips that could be used to catch or harm her opponents. Demonstrated this in LR and ASIAS, fusing both her physical strength with the strength of her plant magic. She can also create a singular one as well.

Vine Dome - Willow can grow a dome of vines to use as a shield from protection as demonstrated in ASIAS against Darius. The dome can still be cut with enough force.

Vine Grab - a stronger version of Plant Tie, in which Willow is capable of creating bigger and multiple vines to catch her opponents even from greater distances (like midair for example).

Vine Octopus - Willow is capable of surrounding herself with multiple crazy and moving vines that can grab her opponents, block attacks, or directly attack. She demonstrated it in her debut episode.
Giant Plant Monster - Willow is capable of creating a gigantic Plant-like monster to attack multiple opponents (but not only). It's a stronger version of Plant Monster. She demonstrated it in Hooty's Moving Hassle.

Tree Arm - With the help of Green Thumb Gauntlet, Willow is capable of creating a giant tree arm that she can use to attack her opponents.

Tree Golem - With the help of Green Thumb Gauntlet, Willow is capable of creating a tree-like golem that can be used to aid Willow in her battles. The Golem has enough strength to break through barriers even created by Belos and the arms of the Golem can extend to very long distances while not losing any strength.
Vine Attack - Willow can create a singular vine from the ground that can be used to attack her opponents.

Jungle Attack - Willow can grow multiple vines from the ground to use to attack her opponents. As of WAD, it's potent enough to grow an entire forest of such vines.

Tree Movement - Willow is capable of moving the trees with her magic as demonstrated in FTF.
Ultimate Vine Octopus - as demonstrated in COTH against Kikimora, Willow can create an even enhanced version of Vine Octopus in which she gains the high ground and uses even bigger and stronger vines to attack her opponents.

Multiple Vine Whips - Willow is capable of creating from her hands multiple little vine whips that can be used to hold down her enemies as demonstrated in KT against Belos.
Endless Vine Trap - Willow is capable of releasing a great amount of vines that can grow across large spaces as demonstrated in both her debut and FTF. The trap also has quite offensive capabilities.

Intangibility—As proven in Understanding Willow, when Willow was a child, she knew a spell that could make any physical construct disappear for a short second before reappearing. Nowadays, she can still use it to quickly dispel her opponents' physical defenses for the purposes of this tournament.

Jungle Trap - demonstrated in LR against a coven scout (who gave her props for that), Willow can quickly trap her opponents in multiple vines immobilising them.

Plant Column Shield - demonstrated in FTF against Kikimora, Willow can create multiple columns made out of fortified plants to block even the most powerful attacks. She can also control the placement of how those columns will grow and Willow potentially could also use them offensively.

Skara and Amity used to be friends, but once Amity left Boscha's friend group, they essentially stopped hanging out as in the end, they never really were truly friends. Granted, Amity's departure hurt Skara as she considered Amity her friend even if it was one-sided. During this tournament, she took out this frustration on Amity's sister. Skara is calmer and caught a bit off guard, so she still gets to fight Amity, especially right after her date with Luz. So Skara is a bit intimidated even though Skara and Amity are now on good terms again even if not close friends anymore. It's really just awkward now.

Arrow Storm - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can release multiple arrows at once using her magic for offensive purposes. Requires an instrument.
Beat Box Shockwave - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can release a shockwave all around herself by beatboxing. She can utilise it to push away anything coming her way, including even her opponents. The range however isn't particularly big though.
Willpower Increase - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara by playing her instrument can regain her strength and clear her mind. Can be used to refresh herself during the battle. Requires an instrument.
Sonic Whistle - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara by whistling can release sonic waves that can be used to distract or even immobilize her opponents due to the noise hurting the ears of everyone hearing her whistle. It however won't work on deaf opponents.
Thunder Wave - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can create a thunderstorm with lightning directly striking her opponents. It's Skara's strongest offensive capability. Requires her instrument. Skara can release multiple lightnings one after another dealing even more damage to her enemies. Skara can also choose where her lightning strikes too.
Thunder Strike - inspired by Skara utilising her palismen in LR, I decided to give Skara the ability to be able to charge up either her fist or maybe a leg or even her entire body with electric energy to increase the force in which she would hit her enemies.
Snow Spell - as demonstrated in Something Ventured, Someone Framed, Skara learned how to create snow. She will usually display it as a simple snowball or snow blast attack

Fire Spell - as demonstrated in Something Ventured, Someone Framed, Skara to create snow can also create fire. She will usually use this ability specifically to throw a single fireball.

Amity Blight:
Amity Blight naturally specializes in Abomination Magic the most, but she does so capacity in knowing spells of other tracks like Plants and Illusion, but it's very limited.
I will mention Amity's moves just by name to not make this post too cramped, and in the title, there's a link to Amity's main character profile debunking all her moves.
Amity and Skara were part of the same group but Amity didn't consider anyone in it to truly be her friends. Just associates. Now she doesn't hate Skara and she's on good-terms with her but they never really were close. She does however feel awkward on how Amity ghosting her hurt Skara so she's willing to make up for it and is in general in good mood after her date with Luz, so she's taking her time to let Skara come in terms with her own feelings and prepare herself for her battle with Hunter.

