Kinda? I'm thinking about ways to handle their relationship and god!aus setting and characters in general since its kinda bland, but I think godau Elil doesn't particularly care about children, with the sole exception being Lutrin since he made them and he's kinda possessive in general. Lutrins kind of a weird kid and Elil is a Really weird person so their relationship in general is just. Strange.

Like, he's not a Bad parent in the sense that he hurts his kids, he's just kind of distant until he's not and then he's really overwhelming to deal with even if its positive. Lutrin mostly interacts with him just to get things but Elil doesn't really care

You know I never really thought too hard about what would actually keep 2/11s relationship working, because they were created for this exact gimmick and exact relationship, they were never going to end up in any other way, but I think it ultimately comes down to expectation

I dont think Eileil got with Riikii because he found him being a lowblood hot specifically or whatever, but I think it was a part of the appeal in a different way. You know, "all highbloods are the same", maybe he felt like he needed someone who wouldn't really be able to expect anything too much out of him. Someone he didn't have to perform around all the time

Like, it's not the lowbloodness even, its just that it's Riikii. Riikii's a very very simple person. Deceptively simple almost. He's predictable if you know him, he won't change himself for anybody - even people he likes, he's always honest in basically everything, and he treats people equally and how he wants to treat them. So he's very easy to understand, and understanding your partner and being alright with the person they are is integral to a relationship, I feel. So the (internal) expectations in this relationship aren't very difficult for either party. It's most successful when neither expects more than the other is willing to give

But Riikii could only become that type of person through the life he's lived, so Eileil having a very specific type(lowbloods) probably came FROM the relationship with Riikii, not the other way around. So ig healthy relationships...breed fetishes..?
