A compilation of stuff I know about drawing Asian faces and Asian culture! I feel like many “How-To-Draw” tutorials often default to European faces and are not really helpful when drawing people of other races. So I thought I’d put this together in case anyone is interested! Feel free to share this guide and shoot me questions if you have any! I’m by no means an expert, I just know a few things from drawing experience and from my own cultural background.

I love that you don't correct people thinking you are gay. Like you just roll with it. Or are you gay?
I have been straight for the last 22 years. But you know, there’s always tomorrow, amigo

I love you, @sadoeuphemist , but I must disclose that any damage (including that Infiiac dies) in the Hunagrian-Cosmic wars is caused by sheer luck and the power of accidents on behalf of the Hungarians.
That said. Write a book. Or two. I won't complain if you write more.
You are a lazy super villain that’s been given a piece of software that can predict the butterfly effect of any action you put into it. Write about how you are gonna conquer the world without any effort while watching Netflix.

hi, a lot of you need a perspective reset
the average human lifespan globally is 70+ years
taking the threshold of adulthood as 18, you are likely to spend at least 52 years as a fully grown adult
at the age of 30 you have lived less than one quarter of your adult life (12/52 years)
'middle age' is typically considered to be between 45-65
it is extremely common to switch careers, start new relationships, emigrate, go to college for the first or second time, or make other life-changing decisions in middle age
it's wild that I even have to spell it out, but older adults (60+) still have social lives and hobbies and interests.
you can still date when you get old. you can still fuck. you can still learn new skills, be fashionable, be competitive. you can still gossip, you can still travel, you can still read. you can still transition. you can still come out.
young doesn't mean peaked. you're inexperienced in your 20s! you're still learning and practicing! you're developing social skills and muscle memory that will last decades!
there are a million things to do in the world, and they don't vanish overnight because an imaginary number gets too big

Turning eighteen means realizing you cannot relive the time you spent being a child... it's not 'lost' , it's just engraved forever in the steel of time.

I'm so done with spanking!
I have read several Harry Potter fanfictions, which, in one way or another incorporate spanking. It it's smut, go for it honey, have an amazing time I'm here for it, slay queen (if everyone consented and is appropriate age!)
But
When the Mentor Figure of a young, abused Harry decides that regular spanking sessions are needed, because he "NEEDS TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ABUSE AND DISCIPLINE" and also, because God forbid the kid who was abused and beaten to hell and back EVERY GOD DAMNED DAY is being spoiled a little bit, I am enraged. Mind you, not a pat on the ass, regular sessions, with a hairbrush or a chancla, and the kid (WHO IS 11 OR OLDER) is screaming crying throwing up? Girl, that seems HELLA FISHY. Almost like... you'd enjoy doing it. It's for the Bigger Good, you said, but what is exactly the Bigger Good?
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
#harry potter#spanking#m8 I'm so done it ain't even funny#touch therapy souldn't lead to more theraphy#but what do I know#iykyk#dnf#dnf-ed several works bc of this#this is just an opinion#but I need to see if others think this too

For anyone who hasn't seen them before, Hidden Search Operators are handy tricks you can use when you're either searching or filtering AO3.
summary: string is a generic way of explaining that you can search AO3 for a specific word that appears in a summary. You can do this from the search bar in the header, from the Any Field box at the top of the Advanced Search form, or from the Search Within Results box at the bottom of the filter menu.
Examples:
summary: Bruce
summary: "Bruce Banner"
summary: Bruce OR summary: Banner OR summary: Hulk
You need to put quotation marks around your search term if it is more than one word. The quotes make sure that the site searches for those two words together.
The other two operators listed work best in the Search Within Results box.
expected_number_of_chapters: 1 will return results where every fic has only 1 chapter currently posted.
You can use expected_number_of_chapters: -1 if you want results where every fic has more than 1 chapter currently posted.
otp:true will return results where there is only 1 relationship tag on the fic. If you want results where there are 2+ relationship tags (and no fics with only 1 relationship tag) then you can use otp:false

Sup! This was a wee bit short-term and I've been meaning to get this thing up once again so here it issss
If you think about Greek×Roman PJO or HoO fics, I'm sure you can say more top!dom!Roman character than Greek. And why is this? Because people think Greeaks are the reckless, bold ones who need a caretaker.
But the fact is, that they aren't.
Yes, there are Greeks who may want to be adored and taken care of. And let's give these characters what they deserve.
The Romans have to have far more self-control, they have to restrain themselves more, than the Greeks who sometimes just simply go feral.
I think they just want to let go the control and be the ordered ones.
(Guess who has had enough of sub!Greeks, and wanted to rant abt it.)
So, whaddaya think?

It's so weird talking to people who's view of "here's the way life is for everyone" is shattered as soon as they talk to someone with disabilities (physical, mental illness, any). Like you'll say you'll have a problem and instead of helping you they'll argue with you about how you're not actually facing that problem. Like,
Me: Hey, I'm really struggling to find a job and a part of it is my resume. I was depressed & psychotic during highschool so I didn't do anything to gain skills or achievements to put on my resume. I also don't have anyone to put as a reference. What can I do?
Them: You can add your skills, hobbies, clubs you're in, and different volunteer work you've done! You can also get your teacher as a reference.
Me: I already know what to put on a resume, my issue is that I don't have things that I can use. Also, I'm in my mid 20s so I don't know if I can put my highschool teacher as a reference.
Them: Well if you're a part of a church or an activity group, you could add that. Also, think of any projects you've worked on in the past.
Me: I already know you can put these things on a resume. I'm not looking for suggests of things I've already done, I'm looking for what I can do now if I haven't done anything.
Them: There's no way you didn't do anything during highschool?? What about some odd jobs you definitely did for extra money, like babysitting or mowing the lawn?
Me: I spent all of highschool either in modified classes or in bed doing nothing - not even hobbies, what about that do you not understand?
And then you talk to someone who's also disabled and they're like "Here's a bunch of jobs you can do from home that don't pay much but look good on a resume, here's some free online courses that also look good on a resume, here's how you can be making small amounts of money in the meantime, here's some things you can put besides a professional reference, and here are your rights if your future employer tries to take advantage of your disability - which you probably shouldn't tell them about unless you need accommodations."
And suddenly my will to continue trying returns!