Amity is a very skilled, talented, cool-headed, and pragmatic fighter. Hardly does she lose composure when battling even strong opponents, displaying plenty of agility and athleticism (as shown in her battle with Hunter and Grom, which is also given considering she was a former captain of the grudgby team at Hexside), and can be both a powerhouse using plenty of strength or a mastermind coming up with tricks on the fly while outsmarting her opponents with her skillset. Very dangerous, and even more so once she puts more passion into her battle. Hardly there are any weak spots or flaws in her battling style, but she can still be overpowered. Abomination Magic in particular feels to be weaker than Construction Magic for example, and it can be rendered useless when dealing in an environment with no mud. Granted Amity holds abomination goo with her so at most, she's going to be weakened. Amity is capable of controlling any slime or mud she comes in contact with.

Amity does wield a Palisman named Ghost and according to herself, she's a "safe flyer". This means she's overall pretty proficient and skilled in her flying capabilities, but at the same time, it means she's not a real aerial ace like Luz or Hunter for example. She's skilled enough to not easily fall off by herself, but as proven in her battles with Hunter (both EL and TTT), she's not fast enough to necessarily avoid being hit in midair. Granted she can still be faster than average and have better reflexes than average, but still not enough to beat some real aerial aces. She is proficient in staff-wielding, being capable of using it to enhance her own spells.

WILD CARD OF WITCHES DUELS - Battle 60: Amity Blight vs Luz Noceda - exclusive Witches Duel, the "Lumity Edition💅"
Disclaimer: This is not a popularity contest or which character you prefer, in this tournament, you decide who is stronger/better/smarter/etc. opponent.
Extra Disclaimer: To reassure the shippers that shall come across this post, Luz and Amity ARE NOT forced to battle each other. They're not doing this with heavy heart, against their will, or with any hard feelings behind it. This isn't a grudge, or a major fight within the couple, or a break-up, not at all. This is their 💖DATE💖. Luz and Amity are fine fighting in this duel because to them it's essentially their date. They promised each other they will see each other in the finals and here they are. They're both each other's biggest cheerleader in this battle while also going all out and having a lot of fun while doing this. This is essentially the anniversary of the first time they got to know their true selves to one another and they're making it very cheesy, and sappy, and all way round beautiful.
Hence I'm telling you TO NOT make them tie. In the end, this is still a duel and there can be only one winner. Luz and Amity don't mind who it will be in the end as they're happy either way so DO NOT try to make them tie. If I catch any of you telling people in the notes to make them tie, I'm blocking you and re-doing the post all over again without your input. If Lumity ties they're both disqualified from the tournament and all their previous battles are completely erased. Let the girls have fun and pick who's the better fighter between them, even if you love them both. To them, it doesn't matter who wins or who loses, as long as both of them remain in the tournament. Luz and Amity are girlfriends and their relationship is healthy and stable at the moment of this tournament. They're both enjoying themselves here without the care of who wins and who loses because both of them are the queens who are winning, making this battle an absolute delight, very cheesy and very sappy and very adorable you'll get diabetes. Luz Noceda, the protagonist of our story, is one and only. Unlike other competitors, Luz is a rare example of a jack of all trades who does not specialize in one specific magical track and studies all of them. Normally, Luz specializes in glyphs but according to the lore of my own tournament which happens after the final battle with Belos, Luz no longer has access to glyphs. However, she now does have a magical staff that allows her to still be able to cast spells just fine as proven by Owlbert in Young Blood, Old Souls. Now, since my rules specify how at times you're not allowed to use palismen in the battle, Luz is capable of avoiding this rule thanks to String Bean's shape-shifting nature, as String Bean possibly could transform into an accessory that would allow Luz to cast a spell like everyone is none the wiser, or maybe even shape-shift into an instrument to mimic bard magic (even though Luz has no vibration based spells). Outside of that Luz would also have access to some other supporting artifacts.

When it comes to Luz's fighting style, she in general prefers to outsmart and outpower her opponents with the raw strength of her magic. Luz has come far ever since she started to learn magic, currently with String Bean by her side she certainly is now more accustomed to spell-casting. Luz is quite proficient with magic now coming up with new creative ways to utilise her magic. She also now has more experience in combat meaning she's more willing to take down her opponents head-on. Luz can however be pretty reckless and impulsive when approaching her opponents, biting more than she can chew and sometimes jumping without thinking. Luz can however be quick on her feet and easily recover and come up with new ways to get an upper hand during battles.

Luz possesses now her own palisman as we all know it which happens to be none other than String Bean. String Bean showed that with her presence, Luz could be even stronger than she used to be, and Luz had plenty of experience with Owlbert beforehand to know how to use a witch's staff. Luz is a true aerial ace as Eda's Requiem episode proves as she could've won the race if it wasn't for King. She of course also knows how to correctly cast spells with staff alone and can use it in combat. String Bean also has a unique ability of shape-shifting, which allows her to take on features of other creatures and use them to her advantage. Granted she can't change size with the ability so all animals will be miniature, but it can come in handy nonetheless, and she could possibly change String Bean into other objects (like jewelry or instruments) in case she can't use witch's staff.

Luz shall be allowed a multitude of tools to help her out during battles. One of them happens to be a crystal ball from her oracle class. Luz can use it to conjure up a single ghost that can be used to help Luz aid in the battle and also predict Luz's future. The ghost is usually chill but rather helpful. It's intangible meaning it's immune to physical attacks for the most part (but can be dispelled with special attacks) and can phase through solid objects to get to its opponents and be capable of touching them to inflict harm.

