I think Cena's pipebomb was corny and felt like bad later WCW. 2 really old guys trying to be edgy. Heel Cena is not much different from face Cena lmao and he still said nothing really brutal about Punk (his UFC and AEW embarrassments).

Cena retiring doesn't feel special because he should've done it as a face making someone else a mega star. And Punk is just tired and lame now. He brings absolutely nothing to anything: not his in-ring work or promos or character. There are too many guys better than Punk to give Punk a big spotlight.

I despise how the Triple H era has handled Roman Reigns. It seemed deliberate, to get ride of Vince's roster picks and the functioning of Triple H's politics into the locker room.

Reigns went from the biggest star they had to Randy Orton with cousins. And somehow Seth Rollins gets the most protection from HHH because of their history together.

CM Punk sells out and works for Triple H, which makes their whole beef seem like a work. Punk always planned to return when the favoritism for Punk could be higher. Vince saw Punk as a disappointment. I agree.

Remember CM Punk dissing WWE for not being the last match of Wrestlemania when he was the champ? He said ther'es no such thing as a co-main event. And this year he's in the Night 1 "main event"...and loses. And John Cena wins the actual main event. Can't make this up.

Chris Jericho could have a great run in AEW but it seems Khan lets him do whatever he wants. Jericho has spent 99% of his career being a heel. He's too old now. Old guys are meant to be babyfaces.

Also, The Rock's heel run in WWE is a ripoff of AEW Jericho.

I haven't watched any wrestling in over a year but my top 5 right now are

1. Roman Reigns 2. Chris Jericho 3. Sami Zayn 4. Edge (sorry, "Cope") 5. Toni Storm

This is based purely on how much of a draw they are for me to personally want to watch them live. Jericho might be crap in the ring now but he's one of the most entertaining ever and I will miss him when he's gone.

I think the current booking is shit. I have zero interest in seeing Rock, Cena or Cody Rhodes in 2025. There are some good talents out there like Bo Dallas, Chad Gable, Richochet, Will Ospreay but I don't see them being used well or ever being used well.

What the wrestling business needs is more great bookers. Tony Khan and Triple H are extremely weak IMO and people only like them if they hate Vince McMahon's booking. I hated most of Vince's booking too but he was still better than them. Have people forgotten most of the great Bloodline stuff came from Vince?

I saw John Cena turning on Cody Rhodes for The Rock and found it incredibly stupid. Besides the historic novelty of Cena turning heel, it makes zero sense given the Cena/Rock feud and doesn't make any sense pitting Cody vs Cena except Cena is retiring and he wants to be heel one time. The booking dictated the angle, which is backwards.

But what really pissed me off is its a callback to The Rock turning on Farooq to take over The Nation. So the biggest moment of Cena's career and the reason for this main event is really more about The Rock?

I saw clickbait videos calling Cena's turn the best ever. Give me a break. For comparison, here's a real heel turn that was beautifully executed and set-up nicely and really made you want to see a match. What WWE is doing lately feels like lame retreaded Dusty Rhodes booking from the 1980s. Except Cody is not Dusty Rhodes. He doesn't have the uniqueness or personality or showmanship in the ring. And he definitely doesn't have the promos.

Everything WWE is doing feels like them saying, "Vince wouldn't do this!" Is that necessarily a good thing?

Linda McMahon looking like a fool.Trump has her in charge of the Board of Education while he's announced he's out to shut the whole thing down. Linda was in Trump's 1st administration over Small Businesses. Was anyone shocked that not only did small business imploded under Trump but indie wrestling pretty much died. She was put in that position to destroy all competition for WWE.

This family is evil and you can see how inept and childlike they are when facing people who don't respect wrestling and wrestlers who have to kiss their asses. This family is why I stopped giving money to WWE before Vince sold the company. They're as corrupt as can be. Triple H is their butt monkey and that might make him the least shity but he still signed up to spend his life owned by these people.

She's there at that level helping to destroy America because of decades of wrestling fans not caring about Vince exploiting people from covering up sexually violated ring boys to sell steroids to covering up murder. The McMahons are trash and haven't gotten their punishment yet. But, hey, thank God they lost the WWE.

One of the most underrated heel trios ever. Totally hated by the crowd but got the girls. Song slaps. They were lowkey swagged up too. Had some amazing ladder matches with the Jung Dragons.
