Hi I'm back with more bullshit. This one will have implications of dub/non con at the end, as well as victim blaming, so I'll put that stuff under a read more.

Anyways.

Instead of your yandere drugging YOU with a love potion, they're your oh-so-loving boyfriend that stumbles across the aftermath of another student doing so.

It's a bit of a miracle you were alone long enough for that to happen but it has to for plot-

Mob-kun doesn't even have time to register how fucked he is before he's ripped off of you, head slamming into the hard concrete while you cry out in concern for your "lover."

Whether it's trying to coerce you into sleeping with him, kissing you, or even just a hug that you looked too happy about, Yan is PISSED. As he should be! He's worked SO hard to get and keep you away from other people! And this is why!

Some of them might take you to get cured right away, and deal with the guy later. Some might be content to let you weep, scream, or freeze while they beat this homewrecking piece of shit into the pavement. The potion will wear off eventually, then you'll understand that he was just protecting you!

And then some would take you both back to his dorm, letting the beaten student sit in his room until you come to your senses.

If he's a little insistent on having you both prove how serious your relationship is while this wannabe is forced to watch?

He was just soooo upset seeing you with someone else. Even if it wasn't entirely your fault, you technically cheated! Make it up to him, won't you?

AH! I'm playing through the new chapter, and had a thought that goes with my last one.

So, imagine the player takes the place of Yuu at some point during the main story. From the beginning, or partway through.

What if they changed the events of unwinnable battles by making their friends stronger? Like where you win in the actual fight, but lose in the story?

So Ace and Deuce vs Vil in Chapter 5, and vs the STYX guys in Chapter 6!

I post here once in a blue moon, but dropping in to declare a distinct rule in my version of the self aware au that I made because I have a god complex.

In my AU, the player, even after being ikesai'ed into twst, has power over the characters we can get cards of. As in, since we can level their cards, groovy them, boost their spell levels, and uncap them, we give them strength.

And since we can give it, who's to say we can't take it away?

If one of your faves starts getting a little too possessive of you, starts limiting what you can and can not do, strip them of what you gave them, and give it to someone else. Maybe somebody who is helping you at the time, making everybody desperate to stay in your favor. Maybe to the ones they dislike the most, just to hurt them and keep them in line.

Hey, it's your power. Use it how you will. And yes, this is me insinuating that you have the ability to put Grim, now that we have a card of him, on the same level as Malleus and Lilia.

Maybe it's just my depressed 4 am ass kicking in, but I always see people asking about reader/darling trying and failing to escape. What the punishments are, etc.

I'm an enabler, so let's say that in the yan self-aware verse, the characters aren't aware of how their chapter ends.

Which means the moment you're popped in there instead of Yuu, Riddle establishes a new Heartslabyl cast rule: The player is not to be left on their own.

Whether they know they were designed to be your first dorm dealt with or not doesn't matter to them in the slightest. If they don't know, then they believe that you chose them! If they do, then whatever highest power there is in the world picked them to watch over you! Either way, it was meant to be!

The regular NPCs of the world don't see you as who you really are. To them, there's no difference between you and Yuu. Tragic, really. But it helps them keep your existence in their world under the radar.

Ace and Deuce are the only ones in your class, and after that you get passed off to either Cater or Trey for club time. Trey knows they couldn't hide you from Rook if they tried, and Cater has a feeling Lilia already knows...meanwhile, Kalim is pretty oblivious. You aren't meant to know him yet, so while he feels something is off about you, something that makes him so much happier whenever Cater brings you to their club meetings, he can't quite put his finger on it.

When Ruggie is supposed to use his Unique Magic to steal Grim's sandwich, he ends up distracted and going back empty-handed. Not that Leona's too upset, because the news he carries with him is so much more interesting.

Plans have changed a little bit. The Magift tournament is tossed out the window, due to a much more appealing prize. The NPCs of Savanaclaw are pretty confused as to why they're specifically targeting members of Heartslabyl now, but to hell with it. Boss' orders, right?

In fact, Magift is supposed to be a no-holds barred game, ain't it? Well, now they've got a bone to pick with a specific dorm. Why not cripple them in advance, and prepare themselves for the hunt?

