Note
Hi! Your sign up form asks for an email address and an ao3 account, do we have to give the same email account as the one our ao3 uses? It's just I'm more likely to see responses from an alternate email :)
Hi there!
Nope, you just need to give an email you’re going to check. It doesn’t need to be the same email you used to sign up for other events or platforms.

I signed up as a Treat writer, did I have to make a claim on the art? (I know all art has been claimed by writers)
My first time as a Treat maker, just want to make sure I am not messing up.😊
Hi Nonnie!
Nope, you can write treats for any art you choose. Claims are not a limiting factor for treat makers. If you have questions about the art, the mods are happy to anonymously pass those along to artists. Treat makers generally remain anonymous until reveals and do not collaborate directly with artists.
Happy to have you with us this year.

Hail, writers of Arda!
We will be opening third art claims, and 18 artworks still seek their authors. From the shadowy corners of Angband to the flickering Hall of Fire, these stories span the ages of Middle-earth—and they’re waiting for you to bring them to life.
This round is open to all, whether you pledged your service early or have only now wandered into our fellowship. If you’ve ever longed to write tales of Elves, Dwarves, Hobbits, Númenóreans, or even the servants of the Shadow, now is your moment.
Historically, every single prompt has found an author —and we want to keep that 100% match rate alive this year. Let’s make sure no art is left behind!
Third claims open when?
If you’re brand new and have not yet signed up for the event, please just email the mod team with interest and we will hook you up with all the art: tolkienrsb(at)gmail(dot)com
Take up your quill—and help bring the art of Arda to life once more.

TRSB25 Claims Are Almost Here!
In the meantime we'd like to share our favourite claims quotes by some of the Middle Earth participants. Enjoy and happy claiming in 2 hours! :)

“It's a dangerous business, Frodo, claiming an art piece. You open the Preview Gallery, and if you don't keep your keyboard steady, there's no knowing what magical prompt you might be swept off to.” -- Samwise Gamgee during TRSB3019 (probably)
