Hello, my fellow lovely RPers! The Admin Team have been discussing a new idea and we’ve decided to make a change to These Streets. We have decided to make TS a private RPG.

What this means is that we currently will not be accepting any new members, as we believe we have a nice amount right now. We will also no longer be doing activity checks - but of course encourage you all to get on as much as possible! We just want to take some pressure off.

We also will not be having any more set events---but fear not! You and your partner can do event style threads whenever you want. Just specify, either in the tags or the title, if it is a canon thread, a future thread, or any sort of AU thread. We ask that players still use the same starter tags--streetsstarter and streetseventstarter.

Current players will also be able to make new characters as they please, as long as they aren’t overloading themselves and give us warning so we can keep track of taken FCs.

We love you all so much, and this does not mean that the RP is closed. Far from it. We are still here. If any of this needs clarification/you have questions, don’t hesitate to ask!

SUPERHERO EVENT / HALLOWEEN PARTY

Hello friends! Its been a while since we’ve had an event - to make up for that, and in honor of These Streets being open for two years this month, we are going to have two events this month.

Our first event will be a superhero event! For that week, the RP will enter into an AU where all of the characters have super powers. What the power is is completely up to you! Feel free to go as wild as you want for this event. All that we ask is you post what your character’s power is before the event with the tag ‘streetsevent’ so we can all see! This event will take place October 9th - October 16th. It will start at midnight EST on the 9th, and end at midnight on the 16th.

For our second event, we will be doing our annual Halloween party at NY Dolls. Characters will be invited to come in costume and party the night away. We encourage you to post your character’s costume in the ‘streetsevent’ tag so that we can see what they dress up as! Since Halloween this year falls on a Monday, we’re going to have this event last for the final weekend of October, starting October 28th at 9pm EST and ending on October 31st at 11pm EST.

Like our events in the past, this one will be played out on the dashboard and not on any other sites (such as Chatzy) so for the party event starters should be assumed to be at the party, unless they went home early in which case please make sure it’s in the tags somewhere.

As always, tag starters with ‘streetseventstarter’ as well as ‘streetsstarter’.

Hello lovely players!

As some of you may have noticed, things have been a little slow lately. The Admin Team is currently working out some event and task ideas that we’re hoping will pick things up! We’re also going to be doing some changes.

The main change is that we are going to be deleting all of the currently open premades. We’re sorry if this inconveniences anyone as far as connections go; we’re doing this so the main will be a little easier to handle, and more FCs will be open to new players!
