I wash my binder in the shower so I don’t have to worry about family walking in on my washing it
How to have a binder without your parents knowing:
Open a private window on your browser and pick the binder you want online, add it to the website’s shopping cart and start to check out until you find how much it costs with shipping and tax. If you don’t have access to a computer at home, use one at the library.
Save up enough money to buy the binder. Make sure you have a few dollars extra for the extra fee of buying a prepaid card, which can be around $4. If you have a debit card but don’t want your parents to see the purchase, withdraw money from your account and use the cash to buy a prepaid card. You can say you just wanted to have some cash in case you needed it.
Go into a store and buy a prepaid VISA gift card. They have them at lots of stores, even CVS. (You can also ask a friend to do this if you can’t walk/bike/get a ride to a store on your own)
Prepaid credit cards require you to be 18 to open an account, but you can purchase prepaid gift cards at a grocery or other store at any age and use them wherever Visa, MasterCard or AMEX are accepted.
These gift cards, which aren’t reloadable, usually carry an activation fee along the lines of $4.95 for every $50 increment. You usually find them in denominations of $25, $50 or $100.
Buy the binder online. Put the name on the card as “Visa” in the payment section of the website.
Clear your internet history if you’re at home and didn’t use a private browser window. Make sure the invoice is sent to an email that only you have access to, or a disposable email (just google “disposable email”)
Figure out where you’re going to get it shipped to.
Ship it to a consenting friend’s house or an accepting relative, if you have one.
Ship it to your own house and try to get the mail yourself. If the parent gets there first, say you bought a present for someone. You may have to go to a store in person and buy a physical present to then gift to cover up that it wasn’t in the package. You could also ask a friend to lend you a shirt, tell your parents you won a shirt in a giveaway or bought it but decided to give it to a friend as a present, then give the shirt back to the friend.
Get a PO box if you’re going to be getting things in the mail frequently.
If you buy an Underworks binder on Amazon you can pick it up at an Amazon Locker at Whole Foods or a different location.
Hide it when you get it.
Handwash it when it gets dirty. Or start doing your laundry yourself. Wring it out and hang it to dry in the back of your closet.
Bring it in a bag with you to change into it when you’re out of the house.
(Or ask a friend with a debit/credit/gift card to buy you a binder if you give them the cash.)

Make sure you read multiple reviews before you buy a packer, because some companies are scams or just shitty. Three companies to avoid are below:
Don’t shop at packer locker (It’s a scam and I personally lost $15 dollars from them that I never got back and others have lost more)
Don’t shop at The Ultimate Prosthetic (This is also a scam and people have lost hundreds of dollars and never recieved products)
Don’t shop at FtmConnect (the owner is racist and the packers aren’t even that great anyway)

This is the Dysphoria Demon. My boyfriend drew this to give a face to his dysphoria and how it makes him feel in hopes that others may relate. He is also selling prints of this, and will be doing other similar drawings (possibly commissions too, just ask) as we are both on social assistance and can always use extra grocery money/etc. Thanks everyone! Message here asking for Jonah or Facebook message me at Jonah Jase Greening (the icon is currently black and white sketch style of my face)

