Broke: The Catholic faith has nothing to say to the modern world. It’s incompatible with life today. Humanity has grown beyond faith in divine or saintly persons and moral absolutes.
Woke: The Catholic faith has a lot to say to life today, and can be enthusiastically accepted by everyone if we just explain it so it isn’t misunderstood.
Bespoke: The Catholic faith is hard and challenging. It is radically opposed to our culture and the way that even most Catholics actually go about their daily lives. If we’re not being challenged in our internal attitudes and our external actions, we need to take a harder look at our faith.

I am learning to be okay with chipped nail polish, with stray threads on shirts and scuffs on boots.
I am learning how to live with hair that doesn’t lay straight, with teeth that are a little crooked and with eating foods that aren’t 100% ‘clean’ and ‘healthy’.
I am learning to stop looking at the clock, to take my time and to breathe, because an imperfect life is where perfection is found.

Really? Y’all are seriously going to claim that it’s “homophobic” to be concerned about an 11 year old boy dancing for the enjoyment of grown ass men at an adults only event in exchange for money?
Bitch, many of the people calling this shit out are LGBT themselves. Because it’s fucking creepy.
Allow me to reiterate. An 11 year old boy performed in drag at a gay club for men several times his age, at an event that was explicitly for people aged 21 or over, in exchange for money. You seriously don’t see anything wrong with that? This is the kind of shit that homophobic pundits would use against us.
YOU SHOULD BE OUTRAGED ABOUT THIS! THERE’S NOTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS SITUATION! THERE’S NOTHING THAT SHOULD BE CELEBRATED HERE!

"We feel that it is wrong when a big country tries to push around some very small countries, especially on an issue that is really important for the rest of the world," pointed out the Russian delegate, cited by Nytimes.com. "We were astonished, appalled and also saddened," noted UK advocacy group Baby Milk Action policy director Patti Rundall, a member of the WHA decision-making body since the late 1980s.

I bet you Trudeau will shed some tears and then do nothing.
And the Tories will continue supporting Israel no matter what.

One - yes, I agree that it is unkind to pull off someone’s hijab. It’s also fricking stupid and anyone who gets a thrill off this is would make an eight-year-old  look mature.
Second - a woman being forced to wear a hijab is a symbol of oppression. Real feminists in Middle Eastern countries rebel by not wering the hijab. Anyone who wears a hijab and proclaims they are a feminist is a fake.
It is our duty as feminists to protect and respect women in Hijabs

Women are claiming they’re going on a ‘sex strike’ if Roe vs Wade gets overturned.
Looks like we’ve figured out how to de-thot the nation.

This is what TED talks have come to. But is it really a surprise?
"Only 20-30% of child molesters are pedophiles." Give me a break.
"You probably know at least 1 pedophile." Time to get out the pitchforks.
The "distinguishing" between pedophiles and child molesters is absolutely ridiculous. Accept pedophiles otherwise they will molest children! GARBAGE.
"No one chooses to be a pedophile and no one can stop being one."
The only good thing from this is that TED talks removed the video and YouTube keeps trying to remove it as it is uploaded, showing that they at least feel some shame. Also notice the silence through the video. Usually, there will be applause, laughter, or comments of affirmation throughout a talk. No such thing here.
However, that doesn't mean we're safe from this happening again. Pedophilia is beginning to be pushed more and more in today's society. They will keep pushing as society begins to accept the idea just a little bit more.

So apparently, this isn’t the first time that TED Talks has allowed pedophilia apologists onto it’s platform.
Bear in mind that this is the same organization that refused to publish a talk given by Rupert Sheldrake on ‘The Science Delusion’, so they clearly have the power to decide what gets seen online and what doesn’t.

I agree that this is humorous, but racism?? Really? It’s racist when you can’t honestly tell two people apart but are trying your best?
God. You can never please these people.
