“That’s not bad. I would throw a party for that grade..” Percy says, embracing his girlfriend tightly, to hold away all of the stress, the disappointment of herself, the sadness, the embarrassment. Just to comfort her.

“It’s bad for me. I always get 9’s and 10’s… What is going on with me this year? I was the best student last year… Did I hit my head? Almost everyone got higher grades…” Annabeth says, small tears falling down her eyes. She knows she might come out as annoying, but she’s truly in distress.

“Don’t worry about it. It’s nothing. It doesn’t mean anything. It’s just this one time, and if it isn’t then it’s okay too. You’re human, and you’re allowed to struggle” Percy says, in his moment of wisdom, kissing her head and wrapping her in a blanket. “Let’s just rest for today…”

Annabeth used to be an indoor girl, she used to study, or read inside cabin 6, in the peaceful silence of a cozy library, the coldness of the walls, and the distant sound of other kids playing.

But when Percy arrived in her life she changed habitats, she finally enjoyed the feeling of sunlight on her skin as she’s thinking. For the first time she got a very notorious tan line and Percy absolutely loves it, because it’s proof that even though they don’t do the same activities, they’re together, watching each other.

I have the theory that at some point Leo or someone in cabin 9 managed to create half blood friendly technology. So now every Demigod can use a phone, tablet and laptop without having to worry about a monster attack.

Of course they all knew how to use a phone/tablet/laptop, they just had little screen time. They all have basic knowledge in technology.

But not Nico, no, he barely knows how to use the tv at Nico’s house. He’s like your grandpa trying to understand how tiktok works.

I don’t think Annabeth is a big reader. I mean she reads more than the average but it’s mostly architecture books or maybe something she wants to learn about, but she doesn’t just enters a bookstore and comes out with a credit debt. She goes in, sees if a book is interesting and if it’s worth it she’ll buy it, but it’s not such a big thing for her.

Who is the reader? Malcom, that boy hasn’t slept since sunrise of the reaping came out. His bookshelf at cabin 6 is already full so he has books under his bed.
