My Traveling In Stilettos Series continues...setting sail on a Pirate's Dinner Show Adventure.
It was an action-packed night full of oooohhhs and aaahhhs as I embarked on an interactive voyage...with Captain Sebastian the Black and his pirate crew! Aaaaaarrrggghh!

My Traveling In Stilettos Series continues...venturing on a 4.5 mile hike (approx. 2.5 hours)...this time, escaping away to Switzer Falls. A popular waterfall scenic spot in the Angeles National Forest!
It was an amazing day for an adventure...just the perfect dose of sunshine & lots of shade...I enjoyed the serene sound of the babbling creek that outlined majority of the trail...and, the stunning panoramic views of the San Gabriel mountains was one to be admired.
As much as I relished every bit of today's nature exploration...I must confess, the narrowing trail (extremely close to the cliff's edge) leading down to the cascade made my heart skip a beat (maybe, even 2)...but, what a solace it was to finally witness the beautiful site of the waterfall...unperturbed of the hustle and bustle of my city life, only minutes away on the other side.
Indeed, another much needed getaway...
And, a "must-see" nature spot when visiting Los Angeles.

Let's just say, I walked among the stars! Hollywood's biggest names immortalized with bronze star-plaques, embedded in pink and charcoal terrazzo squares...stretched along the Boulevard.

After an incredible time at the Aquarium...I took a stroll out onto the marina. The scenery was picture perfect with its gorgeous view of Downtown Long Beach and the Queen Mary.
My eyes quickly gazed upon a lighthouse perched on a hill. The Lighthouse is ten-story tall, and is known as the "Lions Light House for Sight" it stands in Long Beach's Rainbow Bay as an ongoing reminder of the Lions Club International's dedication to ending blindness in the world.
Then, I was swept away on a harbor cruise of the Long Beach Shoreline. Enjoying the history of the harbor...admiring sealions...and, even capturing the beauty of a stunning sunset.

Traveling In Stilettos - Los Angeles Adventure Series continues...this time, I ventured into the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.
The Aquarium is a non-profit 501(c)3. Its mission is to instill a sense of wonder, respect & stewardship for the Pacific Ocean, its inhabitants, and ecosystems.
WOW. It was a whole new world under the sea...I was enamored by the diverse selection of marinelife. The exhibits featured an incredibly fascinating range of animals and fish.
From bat rays, butterflyfish, garden eels, giant lobsters, umbrella jellies, sea urchins, seahorses, seadragons, sealions, frogs, diving birds and penguins...
Ooohhhhh, and the beautiful coral reefs were a rainbow of colors. Not to mention, a Shark Lagoon! And, an aviary.
Indeed, another must-visit in the city of Angels. It's an interactive, engaging place for kids and adults alike to enjoy and explore.

Last night's dinner destination was a surprise venue...I was whisked away to Yamashiro in Hollywood.
Yamashiro translates as “Mountain Palace” in Japanese. It's name perfectly fitting, as it is situated atop a hill...with breathtaking panoramic views of Hollywood. There's also an Inner Courtyard, with a garden in the center, filled with beautifully sculpted plants, and a stone-hewn pool. The ambiance of the entire restaurant makes for one out of the movies...the silk tapestry on the walls, chairs made with material of huge, stunning floral design...and, the gorgeous landscaping on the outskirts calling for a picture or 2.
The food delightful. And, desserts to die for.
Indeed...another absolute must-visit when visiting the City of Angels.

My travels continue...looking for the hottest places to hold private events in Los Angeles this Labor Day weekend. I ventured into this beautiful mansion...seeking out venues that would make for an ideal vacation hotspot, photoshoots, filming, red carpet, private parties, weddings, galas, and Masterclass retreats.