Another tool Luz would be allowed to use is tea leaves from oracle class which would also help her learn about her opponents, what they're capable of, and what they're going to do.

Luz is also equipped with a training wand in case she needs another source of magic to cast spells from. It's like a hidden dagger if someone would take her sword (as in her staff, I'm clearly alluding to Sasha Waybright's example) away.

Another tool Luz is free to use is her iconic bat which Luz can use for offensive purposes. Luz is allowed to have and use other weapons like a mace and a sword to aid her in the time of her need.

And of course, how could I not forget that Luz also has fireworks to help her in a fight to add more to her firepower.

While Luz doesn't have beast-keeping magic at all, she does seem to have an affinity to be able to tame most of the wild beasts as presented throughout the entire show with her knowledge and attitude. This means Luz is not really affected much by beast-keepers sending animals in her direction unless they're directly under the command of their masters (as in like pets. Sometimes some beasts are untamed and would not follow even the beast-keeper).

Luz also has brought snakes to her battle as she managed to tame them just enough so they would not attack her but certainly would attack her opponents. They're not venomous though considering now pressed any charges when Luz brought them to school. She will bring a few of them.

Another animal that Luz would bring with her to the battlefield are spiders. They're mostly used to just scare people during the fight by pouring them all over her opponents. Can be used as a great distraction. She has quite big number of them and she can even naturally attract them as seen in TtT. The spiders are also not harmful and Luz is not phased by them either.

Smoke Potion - Another tool Luz would be granted to use is a smoke potion she could brew as seen in the First Day. Luz could potentially utilize it as a smokescreen or suffocation attempt.

Mattholomule specializes mainly in construction and illusion magic.

While yes, Amity and Matt are on rather good terms (especially in comparison to everyone else), it doesn't mean Amity wants to humor Matt with this battle, she is annoyed that she has to face him before she gets to face Luz and she really just doesn't want to be here so she will make it quick.

Matt Tholomule:

Mattholomule specializes mainly in construction and illusion magic.
Matt is known to be quite underestimated by those around him, but he does possess the skill, even if gloats to be able to bite more than he can chew. Matt is however pretty smart when it comes to the usage of his powers, even if he doesn't use them too offensively. He can however be pretty hopeless at times, being taken out easily if his opponents prove to be more formidable than him. He does lack drive and fighting spirit if he does not have confidence in his abilities.
Matt doesn't respect Hunter at all, considering him weak. In LR he really meant it when he said that he could take him. Matt recognizes how he may ultimately not be the best battler of this tournament but in his eyes Hunter is an absolute fraud who shouldn't have gotten this far as he did, so he wants to challenge him because of that, bringing up Hunter's fraudulent win against Luz (Luz beat Matt fair and square but how comes Hunter supposedly won the fight with her?). To Matt, it doesn't matter if he was the Golden Guard, to Matt Hunter, ain't shit.

Hunter The Golden Guard:

I will only mention moves by names rather than delve into specifics as they're too large for that. In the name (with a few exceptions for the sake of clarification for some), there's a link to more of Hunter's capabilities.
Hunter has zero respect for Matt and does not take him seriously in the slightest. He really is disappointed that supposedly he's the closest Gus has to a romantic partner at the moment, his little bro can do better. During this battle, Hunter is however even more peeved by Matt because he really talks a big amount of sh!t for someone who's not even worth dirt on Hunter's shoes. There is also the fact that Matt painfully reminds Hunter of everything he loathes about himself. To say the least, Hunter will show Matt why he was Golden Guard, to begin with, and put Matt in his place.

Hunter "Insert your preferred surname/s for him", also known as a former and the youngest Golden Guard in history, head of the Emperor's Coven, Emperor Belos's right-hand man. One must know that unlike other contestants (aside from Luz) he's not constricted to specific covens and tracks since as a former leader of the coven that allows all kinds of magic, Hunter will have expertise in all types of coven magic as well, and he's also very dedicated to studying wild magic.
Hunter himself was also known as a genius teen prodigy and is undeniably a child soldier who was raised by both hell and the library to get to the very top. While he was born magicless, it did not stop him from earning his title as the right-hand man of the most powerful witch of the Boiling Isles. Hunter spends days and nights both training and learning everything about magic both as a duty and as fun. He's incredibly knowledgeable regarding all kinds of magic, meaning it's hard to actually surprise him with anything. And since he's a child soldier raised in a magical military with no magic by himself, Hunter had to survive hell even worse than some of the adults that also were part of this coven went through, and he survived it all. Hunter has already been to countless witches' duels beforehand, he made it several times through a maze full of traps, and judging by how he calls getting from the top to the bottom of the mountain alive "a classic", this might as well suggest that this Hunter's version of "summer camp", as he did that numerous times and he considers it "fond memories". Hunter without a doubt has the most experience among all participants when it comes to battling, because you know Belos never gave him a break or easy time and for Hunter to be where he is today is all thanks to his own strength, intelligence, and resilience.
Hunter certainly has one of the strongest wills among all characters in TOH, as despite going through a ridiculous amount of pain, he is capable of brushing it off and pushing forward, with his only weakness being Belos. Hunter's willpower was even able to withstand Gus's trauma bubble which specifically puts you through your worst memories and even renders you useless, but Hunter resisted its effect and calmed Gus down instead, despite his pain being very fresh and severe and Hunter in fact not being ok with it, but Hunter keeps on going anyway. One must know it's very hard to break him, trust Belos, he tried but didn't succeed. Hunter even managed to resist Belos's possession for some time, which is a lot considering Belos was his abuser and had power over him metaphorically and physically in that moment.
Hunter displayed throughout the series to have some great athletic skills and agility, being able to keep up pace with running Luz without breaking a sweat while proving he has experience in parkour and acrobatics as seen in him flying on staff. Certainly, he can use his skills to evade incoming attacks with his reflexes while keeping up with his opponents and close distance between him and his enemies. He also has plenty of brute strength at his disposal as well, considering he managed to shatter falling debris by just swinging his staff in one hand.

