Nickname
My nickname is tracelette, given to me by a wonderful long time friend on my 21st birthday over lunch break. In the era of "valley girl", "dude" and "dudette" were tops of pop culture language. I opened my gift of a beautiful bracelet and Janet busted out, "a bracelet for tracelette!" It was magical; meant to be. When I started my writing career in 2014, I decided to publish under that name. Sounds like a dedication to Janet is due!
