Myfanwy met Bleidd at a TTRPG society meetup at her university, during the period when she was starting to try reaching out to others in the wake of Morgan’s presumed death. She found herself unable to talk to any of the cheerful, jocular people who had already formed little groups and were happily chatting or playing. Then she noticed someone else sitting all alone. On their face she saw her own grief mirrored. That was Bleidd.
Bleidd turned out to be originally from a distant country, and had moved to the Dragon Isles as a young adult with their father, his new wife and their child, Bleid’s little half sister. To make matters worse, Bleidd is considered a fringe conspiracy theorist by their department due to their belief that there is intelligent life in the ocean depths of the Dragon Isles, life that may even have had contact with the Morgwin people, only to be covered up or forgotten. They consider themselves to be a rationalist and their relationship with Myfanwy becomes strained when she begins to experience some things that suggest Morgan’s ghost is haunting her…

As an adult, she becomes a prominent translator specialising in Matsyakanya languages, including some previously unknown to the Morgwin. Eventually, she accidentally ends up involved in the first resurgence of a divinity that has been unheard from since the cataclysmic God War…