Hand-To-Hand Combat - Hunter has proven to be efficient in hand-to-hand combat throughout the series. While Hunter overall plays more on defense as a protector rather than offense, he is not afraid to throw a punch. This post goes more in-depth about Hunter's proficiency in staff-wielding, but I will explain some of it here too. Hunter as a trained soldier and experienced martial artist has his body be his weapon. He knows how the body works and has great control over it. He defeated both Luz and Eda in his debut with a quick kick while evading their attack, straight-up toyed with Kikimora and had to be put to sleep to be restrained by coven scouts as he was still fighting and kicking. This also gives him a huge advantage against other competitors who are used to fighting across distance, whereas Hunter fights at a close range.

Back in EC Hunter learned how to be smart, resourceful, and strong, and as I've mentioned before multiple times, he's a child soldier. His opponents usually underestimate him, but he's not the one to be crossed. His victories compromise of defeating Eda and Luz on 2v1 in his debut; immediately defeating Luz in HP once he's recovered; defeating Kikimora in HP; and Tying with Amity in EL after being physically and mentally exhausted, in 2v1 with King (who was rather defeated by Hunter in this duel), while wielding a completely new staff and restraining himself to not kill her but just getting the key; winning flyer derby game on his first try; catching Darius off-guard (which is a feat with Darius's great reflexes); making a strong glyph combo on his very first try; resisting Gus's trauma bubble; kicking ass during Hexside against EC battle; he was defeated twice by coven scouts, which while fair, was also due to his poor condition and the second time he had to be put to sleep to be restrained; handling abomatons and scouts with rest of the Hexsquad during S2 finale; standing his ground and protecting Hexsquad from Belos while being severely weakened in KT; breaking through Willow's vines in FtF with his freshly awakened powers.
Hunter now is sub-merged with Flapjack meaning he does not require staff anymore to cast spells as magic now comes from within. What's more, I allow Hunter to also levitate/fly without the help of any staff. This is more of a fanon ability, but it's supposed to connect him to having the powers of a palisman (but no, he can't turn into a staff, nor is wooden) and abilities of a palisman are usually just enhanced abilities of the holder, meaning flight is in capacity of any witch, but all of them utilise staff since flight on its own is probably hard spell to pull off, but Hunter should do just fine for the sake of this tournament.

Barrier Spell - is not demonstrated in the show itself but in storyboards of Yasmin Khudari, where Hunter could create a force field to shield Willow from falling debris. In the final product, he just used his own brute strength and staff to protect Willow rather than magic, but I will allow this spell meaning Hunter can create barriers that can withstand heavy hits and create them anywhere he desires.

Flesh-Eating Plant - - this is more of a speculation rather than a confirmed fact, but I rewatched ST, and Luz and Eda weren't originally standing in the flesh-eating plant until GG showed up, so I decided to be funny and say he actually made this plant himself to taunt them, especially since he also knew what it does (which also shows his expertise in plants among many things). Hunter in battles can utilise flesh-eating plants to set traps across the battlefield to both harm and distract his opponents.

Emira Blight:
Emira naturally specializes in Healing and Illusion magic, hardly showing spells that go beyond those.
One must remember that Emira can be smart, clever, and mischievous but also level-headed. She prefers to outsmart and outwit her opponents during the battle can be pretty sneaky and has good reflexes.
Emira and Willow didn't really interact with each other personally, but most of the time, they were allies when dragged together into battles. This duel is specifically one that could've happened in the main tournament but sadly Emira lost so she's now compensating for that, but the girl doesn't really believe she's going to win nor cares that she will lose. She's currently just riding off the good vibes she had after defeating Bria.
Telekinesis - Emira can move objects with ease using it, granted the objects usually were small and not the size and weight of the person so she can use them directly on her opponent, but she can pick up random stuff from the arena to use them as projectiles and be decently quick with them (the only instance I recall of Emira using telekinesis is her swapping the books constantly in her debut)

Snow Magic - Emira showed capacity in snow magic, creating a snow hand to attack Amity. I can also imagine her creating simple blasts of snow during combat or as a distraction. Or even a snowball stream or snow arm to attack.

Healing Magic - Emira knows a healing spell that allows her to heal wounds. For this tournament, I will enable Emira to be able to heal her own wounds even though she never demonstrated to be capable of using said magic on herself in the show. Emira's healing spells however take a lot of time and concentration for the time being so while she can heal herself, she would need a minute or two for that with no interruptions when it comes to serious injuries. However, she can quickly heal minor ones.

Restraining Magic - Emira is capable of creating a lasso made out of light that can be used to restrain her enemies. She attempted it with Slitherbeast granted at the time she also had Edric's help and Slitherbeast proved to be too strong for her, so it's hard to tell whether or not Emira's restraining spell is overall very effective, as it certainly isn't if her opponent is particularly large and strong.

