it just makes me so insane how death note and breaking bad are the same show in every conceivable way. meth note is so real. every time i say this, people think i am making some kind of joke and i wish i could prove my earnestness to them. breaking bad is one of the greatest shows ever created, and death note is a dogshit anime with nothing good to say a lot of the time, but i adore both of them for all the same reasons and am just so fascinated by what they both do. doesn't anyone out there understand

the girl talking in that video reminds me so wholly of this trans woman i lived with for a very brief period of time in a 6-person townhouse, who was tall and beautiful and blonde and always smoking a cigarette, who liked to sit out on the porch in the sunshine and crack jokes at me whenever i came home from work. but most notably at all was the funniest thing she ever said to me, where she said "you can deadname me for this joke, are you ready?" and i was like oh jesus. yes? and she said "guess which two beatles my parents named me after."

and i said "...john paul?"

and she screamed, at the top of her lungs "NO, GEORGE RINGO!" and shut my door and left.

i think about her every day.
