Bloggers and best friends Kayaan Contractor and Shereen Bharwani are deep into the fashion world. They met when Bharwani was obsessed with platform shoes in 1998-99. A Yamaguchi based company, Ogori Shoji opened a unisex clothing store in 1984. It was then called Unique Clothing Warehouse. At first, the brand was going to be registered under the name ‘unique clothing’ i.e. uni-clo. However, the C was misread as Q and the brand name came to be known as Uniqlo. By 1994 there were over a 100 stores operating all throughout Japan.

The world is their target, Uniqlo stores are opened in Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, China, France, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, UK, and USA. They are geared to set up a store in India in the year 2019.

According to the CEO (2017) Nobuo Domae, The essence of Uniqlo lies in embracing the best trends that are updated at the right time. Not too early, nor too late.  They create artistic patterns and rhythm. Their clothing reflects characteristics of modern Japanese.

Today, right here I bring you style hacks. That’s right, boys. Don’t throw away your old shirt or torn jacket. Keep that old pair of jeans because after reading this you’ll know exactly what to do will all the clothes you thought were getting too old.

1. You got a pair of Denim jeans? I got three different styles for you.

First : take your pair of jeans, wear them and then stand in front of a mirror. Begin folding at the ankle. Three folds only on either side. That’s your first style.

The next style you can go for:  Is tucking your jeans inside your boots or high ankle shoes. It looks really good.

Lastly: you could try this. Just leave it the way it is. Sometimes regular jeans look just perfect.

#2 How to style a long sleeve t-shirt

First: fold the sleeves at the ends to make it look a little different.

Second: you can try throw on as jacket or blazer.

Third: You can rip off the sleeves and turn it into a sleeves tee.

#3 Use your shirt more than once 

First: You can give it to your girlfriend. Girls love oversized shirts. If you don’t have a girlfriend you can try pairing it with a full outside and tie it around your waist like this:

As kids, we dream to have a kingdom of our own.  One might dream of growing up to be a Barbie warrior princess, where another might imagine himself as Naruto. when we’re teens we want to be reckless, dangerous, enjoy life to the fullest because we think we’re running out of time.

I wonder if this is what Arjun Vajpai thought when he discovered his love and passion for mountaineering. There is so much to do and so much to conquer before the clock stops ticking. At the tender age of 16, he successfully climbed Mount Everest. Breaking the record set by Krushnaa Patil of Maharashtra, he didn’t stop himself from going after the next venture.

Where most of us shy away from the idea of spending time in classes, he underwent two years of training at the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering.  When passion, no boundary is visible and no hurdles seem too big, right?

2010 marked Arjun’s achievement of climbing Mt. Everest. In the following years, this young man pushed himself and made not one but three attempts to scale Mt. Makalu which happens to be the fifth highest mountain in the world and sixth most difficult to scale with a death toll twice as large as Mt. Everest.  He succeeds in the fourth attempt.  One of the biggest challenges he faces when climbing Mount Cho Oyu in 2012 was that he lost the meters to the sensation of the left side of his body due to lack of oxygen. He crawled meters to base camp which took him 17 hours using only his right arm and leg. This didn’t scare the brave heart. He returned in 2016 to finish what he had started.

It was difficult finding sponsors for his expeditions that amounted to around 52 lakhs, but now Arjun believes that there will be people to back him up along the way.

In an interview with India Today, the young man had quite a story to narrate about his experiences but he made sure to give us a sneak peek into his future plans saying, "I am possibly the only full-time mountaineer in India, and my aim is to be the youngest to summit all of the 14 highest peaks in our world.” He has already climbed five of them.

He has big dreams and claims that his next venture will be Kangchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world. In an interview, he said, “On one side you have a steep fall into Nepal and the other side is another into Tibet. You just keep looking at the summit then because looking anywhere else could cost you your life."