Glamour - Emira is capable of altering her appearance with her illusion magic. She usually uses concealment stones for passive altering of her appearance which is usually used to enhance Emira's looks (like braiding her hair or removing zits) but Emira showcased in illusion class to be able to alter her appearance by herself, extending her legs ridiculously. Thus this power is upgraded for Emira to be capable of somewhat shape-shifting into extending her limbs however she likes.

Illusion Casting - Emira naturally knows illusion magic and creates whatever illusion she likes. Her illusions can interact and affect the real world and be touched and she can create multiple at a time. Usually, it will extend to an object or imaginary living being. However, her illusions can be fragile and enough force can cast them out.

Illusion Clone - Emira is capable of creating a clone of anyone she desires, granted it's usually one clone at a time as proven in EGF when she created a clone of Eda. The clone could potentially mimic the abilities of the people they took shape from but it's more than often just an illusion. They could also take upon the personality of anyone they were cloned from.

Camouflage - Now I'm not sure whether or not Emira can cast it on her own or if it requires a team effort, but in LR once Bump made a stand against the EC, all the other students would appear after the illusion of camouflage was dispelled, so I'll allow all illusion casters that were part of this to be capable to at least hide out of sight temporarily, so Emira now can use this ability to stay hidden for short time during the battle.

Willow Park:
Willow and Emira don't interact with one another but for the most part, they're usually on the same side when big shit goes down, so Willow doesn't really have any bad blood towards Emira, why should she? Willow thinks this battle will be a nice practice before the final battle.
Willow Park is a prodigy in plant magic. Only a few can match her talent and raw power when it comes to her command over plant life. She's also very knowledgeable when it comes to Botanics and is very promising when it comes to them (she knows how to tame various plants and what are they capable of). However, her capabilities only extend to plant magic and not other types of magic.

Willow Park is also very strong, athletic, and sporty. She's the Captain of Flyer Derby Emeral Entrails and managed to defeat the captain of Grudgby team Boscha while playing Grudgby for the first time. It is known that Willow works out and shows a lot of physical strength. The girl knows how to pack a punch.

During this battle, palismen are not allowed.
Willow's magic is enhanced by her emotional state. If she's confident in herself she's most in control, however, if she's bottling up her feelings or feeling insecure, her magic can turn against her. Her magic also gets stronger once she uses anger and determination to power it.

Water Magic - Willow showed in Something Ventured, Someone Framed that she's capable of summoning water, however, she only uses it to water her plants meaning that during her battle she could only use it to enhance her plants.
Healing Plants - as demonstrated in her debut, Willow can use her magic to directly heal plants. This could be quite useful in case her plants are damaged.
Bush disguise - Willow can briefly camouflage herself using bushes as demonstrated in Hooty's Moving Hassle. Willow during the battle would grow bushes all across the battlefield to hide in them to recover or do sneak attacks without leaving herself wide open.

Plant Pillow - Willow is capable of creating plants to break her fall, so in case she gets hit in midair, she can quickly recover and receive no fall damage whatsoever.

Plant Teleport - Willow can use her plants to transport herself across the battlefield. Can be quite effective for escaping.

Grass Trap - in the same vein of teleporting herself, Willow can also use her magic to transport others. During the combat she would utilise said abilities to make grass devour her opponents. Willow can choose whether or not she can spit out her opponents by either putting them in a different location or keeping them underground. However, the opponent can break away if they know how (using plant magic too as demonstrated by Hunter in HM when Belos also devoured him but he managed to escape).

Plant Tie - Willow can discreetly grow vines over her opponents' feet to keep them still or make them trip the moment they try to move as demonstrated with Boscha in WILW. She can also grow those even around herself if she loses composure.
Tree Block - Willow can create a singular tree to use to block attacks from her opponents. She demonstrated it in WILW against Boscha. Willow can use this ability to even block objects thrown with great force or fireballs.

Vine Whips - Willow is capable of creating two large and strong vine whips that could be used to catch or harm her opponents. Demonstrated this in LR and ASIAS, fusing both her physical strength with the strength of her plant magic. She can also create a singular one as well.
Vine Dome - Willow can grow a dome of vines to use as a shield from protection as demonstrated in ASIAS against Darius. The dome can still be cut with enough force.
Vine Grab - a stronger version of Plant Tie, in which Willow is capable of creating bigger and multiple vines to catch her opponents even from greater distances (like midair for example).

Plant Monster - Willow can create a Flower-like monster to use as a beast to fight for her. She demonstrated it on the First Day.

Vine Octopus - Willow is capable of surrounding herself with multiple crazy and moving vines that can grab her opponents, block attacks, or directly attack. She demonstrated it in her debut episode.

Giant Plant Monster - Willow is capable of creating a gigantic Plant-like monster to attack multiple opponents (but not only). It's a stronger version of Plant Monster. She demonstrated it in Hooty's Moving Hassle.
Vine block - utilising multiple vines at once, Willow can create a shield that can block her opponents as demonstrated in her debut.

Tree Arm - With the help of Green Thumb Gauntlet, Willow is capable of creating a giant tree arm that she can use to attack her opponents.
Tree Golem - With the help of Green Thumb Gauntlet, Willow is capable of creating a tree-like golem that can be used to aid Willow in her battles. The Golem has enough strength to break through barriers even created by Belos and the arms of the Golem can extend to very long distances while not losing any strength.