Ruggie is more than happy with the change of plan. Or at least, he is eventually. Because the more time he spends stalking after their newest prey, the oblivious first years you're always hanging around with, the more time he spends in your presence. Even if it is further away than he'd like...

Maybe it's because they drew power from you behind the screen before your appearance in this world, but for the folks who know who you really are, you're like a beacon of energy. For the hyena who's been starved for just about everything his whole life, living off of scraps, having you in front of him is a buffet that replenishes itself faster than he can eat it. His heart has never felt so full!

Jack was never on board with his dorm leader's original plan, no matter how much respect he used to have for him. As for the new one...it's a bit more complicated.

Sure, he resents Heartslabyl for keeping you away from the rest of them. What the hell! They didn't honestly think they could keep it up forever, did they? And it wasn't fair, either! It wasn't like they were the only people who had your attention. Main Story or no Main Story, you gave yourself to more than just their dorm, so to keep you all to themselves was just...agggh!

On the other hand, you had chosen on your own not to go to the other dorms, either...not that that was a bad choice. The other dorms weren't exactly full of trustworthy people. His own included. The path Leona is trying to lead them down has got to be the wrong choice. If you thought they were the best option, you would have gone with them! Riddle was able to see the error of his ways before...but so can Jack! So he'll prove to you that he can be trusted on his own, without the rest of his dorm! Then he can also protect you!

Last but certainly not least, Leona. He's less subtle once their goals have changed. Let Riddle show up, so long as he brings you with him. Hell, he'll take on the whole dorm at once as long as you're the honored guest. After the stunt they pulled, they deserve to all be turned to sand.

Something in the air had been off for a while, not quite putting him on edge, but more than enough to grab his attention. It was honestly kind of irritating, the way it kept him from being able to drift off like usual.

Looking back on it, he should've gotten off his ass and went looking for the source. Would've saved him a lot of trouble. At least now he gets to kill two birds with one stone. He won't make the same mistake those pesky herbivores did.

Once he's put them in their place, you won't be leaving. Ever.

After all, it's hard to be second place when you're the only one competing.

Oop I have a Yandere thought- Bri needs to get her head out of plot mode and into shitpost mode!

Anyways here's the prompt-

So, Yan Azul, but with a childhood darling that was a few years older than him. Noticed him getting picked on one day, and used older kid powers to get them to knock it off.

After that, darling noticed this adorable shy little octopus, and kind of took him under their wing- er, tail, I guess.

Spending time with him every now and again, encouraging him, definitely defending him if they ever caught folks picking on him again. After a while, it's pretty clear Azul's developed a little puppy crush on them. It's cute in it's own right.. Sure, their friends give them a little ribbing for their "little admirer" whenever they catch him a few feet away, peeking behind the corner, only for a purple blush to spread across his face at being caught. They never gave it much thought. Somebody finally stood up for him, so of course he'd get a little attached. He'll grow out of it.

But he never did. Once he gets those eels hanging around him, they start to pull away. Little Azul finally has some friends! Besides, they're starting to face important things in life. They're not ditching him, but they really don't have time to hold his hand in life anymore. The bullying has mostly stopped by now, anyways. He's improved so much! They really are proud of him, but now they've gotta do their own thing!

In Azul's mind, he's now scrambling for what he surely must have done wrong for them to start abandoning them. All the features he's taken from the people around him...that was all for them! The reason they'd never taken him seriously must have been because he was lacking. Lacking...something!

It was because he was a useless, stupid, crybaby octopus. So he stopped being useless, stopped being stupid, and...at least tried to stop being a crybaby!

So- so- so why are they trying to leave? What did he do wrong!?

Alright, next on the "giving them a childhood darling to go yan over" is Leona. Now that I've learned how to do a read more on mobile, under the cut!

Gender not explicitly specified, but more fem leaning based on content. Just because they're in a guard position, and it's been stated that most guards in the Afterglow Savana are female.

Content warning for yandere behaviors! Honestly it's not that yan but that's what I had in mind-

So, darling is from a very well respected family that's been serving the royal family as guards for generations now. To the point where it's expected for at least one of them to been seen accompanying the King and Queen personally.

