I’m a lesbian

Kalim confesses his feelings to Y/N, only to have Y/N tell him that she’s a lesbian. Instead of feeling heartbroken, Kalim offers to help find Y/N a girlfriend.

When you saved Kalims butt from being on fire at the opening ceremony, he instantly fell in love with you. Kalim started buying expensive furniture and clothes for you, hoping that you would one day ask him to go on a date. However, after months of waiting, you never asked him out. Worried that you might not be noticing his advances, Kalim decided to speed up the process and confess his love to you instead.

         “Do you think she’ll like these, Jamil”? Kalim asked as he held up a bouquet of f/c roses to Jamil’s face. Jamil just rolled his eyes and moved the flowers away before looking at Kalim. “I think she will, Kalim. After all, Y/N does love all the gifts that you give her.” That was all Kalim needed to hear before darting to the door. “I'd better get going then! I need to let Y/N know how I feel now so we can go out on our first date tonight”! Kalim called out before running out the door. Jamil just stood there and sighed. “He’s going to be heartbroken when he finds out the truth. Oh well, that’s his problem to deal with.”

You had just gotten done with homework when an all too familiar voice called out to you. “Hench human! The great Grim requests his tuna!” You smiled as you turned to face Grim. "It’s only three pm, Grim, you’ve got to wait until dinner time.” Grim just scowled and walked over to the bed to lie down. Just as you were cleaning your desk, you heard knocking coming from the front door. “If you can’t give me food, then can you at least make it so that I can have a nap Y/N”? Asked Grim. You gave him a nod before standing up to go see who was at the door. 

When you answered the door, Kalim was there with his hands behind his back. “Hey Y/N, could I come inside for a moment”? He asked. You smiled and stepped aside to let him enter. “Of course, just please keep your voice down. Grim is trying to take a nap.” Kalim gave you one of his cheerful grins as he entered your dorm.

“So, what brings you to Ramshackle, Kalim”? You questioned as you turned away for a few moments to close the door, but as soon as you turned around, a bouquet of f/c roses was in your face. “I’m here to bring you these and tell you how I truly feel about you, Y/N”! Kalim answered. You looked at him confused as you took the flowers from him. Kalim took notice of your confused expression and started to explain. “I fell in love with you the day you saved my butt from Grims fire at the opening ceremony!” Your confused face quickly turned to one of shock as you heard him say a certain word, love. 

You held up your hand to stop him from continuing. “Hold up! Did you just say that you love me, Kalim?” Kalim smiled even brighter as he replied to your question. “Yup! I really want to make you the happiest girl in the whole world, Y/N. So, what do you say? Do you want to go out on a date tonight?” “Uh- Kalim, I-,” but before you could continue, Kalim cut you off. “We could use my magic carpet to take you to your favorite restaurant!” “Kalim, I should probably tell you-” but Kalim started to speak before you could finish again. “I should tell my family about you! I’m sure they would love to meet you!” Finally, having had enough of Kalim’s interruptions, you snapped. “Kalim! I don’t love you!”

Those words made Kalim freeze in shock, “You…don’t love me, Y/N? Not even a little bit?” You shook your head, which left an upset look on Kalim’s face. “But, why? Is there something wrong with me? I can change Y/N! I’ll do anything to make you happy-” Concern quickly washed over you as you started to shake your hands. “No! No! No! There’s nothing wrong with you, Kalim! It’s just that I’m a lesbian, so I only like women!” A confused look appeared on Kalim’s face as he turned his head away. “I’m sorry, Kalim, but I’m sure that you’ll find an amazing partner someday,” you told him with a sigh. Kalim turned to look at you once more. “Y/N...do you have a girlfriend?”

Now it was you who was confused. “No, I don’t. Why?” Kalim’s usual smile reappeared on his face. “I could help you find a girlfriend if you like! I know a couple of girls who would love to meet someone as pretty as you! Want me to introduce you to some of them?” A smile made its way to your face as you let out a soft laugh. “Thank you for the offer, Kalim, but I would rather find a girlfriend through my own means. I appreciate the offer though.” “Well, when you do find a girlfriend, I’ll pay for your wedding and honeymoon”! Kalim declared proudly. 

You were happy with what Kalim was saying, but you couldn’t help but wonder one thing. “Kalim, why are you being so nice to me despite me rejecting you?” Kalim raised his voice a little bit. “Why?! It’s because-,” “Can you two keep it down! I’m trying to sleep here”! Grim yelled from upstairs. “Sorry, Grim”! Yelled Kalim before quieting down and turning to you. “Why? It’s because I love you, Y/N. I said I’d do anything to make you happy. Even if you’re not my girlfriend, I will always love you.” Kalim walked over to you and hugged you. “You’re my friend after all, Y/N!”

I've been looking through some old writing applications for zines and I've noticed that most if not all of the rules demands a piece of writing or two to see if your writing style is what they are looking for. So, I'm going to start writing and publishing some Twisted Wonderland fanfiction that i write on here and build up a portfolio. Wish me luck!

hey, does anyone know if there are any twisted wonderland zines that are currently looking for applications that will accept writing applications from a 16 almost 17 year old? I want to attempt to take part in a zine but I’m having no luck in finding one. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