Vine Attack - Willow can create a singular vine from the ground that can be used to attack her opponents.

Jungle Attack - Willow can grow multiple vines from the ground to use to attack her opponents. As of WAD, it's potent enough to grow an entire forest of such vines.

Plant Surf—As demonstrated in FTF, Willow can use her plant magic for transportation. She can also use it to create a bigger platform to stand on, as seen when battling Kikimora.
Tree Movement - Willow is capable of moving the trees with her magic as demonstrated in FTF.

Ultimate Vine Octopus - as demonstrated in COTH against Kikimora, Willow can create an even enhanced version of Vine Octopus in which she gains the high ground and uses even bigger and stronger vines to attack her opponents.

Multiple Vine Whips - Willow is capable of creating from her hands multiple little vine whips that can be used to hold down her enemies as demonstrated in KT against Belos.
Endless Vine Trap - Willow is capable of releasing a great amount of vines that can grow across large spaces as demonstrated in both her debut and FTF. The trap also has quite offensive capabilities.

Intangibility—As proven in Understanding Willow, when Willow was a child, she knew a spell that could make any physical construct disappear for a short second before reappearing. Nowadays, she can still use it to quickly dispel her opponents' physical defenses for the purposes of this tournament.

Viney:

Viney specializes in both Beast-Keeping magic and Healing Magic. She doesn't show spells of other kinds. For the purposes of this tournament, I allow Viney to have a powerset established by MoringMark's comics due to him fleshing out her capabilities in the "A Hint of Blue" comic storyline and his comics being beloved by the fan base.
Viney and Amity never really interacted with one another directly but both of them have mutual friends in Willow, Luz, Gus, and Hunter, so overall they're on friendly terms. However, both of them are to an extent competition freaks going all out, bloodthirsty hands down. Viney is not giving up her spot and will fight anyone that will come her way (she's especially rolled up as she's pretty much the weakest of the finalist and it does bug her a bit).
Viney is an absolutely fierce and intimidating competitor who will stop at nothing to win. She can get even more ruthless and petty when facing her friends claiming them to be traitors. Her magic is also quite impressive if not prodigious. The girl is absolutely skilled and at times quite chaotic. Viney's in it to win. She can be however a bit hasty in her approach. Viney has plenty of physical strength to back up her punch.

Viney does possess a Palisman and is quite a proficient flyer. With her fighting spirit, she is capable to rush at her opponents furiously and knock them out with her physical strength. However, at the same time, she gets tunnel vision due to this and her attack can still be blocked knocking her out in the process.

Quick Heal - Viney is capable of very quickly healing wounds of hers or others (only available during Battle Royale when it comes to other people, no way she's healing her opponents unless it's after the battle but that's debatable due to her personality). According to Viney, the only scars she has are emotional making her quite a proficient healer who can leave the battle without a single scratch on her.

Healing Shield - Viney is capable of creating a shield-shaped hand to block any attacks coming her way. From simple bullets to even raging streams.

Medical Knowledge - Viney has enough experience to come up with remedies on the fly while also understanding both the strong and weak spots of the body of any witch/demon, meaning Viney knows where it hurts the most and you bet she will use that knowledge to her advantage.

Griffin Companion - Viney can summon Puddles to aid her in battles. Puddles can at times be wilder even than Viney herself, but Viney is still his master and he listens to her commands. Puddles is both strong and smart, a large griffin that can give Viney's opponent just as much of a hard time and is even more fierce than Viney, dealing huge damage. Also much like other griffins he probably possesses spider breath, which Viney can use to attack her opponents with an army of crawling spiders. Viney can ride him naturally.

Muscle Growth - power-up which came from MoringMark's comic. Viney can enhance her muscle to enhance her own strength to a superhuman level when attacking her opponents. (I will not post screenshots of Mark's comics but I will leave parts of the comics where he demonstrated this ability so you can support HIS art).
Equipment attack - power-up which came from MoringMark's comic. Thanks to her medical knowledge, Viney can throw medical equipment at her opponents using this or get her hands on a weapon of said equipment.

Amity Blight:

Amity Blight naturally specializes in Abomination Magic the most, but she does so capacity in knowing spells of other tracks like Plants and Illusion, but it's very limited.
I will mention Amity's moves just by name to not make this post too cramped, and in the title, there's a link to Amity's main character profile debunking all her moves.
Amity and Viney never really interacted with one another on-screen, but both of them have mutual friends in the form of Hexsquad, so they themselves are on friendly terms. Granted, both of them can be a bit of competition freaks and go all out and bloodthirsty during this battle. In the end, Viney is the only thing that currently stands between Amity's battle with Luz, and they promised to each other that they would get to fight in the finals and Amity absolutely intends to keep this promise and will crush anyone who will try to take hat away.
Amity is a very skilled, talented, cool-headed, and pragmatic fighter. Hardly does she lose composure when battling even strong opponents, displaying plenty of agility and athleticism (as shown in her battle with Hunter and Grom, which is also given considering she was a former captain of the grudgby team at Hexside), and can be both a powerhouse using plenty of strength or a mastermind coming up with tricks on the fly while outsmarting her opponents with her skillset. Very dangerous, and even more so once she puts more passion into her battle. Hardly there are any weak spots or flaws in her battling style, but she can still be overpowered. Abomination Magic in particular feels to be weaker than Construction Magic for example, and it can be rendered useless when dealing in an environment with no mud. Granted Amity holds abomination goo with her so at most, she's going to be weakened. Amity is capable of controlling any slime or mud she comes in contact with.
Amity does wield a Palisman named Ghost and according to herself, she's a "safe flyer". This means she's overall pretty proficient and skilled in her flying capabilities, but at the same time, it means she's not a real aerial ace like Luz or Hunter for example. She's skilled enough to not easily fall off by herself, but as proven in her battles with Hunter (both EL and TTT), she's not fast enough to necessarily avoid being hit in midair. Granted she can still be faster than average and have better reflexes than average, but still not enough to beat some real aerial aces. She is proficient in staff-wielding, being capable of using it to enhance her own spells.

