There was still much to build, new paths to forge. He simply left, a quick stride carrying him out the door and into the halls where he again hid himself from all eyes.

It's the first day that he spends away from the lab holding the cube since his fall. Selvig putters along, understanding only a fraction of what he's been given to study, overly cautious for a scholar, almost wary. Loki shadows the Director of SHIELD and his many right hands. Hill, Coulson, others. He whispers to them too, carefully plants new and gentle understanding of what they need.

It's the Hawk that he puts there, changing their thoughts of him by degrees so that he is elevated in their need. It gains the man privilege, access to more and better, and the slowly forming option to be more than a hired gun.

As promised, he's in the man's barrack's waiting when he returns that night.

Loki's only answer was to bare his throat all the more, arching it enough that it would press into the metal held there. "Are you deaf? I already said, by all means."

He purred, straddling the other’s chest in order to hold down his shoulders whilst he pulled a blade of his own from within the folds of his clothing. “Want to play?" He grinned, tracing the knife against the god’s pale neck.

He himself was flawless with an array of throwing knives, and until he could be shown otherwise, would make no note of anyone else matching his own skill. Still the wheels of his mind never tire of their ceaseless spinning. Thin lips purse.

“Hmm?" Loki questioned, sitting cross legged next to his twin with a smile, tilting his head slightly. “Am I? Should we test that?"

The pale god sighed contentedly, leaning forwards just enough to swipe his tongue over the hard flesh his hand was working. "My perfect pet." He murmured praise, sitting back and going away long enough to get out Clint's preferred chains. Not that they were chains at all, really. Just wide leather cuffs attached to strong cord that would let Loki position him however he wanted and make him hold it.

"On your knees, Barton. I want you sitting back on your heels."

"You're wrong." Loki answered, not hesitating to spit a bold lie. Besides, it wasn't much of one. The contract demanded he be used in bed, and where he came from.. well.. that was hardly ownership.

In the meantime. Who wants Avengers stuff? If you live in the contiguous 48 and aren't scared I'll ship myself to your door, like this post and in about two weeks when I get off my lazy behind [read: when the wife makes me] I will ship you a handful of stuff.

It's probably going to be stickers and candy and anything I can find with The Avengers plastered on it.
