In my attempts to get myself to draw more, I finally went for one of the 400 different little doodle ideas I keep having. In this case, lineless drawings/doodles (?) of Sanrio characters. And by Sanrio characters, it wound up only being Kerokerokeroppi 'cause he's my favorite and also I was just having too much fun drawing him. Cogimyun is there in the little doodles though, she's very cute.

The main drawing is me drawing his "My No 1" plush design (even if it's only a keychain) that I saw 'cause I thought it was cute and then I couldn't help but add a little background. The doodles I included were from me trying to eyeball or guess Keroppi's colors then the other two were from having a few more references (though to be fair, Keroppi HAS had colors like the first one before).

Art Summary 2024

Oh man it's been a while since I posted anything here. Usually, I post these on the last day of the year but I had a pretty busy time that... kind of kept me from doing that to the point I wound up forgetting. And honestly, I've also been using less social media mostly 'cause I've been pretty busy.

Still, I've posted so many art summaries on here that I couldn't not post 2024's. It feels incomplete to do something like that. There are a lot of things that I'm pretty happy about when I look back on the art I've done. It's actually pretty nice - and I'm letting myself post doodles or "less polished" stuff now too. Especially if it's like... one of the only things I've done.

I also decided I would add a little mark for what piece I'm the most proud of this year - which is what I marked as October's. And yeah - marked because technically I finished it in the first week of November but it's my list and I get to consider this October adjacent enough.

Pokecember 2024 Day 2 - Favorite Bug-Type

Guess whose doing Pokecember again? And yep - it's the same prompt list that @aquaspiderart made last year because I want to try to get more of the prompts done this time - even if I redo some. And in this case draw more of the prompts.

I love Ribombee though - I couldn't resist drawing it again and this time, lineless even! This was real cute and fun to do

I have a lot of Mashup Week Megamix adjacent art ideas - and I finally finished one I had in mind since late last year... around November as well! I really got a start on this in October actually. . It's also based off an unofficial one called THE KING AND SHIA which features MAD/EON and the Ruler of Everything but still - it's soooo good.

A friend of mine was hosting a listening party in the Mashup Week Megamix official server with other members abt two weeks ago, and she asked me and others to do art for a few of the tracks with characters they were associated with. I wanted to share mine which was for the song that could be pulled by Lofi Girl and Guzma!

It's based off of Pokestars Studios by combining some of the movies that you can make in the game and especially the outfit Lofi Girl is wearing. Couldn't help but throw in a Dynamax reference as well.

Rough month. But the fact I even got double the amt of attacks done compared to last year is. Impressive, if I'm being honest. So much was working against me this month - from something wrong with my tablet drivers (which I will resolve at least this month considering I remembered how much I love drawing digitally) but I'm still really happy with how these came out!

And man I have my work cut out for me next year haha... but that's alright. I'm happy with the attacks I've done - here's a sample of the ones I've done this year!

Yeah I had a hell of a time trying to focus on this because of some IRL stuff I'm not going into. It was stressful - and all of that is basically why I am so so late with this Art Fight card.

But it's done! With some new characters you should look around at and prooobably others but I do want to at least get more attacks done

Well hey there gang - I finally finished this thing I was doing since March and just. Struggled to keep going at for one reason or another - mainly busy or distracted but! Here they are!

Some simple full-body references of my Heart, Mind and Soul design interpretations! Along with the names I associate with them in my 'cause I've seen people do that - and I think they're a really fun idea! (Went with a star theme)

I don't really have much to add with this other than the fact that I have specific (though simple) ideas of these guys in how I design them. Primarily a mix of how they're depicted in the videos (especially for the most part, fashion wise), with my own design ideas based on how I see them (especially seen with Heart I feel). I miss drawing them - it was fun finally being able to color this in and get it done. Especially since, the longer I was still working on it, the more my ideas changed just for fun little designs aspect (like how I did Soul's pupils and Mind's crown)

I've yet to upload this - and finally I can have the chance proper to without worrying but I updated Kanon's reference and icon. I've always wanted to change up how they look for a while, mostly to lean more into the aesthetic that they like and that they are a 16 year old teen.

And I really like how it went! I'm glad to have finally finished it - and also it gave me the chance to try a new way to make references! I like it - and am kind of inspired how Danganronpa art books showing off different aspects of the character but there's a lot less. I think in the future (and I'll probably update this one) to add likes and dislikes anyways but I didn't really have space to put that in.

It can be improved - but I'm a fan of how it turned out! I thought it would be a little too busy but we'll see how I decide on it.

Funny story/thought process thinking back about my first Jouse doodles with "He ate a cheese".

I drew it because a persistent thought looking at all the Jice was me trying to remember a completely different meme. At first, it was me thinking "Would Jouse say "Mice to meet you"? or something like that which when made me think of "Cheesed to meet you". I thought both (but mostly the latter) were the image of Jerry having eaten a cheese but couldn't remember WHAT it was called.

And as you can tell - it was NEITHER. And not only that - I just realized I wasn't even remembering the Mice to meet you thing correctly, I'm thinking of 'It's on the mouse'--

More OC stuff and yep - another lineless. This is actually deceptively simple in terms of the stuff I'd done on it. I haven't tried to make a piece that was upside down before, I don't often depict water in some way and also I'm trying out some new stuff with the lineless style (though I have Atticus to thank for suggesting that)

I don't have much to say about this one bar it being fun to draw Kaname again with some new design stuff ^_^ Although... one of those aspects is a different hair color but... yeah a palette piece wouldn't quite show that haha...

Are you ready for a funny little post involving my OCs? This is my guy, IZZY (it/its pronouns). I've done a fully colored ref for the two forms that it has - AI form and robot form. Its based off of Adventure by Madeon in a thing me and some friends did where we made OCs based off of albums! Fun fact: That's why it's named IZZY, because it's short for "Isometric", a song on the album and incidentally where I got some design ideas from.

IZZY is like - a helper AI that usually does things around the city it lives in - little odd tasks and the occasional "therapy" in the sense that it talks to people. People are pretty comfortable around it - so it knows a lot of different stories that it finds so interesting and cool and wonderful!! Whenever it needs to actually walk around anywhere, it can also inhabit its robot body.

Finally drew something with one of my OCs that's a full-piece again of some kind. I was introduced to a lasso fill tool for Clip Studio Paint which I then took to make a lineless.

Fun fact - I was thinking about using this specific palette since December and then. Kind of forgot about it but I've picked it up again and honestly? Good tool - definitely want to do more lineless art with it.

Me when I think of Soul and draw him a bunch with different brushes I have on Clip Studio Paint because I like him the most and don't draw him enough compared to the other two.

Also have a Soul as one of those scrunkly looking cats that I did now that I finally figured out how to make a brush that defaults not having pen pressure on CSP (it took me four years).

I have two different readings of Concord which all depend on what I do with Whole (concept and character), to the point it feels like one one of them would be an AU and no, I'm not saying which one it is. But while I have my headcanons and "rules", I will also say that Concord without much else known is also a comedy to me.

My April Fool's sona idea was going to be something else entirely before my friends made a new Cookie Run Kingdom edibility tier list video and I remembered I never designed a Cookie sona so that's what we're going with.