Voice Change - Amity is capable of briefly changing her voice to sound whoever she wants like to sound. Her real voice however can still be heard through, but it could be used as a brief distraction during Battle Royale or maybe to mess up some verbal spells of other casters (like beast-keepers, though it's hard to tell if it would actually work, or Alador's Abomatons as proven in Reaching Out).

Skara:
Skara specializes in the bard track. For the purposes of this tournament, I allow Skara to have a powerset established by MoringMark's comics due to him fleshing out her capabilities in the "A Hint of Blue" comic storyline and his comics being beloved by the fan base. And not only. Her instrument of choice is lyra.
Skara is established to be an excellent strategist in ASIAS and she's an experienced athlete in both grudgby and flyer derby. She also did show some fiery spirit in LR and judging by her becoming a new teacher at Hexside, she seems to be quite proficient in magic, granted usually in battles she didn't showcase impressive feats.
Skara and Hunter are friends despite quite a rocky start, but hey, Skara now has a chance to get back at Hunter. Overall it's just a battle in good faith and Skara preparing Hunter for his date- she means fight with Willow.

Skara does possess a Palisman and she showed she is capable of staff wielding. She seems to be a decent flyer but she was also the first one to be taken out during the flyer derby match, suggesting she doesn't have enough skill or defenses to shield herself from being knocked out in midair or performing any serious aerial attacks.

One of the tools I'm willing to give Skara regardless of everything is flying boots. She can use them for transportation and aerial attacks even when she doesn't possess a palisman during the battle and she can use them to save herself from fall damage if she ever is knocked out midair.

Another tool I'm willing to give her is the bag of tentacles she used in Once Upon a Swap to prank people, she can occasionally throw some of them at the battlefield to create tentacle traps. Skara doesn't control them though so the tentacles could attack her as well.

Arrow Strike - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can release a single arrow using her magic which can be used offensively. The arrow is strong enough to pierce through magical barriers. Requires an instrument.
Arrow Storm - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can release multiple arrows at once using her magic for offensive purposes. Requires an instrument.
Beat Box Shockwave - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can release a shockwave all around herself by beatboxing. She can utilise it to push away anything coming her way, including even her opponents. The range however isn't particularly big though.
Willpower Increase - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara by playing her instrument can regain her strength and clear her mind. Can be used to refresh herself during the battle. Requires an instrument.
Sonic Whistle - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara by whistling can release sonic waves that can be used to distract or even immobilize her opponents due to the noise hurting the ears of everyone hearing her whistle. It however won't work on deaf opponents.
Thunder Wave - MoringMark exclusive ability. Skara can create a thunderstorm with lightning directly striking her opponents. It's Skara's strongest offensive capability. Requires her instrument. Skara can release multiple lightnings one after another dealing even more damage to her enemies. Skara can also choose where her lightning strikes too.
Thunder Strike - inspired by Skara utilising her palismen in LR, I decided to give Skara the ability to be able to charge up either her fist or maybe a leg or even her entire body with electric energy to increase the force in which she would hit her enemies.
Snow Spell - as demonstrated in Something Ventured, Someone Framed, Skara learned how to create snow. She will usually display it as a simple snowball or snow blast attack

Fire Spell - as demonstrated in Something Ventured, Someone Framed, Skara to create snow can also create fire. She will usually use this ability specifically to throw a single fireball.

Hunter The Golden Guard:
I will only mention moves by names rather than delve into specifics as they're too large for that. In the name (with a few exceptions for the sake of clarification for some), there's a link to more of Hunter's capabilities.
Skara and Hunter are friends and teammates. Hunter originally underestimated Skara but he has grown to acknowledge and respect her strategic abilities. He does feel awkward fighting her but to be fair, she's certainly a better sparring partner than Matt.

