I've started using substance painter and I'm very happy with how this sweater turned out. I'm not sure if any of you will be able to tell the difference, but I sure can!

bringing this back bc y'all PLEASE be careful about the cc you are downloading right now. multiple meshes i've downloaded recently have been downright unusable, insane polycounts, holes not closed, and these are creators that are charging for patreon sometimes too!!!! please be vigilant about where you choose to spend your money 😳 i literally have had to make a list of creators not to download from 😭

I don’t claim to be an expert on custom content, but I’ve been making CC for nearly 4 years now and I think I’ve learned a thing or two about how to spot custom content that might not be best for your computer/game. I only recently got a computer that can handle some of the CC out there, so I wanted to make a guide on how to spot CC that might not be right for you if you want fast loading times, minimal overheating, or your computer isn’t as powerful. This guide will mostly be about clothing, but I’m sure most of these things can be applied to other types of CC.

if y'all absolutely despise the new tumblr desktop dashboard, I've been using this and it is saving my life

DASHBOARD UNFUCKER V1.0

as 90% of desktop users have probably found out, today @staff released an update that for some insane reason COMPLETELY remodels the dashboard to replicate twitter's. this is of course in the wake of numerous other thoroughly hated changes and a continued refusal to fix any of the site's actual problems, half of which stem directly from site management.

HOWEVER, thanks to the power of jQuery, i was able to throw together a userscript that remodels the dashboard back to its original look almost perfectly.

here is my dashboard right now, with the script active:

it's hardly perfect; i had trouble making it force reload to the fixed layout when switching between other pages and the dashboard, and it currently only fixes just the dashboard. it's also completely untested on browsers other than firefox, and chances are it looks a bit screwy on ultrawide monitors. but for now at least, it's a good fix.

the unfucker is a tampermonkey userscript. all you have to do to use it is install the tampermonkey extension, hit "create new script", and replace the default code on the page with the script (link here) and save it.

i'm retiring (kind of)

Hi everyone!

I have had such a good time making content regularly for the past few months and I wish I could keep doing it. Unfortunately due to financial reasons I will not have to devote my hours that I previously gave to custom content to a new job.

I will be stopping my Patreon on July 1st, meaning no one will be able to subscribe after that point. Because I am still posting this month, some of the items from June will be locked behind early access without you being able to subscribe into July, as is needed to fulfill promises to current patrons. Sorry if it is a bit frustrating to not be able to subscribe to access the early period, but that is unfortunately the only way to close my Patreon equitably that way all current subscribers get their money's worth.

Hopefully if my financial situation changes I may be able to return. I also will probably continue to post some free content here or there on this blog, so it's not like I will be gone completely! I will still be here downloading and participating like all of you :) My discord is also still open and active for chatting as well as cc creator help.