Darling was born at just the right time to end up gradually assigned as Leona's personal bodyguard. Throwaway prince or not, royalty is royalty. They train as they get older, but of course also end up spending a lot of time with the young prince.

His attitude wasn't always shit, but starts developing that way once he starts getting older and more bitter about his place in life. They aren't having it. So what if he'll never be king? He can still be better than Farena! Stronger, smarter, whatever! Not that they aren't supportive. Gods help whatever poor soul makes a snide comment about their prince in earshot of them.

Alright, they're pretty annoying sometimes, but...Leona would be lying if he said it wasn't nice to have somebody in his corner. Who would actually pick him over his brother.

And then, like everything else in his life, he goes and fucks it up.

Darling has an attitude as well, at least enough of one to not let the prince walk all over them. Is he their favorite person? Sure! Doesn't mean he's always right. A good friend calls you out when you're wrong.

It just so happens the opposing side was his brother's, this go around.

Of course. Of fucking course it wouldn't last forever. Of course, in the end, he would be left on his own while Farena was the perfect little princeling who could do no wrong.

They might be trained for battle, but they'd never have expected the second prince, of all people, to be the one attacking them. Their airway is suddenly cut off, feet dangling as they're lifted into the air, and they can see sand falling. It isn't until the pain hits that they realize Leona is using his Unique Magic on them.

The noise draws attention, and more guards barge into the lion's room. The two are forcibly separated, and darling is taken away to recover.

The next day, Leona's father tells him something that to this day brings rage whenever he recalls it. They're getting restationed. Not even in the fucking palace anymore.

He didn't even get a chance to see them again. After over a fucking decade of companionship, they're just gone!

He feels sick. Pissed off beyond belief. Guilty.

And then five years go by. Five years of not seeing their face. Of passing their family in the halls, and ignoring the stares every god damned time. NRC provides a bit of a distraction. At least there's a reason he isn't seeing them there. Not that Malleus, having three stupid fucking bodyguards chasing after him, makes him feel any better.

The Magift tournament comes around, he Overblots, blah blah blah. Sure, let them think he "learned his lesson" or whatever.

In the infirmary, his nephew finds him. Little brat (affectionate but he'd never admit it-). No doubt the guards following the little shit around are freaked out-

"Che- Prince Cheka!"

Before the scolding voice even registers, the scent hits him. Even after five years, he knows it. How could he fucking forget?

Though he completely stiffens when they enter the room, he's satisfied to note that so do they, upon spotting him.

"...Ah."

Ruggie notices the suddenly tense, almost fearful atmosphere that has now taken over. But before he can bring it up, the new addition scoops up the lion cub with a familiarity that would surely get them in trouble in the public eye.

"Let's get you back for now, alright? You scared your mother when you snuck off like that!" Their voice is gentle, but it's clear they're avoiding looking at Leona, giving they turn their back to him as soon as Cheka is in their arms.

"But I wanna talk to Unca Leona some more!"

"I'm sure His Highness will want to see his brother later, and he'll take you then." They glance at everyone but him. "So sorry for this little scamp-" Cheka giggles at that- "bothering you all!" Again, no chance to respond before they leave.

"...Someone you know?" That damned hyena glances over at Leona, already knowing the answer.

From one prince to the next, huh? And the nerve to ignore him like that. How long had they been looking after Cheka? How did he not know? Did Farena purposefully hide it from him? Of course he was completely pissed right now, but...

"Mind your own business, Ruggie."

Why did it feel like his heart was about to beat out of his chest?

1. All characters written as yandere here will be depicted as 18+. As you can guess, this means I will not write for the obviously baby characters such as Ortho and Cheka.

2. I don't really wanna do soft yandere. By that I mean *MC who accepts their affections and loves them anyways* type thing. Begrudgingly accepts, sure. Pretends to accept in order to manipulate, sure.

3. I don't do OCs, just reader-inserts. I also don't really wanna specify appearance details. So no racial details, body types, hair or eye color. If I think bio sex will have an impact, I'll make it clear so folks who get triggered by that can avoid it.

4. About NSFW, eh maybe. I've never really written it before, but if a request for it interests me, I'll give it a go.

5. I have blatant favorites, and it shows. I'll write for any of the NRC students, but my faves get priority.