1. Demisexual 2. Demi trans dude 3. It clicked in 8th grade 4. I like more feminine or androgynous people 5. My SOs mom has been very kind and supportive of me, and accepted everything instantly and went out of her own way to educate herself about trans issues and rights and such 6. Love it!!!! I wish I could participate more 7. Last year I skated in the local pride parade with my roller derby team, and I hope to do it again 8. They are either inaccurate or the characters die :/ 9. Sometimes 10. My closest friends, my SO, my SO's family, and most recently a family friend who has decided they're my drag mom ^-^ 11. Gay 12. Find a safe space. Do it. You need to have somewhere are where you can be you whether it's a club at school or your best friends room. 13. Friends: yes, family: I tried and they have vehemently denied everything 14. I don't mind it. It makes sense to me in this heteronormative gender roles filled world 15. Sometimes, depends on the person and their own beliefs 16. Only do it if you feel like you need to do it. If you know it will be unsafe have a plan ready to leave immediately. 17. Stereotypes for everything, treating lgbtqa+ characters like they're a fuckkng novelty, queerbaiting 18. Lgbtqa+ actors being vocal about issues 19. That we're rare, basically non existent, or just never brought up anything altogether 20. I would if my partner had the same genitals and if I were interested in sex but I'm also an ace trans person so this question is kinda uncomfy 21. Being a hateful person, trump supporter 22. Being someone I trust, being a good person 23. They're great, esp. for youth who may not have any other safe space 24. I personally don't mind it (but don't us ID with it), and I respect anyone who is very uncomfortable or triggered by it 25. I'm in the US so it's hit or miss on "YAY GAY PEOPLE" or "FUCK THE FAGS AND ALSO YOU CANT PEE IN MY RESTROOM" 26. Laverne Cox 27. Be an ally, don't pretend you know everything just because you have one ~~gay friend(tm)~~ 28. "But how can you be a boy when you have those ungodly tits and that tight pussy?" 29. Depends on the question. I hate questions that should be none of anyone's business. 30. Aromantic I guess...? I hate going on dates and ding romancey shit but sign me the fuck up for cuddling on the couch lmao

i absolutely love atheists who:
realize that indoctrination from childhood is wrong
have themselves escaped that indoctrination
use the revelation that faith is not necessary to be a good person to be that good person exactly
have found peace of mind in atheism
i do not!!! like atheists who:
insist that all religions are evil and terrible
immediately discredit all religious people as stupid or ignorant
prove themselves just as single- and close-minded as religious extremists
actively advocate for the abolition of religion
like… theres limits yall, chill

Hey anon me too! I don't know about your dysfunction but personally mine gets really easily triggered by any exertion so I only bind when I'm around the house (my school is too big to bind there unfortunately). I will typically wear a tight sports bra and shirts that are baggy in my tummy to kinda conceal the whole chesticles thing but I don't know your physique or if that would work. I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents as another person with vocal chord dysfunction.
Also if you can/if your dr hasn't told you about this there is speech therapy you can do that teaches you to almost control and breathe your way out of attacks which is very helpful especially when binding or exercising and the such.
You can feel free to message (either via anon ask or through the IM system) me and ill see if I can help out at all too!
So I was recently diagnosed with vocal cord dysfunction, and so basically what that is is like the opposite of asthma, instead of not being able to get air out, I can't get air in (at random times) because my vocal cords won't move out the way sometimes. I don't know if I should wear a binder, like my spasms aren't really bad, sometimes I want to wear my binder idk what to do. I think my dysphoria won't be too bad if I don't wear it. I'm just conflicted.
Have you talked to your doctor (if you’re out to them) about the binder conflict? Maybe try the binder on and see how it affects the spams or makes it worse at all? I wouldn’t over do it, I wouldn’t wear the binder for more than a few hours at a time just for a safety trial. If anything, if your chest allows it, you could try KT tape, if you don’t wrap it around your whole torso completely, it’s less restricting than a binder that encloses the whole chest and back. Tell us how it goes and if there’s anything else we can do!

So I just heard about “Primed: The Back Pocket Guide for Trans Men and the Men Who Dig Them.” It’s the first sexual health resource written by and for gay, bi and queer trans men/ transmasculine people, put out by Rainbow Health Ontario, and it’s a very frank guide that answers basically any questions you might have about safer sex. They’ve released it for free download here.

Shout out to my “”“”“non-passing”“”“” trans brothers and sisters that get misgendered every day. S/o to the trans people that can’t present how they want because of safety reasons. I love you all, and this shit sucks so much but your gender is COMPLETELY valid, no one can take that away from you. Hang in there and shine beautifully.