Hunter "Insert your preferred surname/s for him", also known as a former and the youngest Golden Guard in history, head of the Emperor's Coven, Emperor Belos's right-hand man. One must know that unlike other contestants (aside from Luz) he's not constricted to specific covens and tracks since as a former leader of the coven that allows all kinds of magic, Hunter will have expertise in all types of coven magic as well, and he's also very dedicated to studying wild magic.
Hunter himself was also known as a genius teen prodigy and is undeniably a child soldier who was raised by both hell and the library to get to the very top. While he was born magicless, it did not stop him from earning his title as the right-hand man of the most powerful witch of the Boiling Isles. Hunter spends days and nights both training and learning everything about magic both as a duty and as fun. He's incredibly knowledgeable regarding all kinds of magic, meaning it's hard to actually surprise him with anything. And since he's a child soldier raised in a magical military with no magic by himself, Hunter had to survive hell even worse than some of the adults that also were part of this coven went through, and he survived it all. Hunter has already been to countless witches' duels beforehand, he made it several times through a maze full of traps, and judging by how he calls getting from the top to the bottom of the mountain alive "a classic", this might as well suggest that this Hunter's version of "summer camp", as he did that numerous times and he considers it "fond memories". Hunter without a doubt has the most experience among all participants when it comes to battling, because you know Belos never gave him a break or easy time and for Hunter to be where he is today is all thanks to his own strength, intelligence, and resilience.
Hunter certainly has one of the strongest wills among all characters in TOH, as despite going through a ridiculous amount of pain, he is capable of brushing it off and pushing forward, with his only weakness being Belos. Hunter's willpower was even able to withstand Gus's trauma bubble which specifically puts you through your worst memories and even renders you useless, but Hunter resisted its effect and calmed Gus down instead, despite his pain being very fresh and severe and Hunter in fact not being ok with it, but Hunter keeps on going anyway. One must know it's very hard to break him, trust Belos, he tried but didn't succeed. Hunter even managed to resist Belos's possession for some time, which is a lot considering Belos was his abuser and had power over him metaphorically and physically in that moment.
Hunter displayed throughout the series to have some great athletic skills and agility, being able to keep up pace with running Luz without breaking a sweat while proving he has experience in parkour and acrobatics as seen in him flying on staff. Certainly, he can use his skills to evade incoming attacks with his reflexes while keeping up with his opponents and close distance between him and his enemies. He also has plenty of brute strength at his disposal as well, considering he managed to shatter falling debris by just swinging his staff in one hand.

Hand-To-Hand Combat - Hunter has proven to be efficient in hand-to-hand combat throughout the series. While Hunter overall plays more on defense as a protector rather than offense, he is not afraid to throw a punch. This post goes more in-depth about Hunter's proficiency in staff-wielding, but I will explain some of it here too. Hunter as a trained soldier and experienced martial artist has his body be his weapon. He knows how the body works and has great control over it. He defeated both Luz and Eda in his debut with a quick kick while evading their attack, straight-up toyed with Kikimora, and had to be put to sleep to be restrained by coven scouts as he was still fighting and kicking. This also gives him a huge advantage against other competitors who are used to fighting across distance, whereas Hunter fights at a close range.

Back in EC Hunter learned how to be smart, resourceful, and strong, and as I've mentioned before multiple times, he's a child soldier. His opponents usually underestimate him, but he's not the one to be crossed. His victories compromise of defeating Eda and Luz on 2v1 in his debut; immediately defeating Luz in HP once he's recovered; defeating Kikimora in HP; and Tying with Amity in EL after being physically and mentally exhausted, in 2v1 with King (who was rather defeated by Hunter in this duel), while wielding a completely new staff and restraining himself to not kill her but just getting the key; winning flyer derby game on his first try; catching Darius off-guard (which is a feat with Darius's great reflexes); making a strong glyph combo on his very first try; resisting Gus's trauma bubble; kicking ass during Hexside against EC battle; he was defeated twice by coven scouts, which while fair, was also due to his poor condition and the second time he had to be put to sleep to be restrained; handling abomatons and scouts with rest of the Hexsquad during S2 finale; standing his ground and protecting Hexsquad from Belos while being severely weakened in KT; breaking through Willow's vines in FtF with his freshly awakened powers.
Hunter now is sub-merged with Flapjack meaning he does not require staff anymore to cast spells as magic now comes from within. What's more, I allow Hunter to also levitate/fly without the help of any staff. This is more of a fanon ability, but it's supposed to connect him to having the powers of a palisman (but no, he can't turn into a staff, nor is wooden) and abilities of a palisman are usually just enhanced abilities of the holder, meaning flight is in capacity of any witch, but all of them utilise staff since flight on its own is probably hard spell to pull off, but Hunter should do just fine for the sake of this tournament.

And now finally, let's talk about his staff. For the purposes of this tournament, I will give Hunter Waffles, however, he will only pull her into the semi-finals of the tournament, to signify lore-wise that Waffles is a fresh addition as Hunter was still working through his grief, but from meta-reason to nerf him slightly because you know Hunter is the best staff wielder in the entire tournament only rivaled by Luz. I already mentioned how Hunter is absolutely proficient with his staff, utilizing it for both offensive and very effective strikes and flawless defense. Hunter is also a real aerial ace capable of flying at high speeds with agility to dodge attacks and is capable of even surfing on his staff as demonstrated when he showed off in ASIAS. His flying skills were also decisive in both forming EE and winning their very first game together.

Barrier Spell - is not demonstrated in the show itself but in storyboards of Yasmin Khudari, where Hunter could create a force field to shield Willow from falling debris. In the final product, he just used his own brute strength and staff to protect Willow rather than magic, but I will allow this spell meaning Hunter can create barriers that can withstand heavy hits and create them anywhere he desires.

Flesh-Eating Plant - - this is more of a speculation rather than a confirmed fact, but I rewatched ST, and Luz and Eda weren't originally standing in the flesh-eating plant until GG showed up, so I decided to be funny and say he actually made this plant himself to taunt them, especially since he also knew what it does (which also shows his expertise in plants among many things). Hunter in battles can utilise flesh-eating plants to set traps across the battlefield to both harm and distract his opponents.
